Pixel 4a 5G unboxing & first impressions! #pixel4a5G #googlepixel By The Ghetographer

What's up everybody, it's your boy, the ghetto for aka, pastor, tech, back at you with another video- and this is another unboxing video, and today we're going to be unboxing. Is it just released yesterday, the pixel for T-Mobile, the Pixel 4a 5g? This is the Pixel 4a 5g has 128 gigabytes of memory um, it has 5g. So it's 4a 5g. It fits in between the 4a, the regular 4a and the pixel 5. So this will be the middle sibling of the pair, and I'm going to give you some specs before we get to the unboxing and you're dealing you're, um, sorry, um that you have an amulet screen with 400, it's um 1080 by 2340, which is um 413 for PPI pixels per inch um. You also have a snapdragon 765 g, which is the middle of the road snapdragon um.

It's not bad. You have six gigabytes of ddr4, I mean yeah ddr4 ram. Your rear camera is a 12 megapixel, dual pixel 1.8 mix, um width. You also have front camera 8 megapixels, your video is um 1080, 30 frames per second 60 frames per second 120 frames per second or 240 frames per second, that's video um. If I'm not mistaken, this also have 4k video as well on this, and it's a type c charger um it is has an um.

It has an um. It has the ENIM that you can download to it and has a regular sim. The only thing this doesn't have expandable memory- it's not waterproof um at all um and it is does have a fingerprint scanner on the back, and it comes in just one color black. But you know it is what it is um. I got rid of my, and I almost cried, but I got rid of my um Samsung Galaxy um, s20, ultra the s20 ultra, so let's get into it and see.

What's in the box, presentation is good they're, going with a minimalist type of um boxing experience. Now, because I got my note 20, and you see how thick this is. This was thick compared to this, so you can see which one is thick, so that lets me know, there's not a lot of stuff in this box, so they're just trying to go with uh, more um, minimalistic type of um, um, unboxing experience or minimalistic um way of doing things for right. Now, if you want today, I got my um my terminate my terminator salvation knife today to do the unboxing, so, let's get into the unboxing. Ah, here we go: hey go to phone! That's the phone! Nice clean presentation! Nothing up! Here! We have the paperwork.

Um! The sim ejection tools are back here. Some paperwork give me one. Second, everybody gives me one. Second, sorry about that. Uh we have the wire USB to USB, how long it is.

It also comes with an USB a to USB. So you can, I guess, when you transfer stuff over, you can transfer your stuff over, and it comes with a charging. Brick comes with a charging brick, a nice charging, brick nice charging, brick white, pretty good, there's nothing else! No headphones in this um! Nothing special in this one um! Now, let's get to the phone! Ah sorry, the plastic came off we're gonna. Ah, oh yeah yeah. So this is how it looks.

Very minimalistic. Very minimalistic got the fingerprint scanner on the back of it. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to pop my get everything set up, and we're going to turn it on, and I'm just gonna breeze through the OS a little and see how? I think one thing I can say about this- that I'm what I'm happy about, that it has um a headphone jack, bring back the headphone jack, bring back the headphone jack, bring back the headphone jack, because my note 20 ultra, don't even have a headphone jack. So I'm happy to see a phone that have a headphone jack, and I'm kind of excited, because this is my first time having a pure android experience. I've never owned a pixel I've owned the first second and third generation of iPhones.

From there I went to um, um android and from the android for my android experience. I've owned, HTC I've owned um, mostly all Samsung's matter of fact. I have found some hold on right there. So you all can know how far I go back. I found this the other day, the Samsung Galaxy.

That's how long I've been with T-Mobile. This is the this is the one of the not saying the original, but the Samsung Galaxy s. Look how small this is, so I've had this out. Look how small it is the original Samsung compared to this the original now hold on. Let me take my other Samsung phone out of the outer box.

Okay, so you can see how far this is the well that's the I had. I had note three four I've had all the notes, almost all the notes. This is how the size of size comparison for the s, the note 20 ultra for the Google Pixel and then, when you look at this, the one of the original. This is not the original. This is the Samsung Galaxy s, the galaxy s.

Look! How small did now compare this. Look at that look, how look how small it is, and I forgot I had this um in a box and I took it out, look how it looked. Oh, and this is the time- and this is the era when you had replaceable batteries. If I'm not mistaken, you could actually take the battery off. You had a replaceable battery.

I wish we can get back to the replaceable batteries, my god whoa, look at that put the top back on, hopefully, one day I'll, probably try to fire back up, but look, I'm going to go ahead and put my um my turn on the phone put my sim card on. Let me let's see if I can turn it on now, real quick, so we can when I want to well, it comes up with the Google on here boom. So what I'm going to do, I'm going to go ahead and let it boot up, let it do everything it has to do, and I will be back with you: get your nods. Get your energy drink, get you a coffee, iced coffee, whatever you have to keep you alert and live yo. I'm back everybody I loaded everything in, but I went out because they didn't get.

I couldn't get a case. Furthermore, I got a case. That's the only case they had as an exotic um spec case, so we're going to unbox this as well and um as it says, mil-spec meets military drop standards. We'll see about that. Well, I'm not trying to drop this phone, so we won't be seeing unless that's truly an accident, and we got it nothing unusual about it.

It just comes out. Nice rubbery got a nice um, nice feel to it. It was only like 30 dollars, so we're going to plop it in and boom it's in there, and you know it raises up from the face so that you can place it down. It won't get scratched up, and you know, since I loaded everything up in it here you go. This is how it looks and from my galaxy um my galaxy, I'm 20 ultra.

This is like very you know. More manageable, um almost came out my hand a couple of times because I'm not used to holding something um, so small or so thin. Um at this moment um. So this is how it looks. Uh we're going to see if I can um see if I can make a call with it.

Going to use the speakerphone, so you can see how it sounds we're gonna, give scrappy a call. Let's hear, scrap your ass on the speakerphone. Let's see how this does hello, hey scrappy! This is um. This is ghetto for AKK, aka, pastor, tech. I'm doing a video just wanted to test how the speakerphone sound, how the quality! How do I sound to you all right? What do you mean all right? I should be sounding good right now, brother, you sound broken up.

Really. Are you really I'm so the phone is that bad? I sound broken up. Yeah you're, like really broken. You really thank you I'll count that as yes, I sound pretty good. Thank you for answering my call, scrap all right peace.

So, as you can see, um speakerphone very well, the phone doesn't get bright. The phone does get bright. As you can see, the phone does get bright um. Now the screen is bright. Um.

When I went out to get the um the case, I did um take it and do a couple of pictures, and one thing I can say about um. As far as the picture, it took a lot a little longer to process than um. My note my Samsung um Galaxy Note ultra did, and I think that's because of the processor of the snapdragon processor. That's within this and the processing power, and again I might be wrong, but I am adoring and loving the let's see if we can get in interview. I am loving the headphone jack.

Do you know it's been a while, since I can do this hold on, let me find it: where is it at right? Here I can just plug come in here. I should have had this up ahead. Come in here, be able to unwind something put it on here and then go like this and be able to hear some good old-fashioned tunes without using a Bluetooth without using a Bluetooth, um, speaker or Bluetooth earphones. So I'm happily got it got a headphone jack in there. That means I get to listen to some good old-fashioned, music wired um.

I do still have my old wired headphones and wired um, um old wire Samsung's that I still have um that has the 35 millimeter headphone jack. So I'm loving that I'm actually loving that, and I mean just by the look of the phone and by the filler phone I like it. I love the screen, even though the screen is not as um it's not going to be like a 4k um 4k screen, but um just trying to, so I'm sorry something else on my mind but um from everything from the package I give it. I give it a b um. This is the middle child of the pixel series.

You have the pixel 4 a, have the pixel um five, and this is like the middle child of the um of the bunch um. It has the same camera modules as the pixel 5, so you're getting um the same type of pictures, you're getting um some excellent picture quality from what I hear um the computational photography on here is perfect. So I'm looking forward to testing that out and again this is my first time ever having a pixel phone having a pure android phone and from what I'm understanding you get like three years of um update, so um I should be one of the people or the people who have pixels should be one of the first people getting android 12 and things of that nature. So I'm looking I'm looking forward to putting it through the spaces and and and seeing um, seeing how everything goes, the screen um, I don't know if you can see, isn't it's not that I miss it. It runs smoothly for me and run smoothly um.

No one thing I'm having problems with is the gestures are different um, where I'm used to um when I'm used to taking my Samsung and doing different things like um to get to their um. You know the gestures are a little different um on the pixel, but I guess I have to hit that learning curve. So I like it um I like it, you know like the packaging, I mean like the um, the form, the form, the style of it, and it's its good I mean it is is well-built. I wish you could have gotten other colors, but I think the Pixel 4a um, the only one they had at the T-Mobile store, the pixel 4 a5g is that is um a black, that's all they had, and this is 5g. I think it's a millimeter wave uh, which that's supposed to be pretty decent um.

I tested out there took it with GPS and it and it, and it really did well um. Furthermore, I got to put it through his paces as far as how long it lasts me um, since I just I'm on my phone all the time, so I do like it, and before I go, I want to give it the good old-fashioned, smell test and see what it smells like. Give me one. Second, this smells like it has middle child problems. This smells like it's like, Malcolm in the middle mid-grade, mid-tier, not premium, but good enough to get you through hey.
