Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 5G HD Tablet -- REVIEW

This is definitely a sweet tablet, but is it worth the money? Let's check it out and oh hid ave Taylor here, and I suppose I should show you what I'm doing I'm watching Austin powers, man of mystery right. So let's go ahead and pause this. I definitely don't have the rights to share it with you, and I'll bring this back to the home screen somewhat begrudgingly, but oops what's happened here, no you're, not my assistant, wanted to talk to me, but I don't want to talk to her. So what is this device? This is the Samsung Galaxy tab, s7 5g, and it's a really sweet tablet. It has, as you can see, a big, absolutely vivid screen. It's fast having lots of cool capabilities, but it is a really hefty price tag.

So, let's start by running down the specs, it's powered by a snapdragon 865 pro outscore, which has one core at 3.09, gigahertz, three cores at 2.4 gigahertz and four cores at 1.8 gigahertz. That's that complicated processor. The screen is a vivid 11-inch screen with a 120 hertz refresh rate, and it's 2560 by 1600. So, as you can see, it just does an amazing job. It is just such a delight to look at this screen and this has better resolution potentially than your television in a tiny form factor.

So you can imagine if you're sitting there watching a movie as I was it just looks fantastic. It really looks good now forward and rear-facing cameras. The rear-facing cameras are up here and there's a 13 megapixel and 5 megapixel rear camera, and it can shoot at up to 4k at 30 frames per. Second, I'm going to give you a couple of quick demos. I didn't really have a chance to do super glamorous photography, it's kind of this state of the times right, but here's a couple of photos and then here's a quick video that demonstrates that, yes, you can zoom while you're taking a video and the front facing camera is an eight megapixel front camera and that does a nice job.

As you can see in this selfie, it's really pretty crisp slightly over saturated, but still nothing to complain about, considering and obviously for something like using this for zoom or skype or Microsoft meeting, or something it's going to do just fine. So in terms of memory capabilities, it's 128 gig. They have other configurations, and you can drop in up to a one terabyte micro SD card for additional space. It's a lot of space for a tablet, but you might want to have the entire Star Wars movie series on your tablet right: how cool would that be so the battery it's an 8 000 William hour battery, which is pretty hefty now Samsung, says 14 hours of use, but users report a lot less, maybe 10 hours, maybe closer to 8 hours, even that's still a lot of time, and it charges on the bottom via USB, yes, USB, cable and um. What is it a 15 watt charger included in the box um, but it does mean that you are going to be charging it every day if you're in doing typical usage now it does have fast charge capabilities.

So you give it enough wattage in that charge cord, and it can do a 50 charge in about an hour and a little. So if it's dying, that's a good way to give it a boost. It's running, android, 10.0, Bluetooth, 5.0 and one of the things I will give them huge props for is that it has four speakers on all four corners. So the sound is perfect for a tablet and in fact it has Dolby Atmos now, obviously, you're only going to get some limited level of audio capabilities, particularly since, instead of them facing forward they're facing sideways. So you have that inherent limited.

You know limitation, but if you get a case for it, and you can have it at the right angle, it is an entirely watchable and enjoyable experience, which is good because there ain't no 3.5 millimeter audio jack. So let's do a quick tour of the edges on the right hand, side you have the typical android power button and volume up down and then at the lower portion of it you have the micro SD slot on the top. You have basically just the speakers on the left side. You have three dots for a Samsung, smart charging case or external keyboard, so that's nice. Furthermore, you can put it on and everything just instantly ready to go and on the bottom you have two more speakers and the USB charging on the very back.

We already talked about the camera, but here's a close-up of what those two camera lenses and the built-in flash look like it does stick out, and that is something worth knowing if you're going to have it in a really rough environment, you might really want to put it in a case to protect that, and let's see, one of the great features is that it does include an s pen and this is Samsung's stylus, and it also has like a magnet hold. If you can get it to work right. Let's see there we go so there is a magnet here that can hold the pen, which is nice. But honestly, I feel like, if I just had it like this, then odds are very good. That at some point I would look down, and the stylus would be gone.

So it's strong, but I would prefer something that clips on or more likely in the actual case, that I would use that it would have somewhere to store the pen, but the stylus pen is just a lovely feel to it. So you can there's a button on the side and if you haven't tried the stylus pen with the Samsung systems, they've done a really great job with this. It's a really nice feel, and you can do sketches and doodles and take notes and annotate documents and stuff all really, really cool. So there's really a lot to like about this, and, as I said, you know, it is a gorgeous screen in terms of dimensions. It's 9.9 inches by 6.5 inches by a nice modest quarter of an inch. It is a square edge.

Furthermore, it is not a rounded edge which might be something relevant, and it is 17 ounces. So it is kind of a little heavy. So if you are planning on holding this for long periods of time, you might want to go and feel it. I mean weight versus screen size. An 11-inch screen is pretty darn.

Nice. That's really a small laptop, but it is worth knowing. So what's the issue here? Well, there's really not an issue. This is a lovely, lovely tablet, everything's in sync with 5g. You don't need to worry about being on Wi-Fi.

You can obviously make calls with it and everything so, so much to like. I wish it had that 3.5 millimeter jack, but whatever we're living in modern times, and we all have to get used to that. The real issue is the price I feel like they price this above what it's actually worth. So, let's talk about the price, but before we get there, I'm going to ask if you can subscribe to my channel just a click or a tap on that red button on the lower right and boom. You're subscribed great.

Thank you. Okay, this I don't know why it just turned off. Let's turn it on again, I will unlock it, which is a little tricky to do sideways, but there we go. So this is the Samsung Galaxy tab, s7 5g, and if you get it without the 5g, you can pick it up for 629 at amazon. com.

But if you want it with 5g through at t, it is a whopping 849.99 at att. com, or you can pick it up with monthly installments of 28.34 a month plus the cost of that 5g service. So this is a substantial investment and for 850 or all right to be fair, six hundred and thirty dollars. You really want a lot of tablets, and I'm not sure that this has that much over the Apple iPad airline. That's a similar size, similar dimensions, better battery life, faster processor, better user experience, better integration into at least the Apple ecosystem.

If not the windows' ecosystem, if you're a huge android fan, this is definitely worth checking out. But again you know one of the prices you pay is trying to find a good case for it or trying to find the matching keyboard from a third party and such maybe not an issue, but there's so much to like about this. I really wish they would have dropped the price, or maybe they will drop the price at some point and is it worth getting 5g? Well, 5g is sort of up and coming still, it is live, but so far in the US at least our 5g is not anything to write home about, and if you did write home about it is would be slow. So I would suggest, unless you really need this to be online all by itself that probably just the Wi-Fi model might be perfectly fine either way you can check it out at amazon. com.

If you want the non-5g or att. com, if you want the 5g version, so that was all well and good. I'm going back to Austin powers, so I'll hope to see you in my next video you.
