Visible Mobile Hotspot (How fast is it???) By BTech Reviews

Hey guys this is Mike from Tech reviews here, and today we discover how fast the visible mobile service hotspot is. Welcome back to my channel, so this past week, I was unfortunate to lose internet connection here at my house right. So when that happened, I didn't really have a lot of options. I do have T-Mobile hotspot, but my T-Mobile hotspot is only 3G hotspots, so I was getting pretty slow. Internet connections and I forgot that visible mobile has a hotspot as well. So this is my visible mobile phone for those of you who haven't seen my other videos.

This is the visible r2 right, and I went ahead and reconnected the service just because I wanted to see how fast it was, and it was only $20. So I was like you know why not, let's do it, so I paid the $20, because I already had a referral code, so I've paid the $20, and I actually turned it on, and I was very surprised to see that the mobile hotspot on this is actually relatively fast again. Remember that this is actually on Verizon's 4G LTE network and as far as I know, they don't cap you out on any type of hotspots that you use on it, and they don't they don't again cap you on the speeds either so go on from there. I just want to kind of show you guys there right now. I do have the hotspot connected right there, let's see if I can get that to focus there.

We go mobile hotspot is connected. It says that there's one device connected already, so the one device that I connected was my Emma digit a5 Pro, just to kind of show you guys and let me go ahead and open that up, just so that you guys can see it so that you can verify that I'm, not the seen over here. So I named the hotspot. If I can get this to focus again, let's see if we can do that or not there, you go, so I named the hotspot, visible r2d2, just for the heck of it. The stock name was something else.

I just went ahead and changed it that just so you guys can can see that though, so that is the hotspot name for this device over here, and I'm, going to go ahead and run a speed test for you guys just so that we can take a look their case. So then you find the speed test at first. Okay hold on so sorry about that guys by the way, so it turns out. I did not have speed tests installed on this phone, so I'm installing it right now. But well it's installing.

Let me go ahead and just tell you guys what happened this past week and continue on with that story. So it looks like it already installed. So in the meantime, let me go ahead and at the app started here, but again what happened was my internet provider went out basically, and I had to kind of look for a viable option because it was still early in the evening, and I was like well I can just watch Netflix on my phone or I? Could actually, you know, pay for the twenty dollars for visible just to kind of test out to see how fast the hotspot is, so I actually was able to connect my Smart TV to it, and my also my laptop just to kind of verify that how fast it was, and I was able to do HD streaming on my smart TV with no issue, so I was able to use YouTube and Netflix with no issues and I just want kind of wanted to show you guys. Let's see, we use the phone permissions identity, yeah, yeah, okay, let's go ahead and give them permissions here, I think hold on, lets I'm, trying to check mark it. Let's see, okay, allow yeah, yeah, yeah I'm, just allowing everything.

Okay, probably shouldn't be allowing okay speed test, would like to periodically check the mobile coverage. Sure why not I don't have mobile on this UMA do GFI Pro. So let me go ahead and test the service for you guys again. This is on the visible r2 hotspot and the only kind of downfall about that is on the hotspot. You can only you can only download, or you can only have one device connected to it at a time.

So, as you can see here, I'm getting pretty decent download speeds right now, I'm at 19 downloads and hopefully the upload might be a little higher, we'll see how it goes. But for the most part you know this was actually a pretty cool alternative in a sense to where okay I'm only paying $40 a month. Let's again, let's use the price point of visible mobile as a point of service right. So if you live alone for whatever reason or just exist, whatever etc. like that, let's just say, for instance, your internet goes out whatever, and you just happen to be using visible service again.

This is their hotspot guys and even though that might not be fast for some people, that's pretty fast for people in some of the areas that they live in. So you know it's just definitely kind of shock. Let me go ahead and do another test just to kind of to verify. Let's see if we get a different speed here, but for the most part you know, I mean a twenty download Meg again ten uploads or whatever you want to call. It is going to be pretty fast for some people, depending on their area.

Okay, now again, you're not going to get this result in all the areas that are around. You know. It really just depends on the service and where you live, etc. like that, but for me, Verizon's service is pretty okay where I live. So you know fast.

This I've seen for Verizon was maybe like 100 Meg's on my iPhone and again, this is an Android phone that I'm tethering off of from another Android phone, so really impressed. If you guys look at the numbers there, 24 downloads and 19 uploads, oh I'm gonna- make that my thumb no guys but anyway, so yeah, basically guys. That's it I just wanted to kind of. Let you know hey that you know regardless of visible. You know I, guess bad things about it, because you know a lot of people complain that there's you know robocalls that you get.

There's no customer service etc. , like that that if there's one positive thing that you can kind of get out of it, it's using their phone as a mobile hotspot or using their service as a mobile hotspot. You know especially again for people they cannot afford high-speed Internet, and you know if you, if you live at home- and you know you can only afford one bill. This would be something that you could think about using. Obviously you know: you're not going to have multiple devices connected to it.

Unfortunately, again everything with when I tried connecting another device to it. It would only allow me to connect one device to a guy. So again, let me run one more speed test for you guys just so that we can test this out for you all, and then I'll go ahead and end the video there. All right, look, I'm, hoping for at least 30 Megs download literally depends on the phone, and again I'm not getting to too much speed there. It looks like I'm gonna, probably stay under 20 for the most part open every owner might have jumped over 20 and the few times that I actually did do.

This I was actually bench, at least thirty downloads, 30 downloads and about 20 uploads, just where it's at right now so very impressed on what you know again. The hot spot on this sheepy $20 device can do you know what I mean, and again I was able to connect this hot spot on this GB phone to my Smart TV over here to the left.
