Google PIXEL 3a, affordable smartphone review. By photoshopCAFE

So yesterday Google made the big announcement: the Google Pixel 3, a smartphone has a lot of the features in the Google pixels 3, but at about half the price. So let's have a look at it right now and see if it's worth the money. So here we go. We have the Google pixels 3 a let's unbox it pop it open, get that team pixel here. There's the phone I'll cut that to the side, and we'll look at that in a second that's what else we got in here little thing here: to remove the sim. Has some stickers charging brake USB to USB see it goes from a USB to a regular USB 3.

So what makes this a $400 phone versus the pixel 3, which is an $800 phone more or less? Well, let's compare them. Here's the pixel 3 and here are the pixels 3 a so the pixel 3 is in black Pixel 3a is in white all right. So if we look at the back notice that this has a shell, it's polycarbonate, shell, all the way around, whereas the pixel 3 has a little of glass on here and the big thing about that is wireless charging. The 3 supports wireless charging, whereas the 3a does not support wireless charging, but speaking of charging one of the nice things about this is the battery has been increased to a 3000 William battery, and they boast that on the rapid charger here, I can get seven hours of life out of this out of a 15-minute charge. Now that's good when you get in a jam okay, so let's continue looking at the build.

If we look at the phones here, you will notice that the 3/8 is just a little longer than the 3 and just slightly wider thickness pretty similar. So this one's just a little bigger, which is the same screen size, but it has a little of a bigger bezel around it other notable changes. If we look on the 3, you'll notice, you've got left and right stereo speakers on here on the 3a. It also has left and right, but only one is forward facing the other. One is bottom facing, so you still get the stereo sound, but a little different, so the 3 is water-resistant.

The 3a is splash resistant, Turner mom. This still has an OLED screen, so it's there's still nice and bright with lots of detail. Nice, saturated colors, deep blacks, but not quite as much resolution as the three both of them support the fingerprint ID, which is something I, really love and I, missed on the iPhone fingerprint ID on the 3a, as well as on the three one thing that is missing on the three which is now on the 3a is, if you leave to flip it over, and we look on the top. We now have the return of the hip phone jack. So that's really nice.

So the 3a has four gigs of RAM, which is the same as the original Google Pixel 3 has 64 gigs of internal storage, there's no SD or micro SD card in here, but what they do give you are free, unlimited storage for all your photos online and speaking of photos camera. So the camera here on the 3a is exactly the same camera that was on the Google Pixel, which supports all the nice features such as you know, the nice night shots optical and digital stabilization for photos. Also, stabilization for videos can shoot for take and shoot 1920 by 1080 up to 120 frames per second, the for K does 30 frames per second, so it's a very capable camera and in fact, speaking of as myself as an iPhone user from the very beginning, having been using the Google Pixel 3 for a number of months now, I have to tell you. The camera on this thing is really impressive. Really surprised me, I, didn't think that the camera could be as good as the iPhone camera, but I actually think the camera here is better than the iPhone camera nice good, crisp photos, shoots really well in low light, is taking advantage of a Sony sensor and also uses AI to create depth.

So you can also get those def Maps, like I. Did the tutorial yesterday on how to turn a photo into a 3d Facebook photo, or you can actually shoot that natively on the 3 and the 3/8? So the camera is great, so the forward facing camera only though, is only 8 megapixels, and you can't expand into that wide shot that you could get on the 3. However, the 3/8 does have a wider angle forward facing camera performance-wise. The chip on the 3a is a little slower than the one on the 3, but it's not significant. You know when you're browsing and using the phone, you won't notice a huge difference where you might notice.

A difference is where you're playing games, which a process is intensive so anyway, guys I just wanted to give you this quick overview of the new pixel, 3a, and I'm gonna, be digging in a little deeper I'm going to be doing some tests. I'm going to be trying out the camera a little more doing photo tests and different things like that.
