HUAWEI Mate 40 Pro Unboxing - The Latest Revolutionary Flagship in 2020

Oh, my god, it's the brand new Huawei Mate 40 series and Huawei has launched, which is exciting, and today I'm going to be showing you just everything that you need to know about the brand new Huawei Mate 40 pro today. I have with me the mystic silver, which has a beautiful matte finish. That is not only incredible to look at, but incredible to touch what Huawei calls the space ring design is said to represent the human desire to unravel the mysteries of the universe. It inherits the symmetrical halo ring design of the Huawei Mate 30 series, but then adds incredible texture, flair and style. You will definitely be able to recognize this device as the Huawei Mate 40 pro, even with a look from afar. So congratulations, Huawei and very well done on making such a beautiful product.

Now Huawei's smartphone design team has become world renowned for creating some incredible smartphone designs, especially when it comes to colors. Taking a look at two years ago, the Huawei p20 pro with its beautiful twilight color scheme, looks absolutely impressive. Two years later, the Huawei Mate 40 pro is an absolute marvel when it comes to the design- and you can see here as you turn the product underneath light you're, seeing this beautiful, mesmerizing aurora of colors. There are also two crafted vegan leather options available, which feature a beautiful mother-of-pearl center inside the halo ring design. Now on the front, the Huawei Mate 40 pro delivers an 88 degree.

Beautiful horizon display that literally expands from edge to edge of the device. The Huawei Mate 40 pro measures 6.76 inches in size, making it a little longer and wider than the Huawei p40 pro that launched earlier this year and the curves feel much better and fitting. If you find it a little too large to handle one-handed, don't worry, you'll get used to that and believe me, you'll love all the new space for your favorite content. The display has a 90 hertz screen refresh rate 240 hertz touch sampling rate and features ip68 water and dust resistance. The screen is incredibly responsive and built to withstand the elements.

The front camera is small but incredibly powerful. It features a time of flight camera. An ultra-wide lens and a posture sensor as well now I'm finally seeing the dual stereo speakers on the mate 40 pro at the top and the bottom of the device, and when making phone calls, there's actually an incredibly tiny gap on the screen at the top of the device in the center, which is used for outputting sound when taking phone calls, the mate 40 pro actually has physical volume keys, not only that, but also keeps the virtual tuner on the side of the device as well, which can interact directly from the edge. The virtual tuner can also be set to be used as a camera, shutter key or used for left and right gaming controls, for example, in PUBG. I get to play with four fingers.

I'm getting that chicken dinner now the Huawei Mate 40 pro features a brand new Karin 9000 chipsets. Now this Karin 9005g chipset is the world's first and only five nanometer manufactured processing chipsets, it's Huawei's current best 5g system-on-chip experience with the highest transistor density and the most sophisticating processing capability over 15.3 billion transistors. That's 30 percent, more than apple's latest a14 chipset the CPU clocks in at 3.13 gigahertz, and has a new three level architecture tailored for improved performance and energy efficiency inside you also get to experience the 24 core Mali g7, 8 GPU. It is a killer with 52 percent faster than that of the snapdragon 865 plus GPU performance. The mph scores over 140 000 in the AI benchmark, 4.0 ETH 2.4 times faster than that of the snapdragon 865 plus the power of the Kira 9000 chipsets is simply beyond words, and you can expect to experience incredible performance and efficiency from the Huawei Mate 40 pro. I really look forward to the next generation of Karin chipsets and best wishes to Huawei the mate 40 pro comes with a 66 watt, supercharged, adapter and cable out of the box.

It also supports 50 watt wireless supercharge and has a large capacity 4400 William battery. In my own testing, the 66 watt adapter that comes in the box can actually charge the Huawei Mate 40 pro from zero percent to 35, in as little as 10 minutes and from zero percent to 82 percent in just 30 minutes a full charge of the Huawei Mate 40 pro takes approximately 55 minutes, which is pretty impressive and much, much faster than the latest apple. iPhone 12 series, in fact, not only is the charging faster, but Huawei is still going to give you a charger, unlike apple's brand new latest trend of not providing a charger in the box. Now, let's get to the camera for those that love Huawei's, photography, the brand new Huawei Mate 40 pro has the Lacey ultravision cine camera experience with three excellent lenses: 50 megapixel super sensing wide camera the same as that in the p40 series, a 20 megapixel ultra-wide cine camera and a telephoto camera up to 10 times, hybrid zoom and 50 times digital zoom. It looks like there are four lenses on the Huawei Mate 40 pro circles, but, to my surprise, this one at the top right-hand corner, is actually a laser module for autofocus, not a TOF camera.

TOF cameras are mainly used for short range depth measurement such as focusing on short range objects and blurring backgrounds. However, with the brand new advanced camera system that Huawei uses, there's not really a need for a TOF camera thanks to their octopus autofocus solution with pixel technology and advanced algorithms inbuilt into the camera system. Now Huawei did launch an innovative function, called XD fusion, which was available on the faraway p40 series. Only when photo taking the Huawei Mate 40 pro delivers an upgrade to the XD fusion experience by delivering XD fusion HDR video. This basically means that at a hardware, level, HDR processing will now be applied to every single frame of the video capture experience, regardless of whether you're using the main camera, the ultra-wide angle lens or the front camera.

When video recording there's a steady shot feature for incredible image stabilization, so you won't need to worry about shaky videos, even when you're running or skiing. If you want to keep your fast moving subject in the center of the frame, you have tracking shot to help you out story. Creator is such a great way to shoot like a pro and all the six templates are easy to use, and the cinematic flair is simply gorgeous the ultravision selfie camera can also shoot 4k videos better, yet it can switch between 78 degrees, 90 degrees and 100 degrees automatically, when different people enter into the frame. Slow motion is now on the selfie camera too, at 1080p resolution and 240 frames per second, which means that time is slowed down to 1 8 of the normal speed. There's also this front and rear dual view.

Video experience for you to tell both sides of the story. Emu 11 comes pre-installed out of the box on the brand new Huawei Mate 40 pro, which is their latest company-owned software. That really does deliver a better experience. The official promise of the company around mui11 is that, even after 36 months of usage that the product will still deliver top of the line, performance and power efficiency all the way through your experience or journey with the product, general interactions have also been made smoother and smarter. The always-on display can now be set as a three-second animation.

Apart from the standard, Mondrian style AOD, where given more customization options, I can even create a new palette with the help of AI. Any GIF of my choice can also be set as the AOD. Actually, it doesn't have to be always on, but eyes on, which means it lights up. Only when I look at the screen when a call comes in a look from myself can lower the ringtone volume, and I don't need to keep touching the screen to prevent it from turning off just looking at it again and the screen will stay on. Air gestures is another one of my favorite features that is available on the Huawei Mate 40 pro.

Without any touch controls, I can light up the screen, scroll up and down or left and right on the screen. Answer a call or pause video or music playback. The Huawei Mate series represents the latest in futuristic, pioneering functions and features in this brand-new product and in the series in general and what I love is you know when you look at smartphones over the last 10 years. Most of the interactions are touch-based, whereas Huawei is pioneering and exploring new ways of interacting with the screen and the technology, such as hand, gestures and eyes on display. So that is a very brief introduction of the Huawei Mate 40 pro.

It really does deliver everything that I would expect to experience from a Huawei Mate series device in true consistency of the Huawei Mate series: DNA, the Huawei Mate 40 pro, delivers a beautiful, symmetrical design experience with an incredibly beautiful, vibrant large screen, as well as an incredibly large battery experience as well. I really love the surprise and delight functions or features that the Huawei Mate 40 pro delivers, including the new space ring design, the Karin 9005g chipset and the non-touch, or touch free, intuitive gesture experiences such as air gestures and eyes on display and the daily experiences the Huawei Mate 40. Pro delivers really does lift the bar when it comes to flagship smartphones from the dual stereo speakers. The 90 hertz refresh rate on the display, as well as the incredibly smooth and intuitive software experience and true to form Huawei continues to progress when it comes to camera technology on Huawei, smartphones, so fans. If it was up to me, I would give this product phone of the year.

Thank you so much for tuning in to this video. We hope you love it leave some comments below, and we'll see you next time. Bye.
