Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus Vs Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra - Detailed Camera Comparisons

Hey guys what's up, this is Shiva from e-cat is for you and in this video I will show you the camera differences of the two most popular smartphones. As of now. Yes, you have got it right. It's the Samsung, galaxy s21 plus and the Samsung Galaxy s21 ultra. So don't forget you, let's dig deep into this particular video, so I have actually rotated the camera and kept it in a working space angle over here. So it'd be easier for me to uh like talk to you through the video and also show you the pictures now before I get on with the pictures that I've shot with the Samsung Galaxy s21 plus and the Samsung Galaxy 21 ultra.

There are certain things that I want to make sure that you are aware of these particular scenarios. Now you must be aware that here we are speaking of two flagships. Actually, there are three flagships from Samsung Galaxy series in the year of 2021 as of now till dead, but the Samsung Galaxy, s21 plus and the galaxy s21 ultra are two of the top most flagships from Samsung that is available currently in Indian market. Now, let me tell you, the price of Samsung Galaxy s21 plus is a starting price of eighty-two thousand and one lakh six thousand rupees for the Samsung Galaxy s21 ultra. So I thought of making this particular video interesting by a certain way.

The pictures that I'll show you in this particular video I have actually shot them in nighttime and also in the morning when the sun was not out. Actually, the sun was very late because it's very cold right here right now, where I'm leaving so the sun was actually not out. Also, it was a cloudy day, so all the shots were taken in very, very low light. Actually it does give you an idea that how is the performance of the camera from these two particular smartphones? Because, let's be honest, these two particular smartphones are camera, centric phones. So before again, I start with the pictures of videos and everything I want to show you.

I actually want to roll your montage that actually talks about the configuration's overview from a camera perspective on Samsung, galaxy, s200 plus and the s21 ultra, so let's get to it at first. So yes, now that this particular thing is done, I will actually run through the images which I've taken in my laptop and my surface g14. By the way, the review of this particular laptop is coming soon, so stay subscribed for that too. Anyways going off-topic in the topic of Samsung, galaxy, s21, plus and h31 I'll. Try the camera the perspective of the camera.

Yes, these are the photos that you can see, and I will screen record and also show you the pictures, and I'll talk through you to this particular video as well. So, let's get started now so now. The first picture that you see over here is actually shot in nighttime conditions. Yes, it was midnight. The first picture that I have taken with the Samsung Galaxy s21 plus and the s21 I'll draw over now.

The scenario over here is that, if you see in this particular picture, yes, it was actually welded, because I actually I was shooting at this particular time also. So yes, it was well lit with a lot of lights and all- and here you can see that actually the clarity uh. If I zoom uh over here in the samsung Samsung Galaxy s21 ultra over here, you will find that on further zooming. Yes, the charities are over there perfectly depicted over here anyways moving on to the next picture over here it was shot in the morning and yes, it was a foggy day. Actually it was a chilly foggy day uh over here and yes in this particular picture.

If you see at the dynamic ranges over here, because yes, there are a lot of flowers over here in this particular picture that you can see and yes again uh. If you see yes, this is not a portrait shot, but by default uh. The background is blurred over here, but then again uh as you can find out. What I have seen with my own is that the s21 ultra tends to give you that perfect picture. I mean to say in the way sense that it gives you the exact amount of coloring.

That is that was there in this. For this particular picture, whereas s21 plus is getting a little of saturated over here, but then again the pictures came out great in low light as well. Moving to the next picture, it was shot from the rooftop and, yes, it was a selfie, and over here you can find that the s21 plus is a bit over saturated here, whereas the s21 ultra actually tends to give you the perfect skin tone that was uh there, while sure clicking this particular picture again: uh, yes, s21 ultra being the heavier phone over here with the heavier cameras and all and, of course, um. The 40 megapixel shooter in the front camera did a good justice to the selfie over here anyways. Moving on to the next picture.

Over here again, I told you: it was a foggy day over here and again, yes, uh shot from my rooftop as well. There was not an ample source of sunlight whatsoever, but then again, looking at this particular pictures, you will find that here over here. I want to focus on this particular tree uh. Now, if I go to the Samsung Galaxy s21 plus, you will see that the t3 is blurred out over here on uh zooming to an extreme level, whereas if I go to the same zooming level in the s21 ultra, you will find that the tree is not so blurred out over there. Yes, it tends to get blurred out eventually, but uh at the same zoom uh level.

The s21 ultra is not zooming out so yeah. It tells you about the property of the photos that you take with the Samsung Galaxy. S7 ultra is a tad better than that of the s21 plus, and rightly so. It has a bigger camera and stuffs for that. Moving on to the next picture again over here, if you see this particular picture on a foggy day in a winter morning again- and you will see that yes, if I zoom in this particular picture in the same zooming angle, the s21 plus uh is a getting a bit a tad blurred out, whereas it has not yet blurred out for this 21 ultra over here as a bill, but yeah it was around 10 a.

m. In the morning and a little of sunshine was available, so I thought of clicking this particular picture as well, with both the cameras- uh rightly uh so over here, and you will see that uh in the sky. If you look closely where the sunshine was available, a little of sunshine was available over there. You will see that uh, the uh, actually what to say that the light of the sun uh blows out over here, whereas for the Samsung Galaxy s21 ultra, it was showing entirely exactly it. It is trying to show exactly what was uh.

What I can see with my naked eyes, also um, that particular picture is depicted over here in the Samsung Galaxy s21 ultra. Now again, I want to make sure over here one more important point of thing that, yes, you can do up to 100x zoom in s21 ultra. But for me, it's a gimmicky thing. I don't think you will use a phone camera for 100, x, zoom or stuff, like that. I personally don't use it, and I have not seen the youngsters that I am quite familiar with uh the people living here have asked them.

Also, they also don't use it as well, so those gimmicky stuffs, I'm just leaving it out, I'm opting it out. I don't want to comment on those gimmicky stuff so again over here. You will see in this particular picture. The sun was out, but it was not brightest at all. It was not the brightest of days over here as well.

When I took this particular pictures and again over here, you will see that the output of the camera in s21 ultra tends to give you a more exact, look and feel saturation levels. The color levels actually over here. The dynamic ranges also, if you will find that it's a bit over saturated in s21 plus, whereas it's not so in s21 ultra uh. Here I have used the portrait mode, this particular image. As you can see now I have to zoom it over here again.

The s21 plus has a tendency to say over saturate the pictures over here, whereas the natural one came in the s21 ultra. Now, if I again zoom in over here, you will see that this particular hulk buster over here in the s21 ultra the edge detection is actually very, very good over here. I'm not saying it's the bad in s21 plus. You will see that the edge detection is equally good in s21 plus as well, but then again, if you, if I have to choose actually yes because of the over saturation s21 plus, does not get my vote in this particular image. Moving on to the next picture over here, it's a picture of mine and shorty the portrait mode as well and again the saturation levels you can see that s21 plus tends to get a bit over saturated, but then again if the s21 ultra picture is not over here and the stream when it was not here, I would have said that s21 plus is doing a great job over here, because uh believe me, as I have said it repeatedly, whether you are buying a one lakh rupees phone or a 10 000 rupees phone end of the day.

You are actually taking pictures to put in your social media platforms, and you want it to be saturated. You want it to be uh to look smooth, and you want it to look colorful, so stuffs like that, so maybe s21 plus has an edge over there again. Moving to this particular shot. It was shot indoors, also and again in the portrait mode, and over here also, you will see that both the cameras did a good job over here, but important thing. I want to show you over here because of the over saturation tendency of the s21 plus over here.

My face actually looks a tad brighter than that of the s21 ultra, whereas, yes, it was supposed to be a shadow over here on the left side of my face, and yes, the shadow is rightly depicted in the s21 ultra, but then again, as I've told you if you're worried about the social media pictures, maybe s21 plus picture is your thing because of the higher saturation levels, the brightness levels are also higher a bit okay for this particular picture of the plants you can see over here, uh both came out equally great. I have no complaint whatsoever uh in this particular image. I'm cool with both of them actually no complaints whatsoever. Uh, okay, this particular selfie- was shot in the morning early morning, actually not ample source of light. But here you will feel that the s21 ultra front camera, where uh the beauty mode was actually switched off in both the cameras.

But then again I found that s21 ultra in darker environments tends to make you a tad smooth, a tad uh higher in saturation levels. So actually it make it made me look pinkish my face, whereas it's not so uh s21 plus did a good job over here I should say so yeah this particular picture in low source of light. Actually it's not that bright, uh slides over there but uh. I feel that s21 plus did a good job over here than this 21 ultra okay, this particular shot was actually taken in nighttime over here and ah, let me be very clear over here with the s21 ultra. I took multiple shots of this particular scenario, but each and every time I saw that this particular hulk.

This particular green figure. The hulk is actually blurred out every time and the focus tends to rest with the Iron Man batman and the plant over here, whereas it was not so with s21. Plus. You will see that the hulk over here is not so out of focus over here. Trust me.

I have tried a lot of shots with this 21 ultra to get the hulk also in focus, but so for some reason it was not focusing on every time it was making it blurs. Hence, my vote for this particular image should go to the s21 plus again. This is an interesting shot. Actually, it was a well lit light that was over there or on top of this particular bottles and if it was nighttime, artificial lighting conditions and yes, s21 plus picture blows out a lot over here, no details whatsoever. It blows out very badly.

Yes, a little of blowing out is prevalent in s21 ultra over here as well, but then again in our lighting background and dark conditions, I think the s21 ultra did a good job in color management and light production levels in this particular picture as well. This yeah this is interesting, first, very late in artificial lighting and yes, 21 plus, I did uh over saturated this particular picture, as you can see over here. The face of my sun over here is a tad brighter because of the over saturation levels over here, whereas s21 ultra actually gave you the original output that it was looking so uh in this particular scenario, while taking the snap, so originality is maintained in the s21 ultra over here in this particular picture. Now these are the shots that were taken at night and in outside conditions. I was out playing badminton when I had both these particular handsets with me, so I took some shots over here and over here.

You will find in this particular scenario, obviously in artificial lighting, where there is a nighttime condition, not so well lit environments, let me say you um, yeah, obviously uh. If I zoom in over here in the s21 shot, you will see that there was a source of light over here which actually blew out the picture in this particular scenario, whereas for the same 21 ultra the same amount of light was there, but that portion was not so much blown out by that particular light that was present over here. So yes uh, I think, obviously by uh, for the experimental did a good job over here again in very challenging scenarios. Actually I took this particular picture again this particular source of light. As you can see over here, there was a lamp post over here that was prevalent in this 21 ultra.

You will see that the light source is blown out over here. As you can see, then again that blown out was not visible in these 21 ultra shot over here and yes, there is no detailing in this particular picture. If I zoom, you will see that both these particular pictures are acting actually getting blurred. So there is no detailing in this particular picture, but then again in challenging circumstances. I think the s9 ultra is doing a good job.

Uh then the s21 plus don't get me wrong. S7 plus uh is good. Uh here is the most challenging one, because the light was again in my background- and I was back facing the light over here. So yes, my face is totally dark in s21 plus, whereas s21 ultra over here, on the other hand, tried to put some light on my face and brighten up my face. Also, so yes definitely nighttime conditions, low light scenarios, s21 ultra, is doing a good job, as you can see in this particular pictures.

So now these particular pictures that I have seen I have shot in challenging scenarios in very low source of light in dark conditions, artificial identity conditions, so actually to give you an idea that you are spending the big bucks on this particular phone. So if you are planning to buy this and so how it does in this challenging scenarios, of course, in good sorts of flight and in good scenarios of light also, it will take wonderful pictures. No doubt on that. So I thought of skipping that particular parts and actually showing you what the challenging scenarios turn up in uh in the camera perspective for these two particular phones again, I want to show you some slo-mo recording that I did with both s21 plus and s21 ultra in very bad conditions of light in nighttime, while playing badminton. So look at this particular shots.

So right as you can see that yeah, I can tell you for sure that there was not much detailing happening uh in the s21 plus or the s31 ultra slo-mo, for both the scenarios but yeah. It gives you a fair bit of an idea that, yes, in the challenging conditions, also both the phones are capable of doing a slo-mo if you're into that sort of thing for your social media platforms and all and then again speaking about video. Both of cameras are capable of shooting 8k videos, but I hardly doubt that you will use your phone cameras to shoot 8k, which is again a gimmicky sort of thing. In my opinion, I don't know. Let me know your opinion in the comment section below, but I have shot some videos actually uh with the front camera and also the back camera.

So, let's find out uh those particular shots, and I'll meet you at the end. Again with my final verdict: hey guys, I'm shooting with the front camera of Samsung Galaxy, s21 plus and Samsung Galaxy s21 ultra, I'm sorry for the background noise, because some construction work is going on in my building uh. But apart from that, I'm shooting this video at the very same time using both the phones, and I'm it's actually a handheld, I'm not using any type of like uh, stabilizer or whatever, because it's a natural feeling that I want to give you. So you be the judge and tell me: how is the camera quality? How is the stability with the front camera of both the Samsung Galaxy s21 plus and the Samsung Galaxy s21 ultra both are premium handsets. As far as I am concerned.

Yes, the photo qualities are pretty good that I have taken, and I'll share with you shortly. Uh, hey guys. This particular shot is taken from the back camera, a Samsung, galaxy s21 and Samsung Galaxy s21 ultra. These are actually handheld and are not on any tripods whatsoever. So what I'll do is just I'll just randomly walk through this particular video, so it will give you an idea that whether the stabilization works perfectly in both the cameras or not, and yes, what I'll do is that I'll? Let you see some scenarios over here and also yes, the sun is coming up, it's very cold over here in Kolkata in India, okay, my son is also over here.

Hi, prince, hey, okay, yes yeah, I'm in the roof of my particular building, and you'll. Be the judge. Tell me in the comment section below that: how is the quality according to you? So yes, uh the voting time for me according to me, if the bank for bucks is the one that I actually look for the most in any smartphones, yes, uh. If you are inclined to buy those expensive series, smartphones for the branding brand value of Samsung and also your inclined to the series of smalls or yes in other scenarios, s7 plus and s21 ultra, both are actually equally good phones according to me, but for the bank for the bucks. If you say I try to keep it short in this particular video, my vote will definitely go to the s21 plus the reason being, as I have told you separate up several times in the past, also that uh according to me, 95 percent, maybe 92 people actually shoot pictures in the mobile phones to share in the social media platforms and s21 plus does a good job over there.

It is does not uh. Obviously, the camera of s71 is much more refined. It has a much more detailing available in that in good challenging light scenarios. Also, astronomer does a good job, but I don't think a professional camera is something that you're looking for in your smartphones. It actually serves purpose to share pictures in a social media platforms, and in that perspective I should say that is: 21 plus is a bang for the buck, and even if you are trying to buy this particular phone to shoot YouTube videos for your channel, s21 plus, will do just a good job like the s21 plus.

Ultra will also do so that way, why spend that 26 000 higher price of a s21 ultra when you can get the same output in ice, 21 plus as well, actually not the same yeah near about the same output and s21, plus also the difference in the camera, module, 529, plus and s31 ultra? It's not that huge. In my opinion, so, yes, s21 plus, gets my vote for this particular round of the camera performance in s21 plus and the s21 ultra hope. So this video was helpful.
