How to free up storage space on All Samsung Galaxy phones By Lenz Walters
Hi guys Lindsay- and in this video I am going to tell you how you can free up space on your Samsung Galaxy phone right. Well, let us go and analyze the storage right guys. So, as you can see, we only have 287 megabytes available and in knowing what is taking up most of the space at times is very hard. If you look at documents, if you also look at images and if you look at videos, audio and apps, none of those are actually taking a majority of the space. This is a 32 gig phone right guys. If we go advanced here, it will show us what is actually taking up most of the space.
The system is only taking up about 9.2 gigs right guys, so you should be able to have around 20 something it says, other apps, and it's about 20.5 gigs right, I'm getting to that. What is actually taking up most of the space is gallery guys gallery is taking up most of the space and let me explain to you guys right when you delete a picture. If you deleted a picture right guys, I'm going to delete this picture here, it will say, move to trash, so actually guys all that you are deleting off your phone and all that you are deleting off the gallery, the photos, the videos they are still on the phone and because they are still on the phone. Whatever you delete from gallery is still on the phone, and this is why we have 15.96 gigabytes they're, taking up space guys. Actually, it is because of the trash why this is taking up this amount of space.
So we need to clear the data. This will not delete the existing files that you have in your gallery. So once you clear the data, it will only delete all the information that are in your trash. So let's go ahead and clear. You can see that it reduced to 5.71 megabytes and that reduced from 15 gigs right, 15 gigabytes. So now we have a lot of space on the phone.
A lot of persons are facing this challenge and wondering what is actually taking up most of the space on their Samsung Galaxy aversion, and this can be for other phones as well other Samsung phones. So we just freed up about half of the space so guys you will want to check your gallery and if you look, I still have all of my photos. I still have all of my stuff here in my phone. This will not delete anything out of your phone. It will actually delete all the trash all the videos you have deleted.
You know that video files are mostly bigger times. You will want to check your gallery and delete your data from the apps' property. So once you go, you can go to advanced, you can go to other apps and when you go to gallery, we already clear up most of the stuff that was there. You go to gallery there, and you want to clear the data again guys this will not delete any of your photos. This is how you can actually get rid of files on your phone and, if you have been trying to clean up your phone, and you're not getting through.
