Google Pixel 2 Review: Is This The Best SmartPhone Ever?

Hey guys this is Keenan with Mickey sitcom, and today I'm reviewing the Google Pixel ?, it's one of today's best smartphones, but does it justify its enormous 650 dollar price tag? Let's find out along with the Google Pixel ?, you get a 15 watt power, adapter, a USB cable, an OTG adapter, a SIM card ejector and two manuals. You might notice that there is no included earbuds and that's because the pixel 2 lacks an audio jack. Well, manufacturers claimed that removal of the audio jack will lead to slimmer devices. The pixel 2 is only 0.2 millimeters, thinner than the Samsung Galaxy S 8, which includes a headphone jack in addition to wireless charging overall I'm not really sure why manufacturers are getting rid of the headphone jack other than that it seems to make smartphones less expensive. The pixel 2 looks perfect like most flagship smartphones. It includes a fingerprint sensor, a rear facing camera and a USB-C charging port.

It also has the same aluminum body and glass rear facing portion that the original pixel had, with the exception that the pixel 2 now features a plastic coating. Google refers to the coating as a metal hybrid, but it's not really metal. It's just basically plastic and well plastic does make it, so the phone is far less likely to come flying out of your heads. It also serves to trap heat in general. The phone starts to slow down a little when placed under heavy workloads, although the average user will definitely not notice that I've reviewed other phones with similar internal components is -.

Pixel ?, like the Samsung, Galaxy, S 8, and will phones with the snapdragon 835, are definitely faster than previous generations of smartphone. They are not 650 dollars better and, in fact, I would argue that the best feature of the latest smartphone processors is its cellular modem, with a pixel ? you'll notice that you get cellular reception and data in places where you normally had no connection whatsoever, and that generally translates into faster downloads. However, the difference is only about 10% better, but that can make all the difference between a dropped call and a stable connection. The battery life of the pixel 2 is about average for a 2017 flagship smartphone. Well, the battery analysis, app carat ranks it in the 88th percentile of all smartphones.

In truth, that translates into about a full day's use with a little left over at the end of the day, and there are also a lot of cheaper smartphones with much better battery life on today's market, particularly from manufacturers like Motorola. The real reason why you'd want a pixel 2 is because of the built-in Google Assistant and its outstanding camera. I'd say that the best feature of the pixel 2 is Google. Assistant Google Assistant allows users to hand free interact with their phone using just their voice. For example, I can turn my phone's flashlight on and off just by issuing the command words.

Ok, Google or hey Google flashlight on assistant, also understands contextual processing. So, if I ask it directions to the nearest supermarket and then amend that change that to the bank, Google Assistant seamlessly transitions to finding directions to the nearest bank compared to all its competition, particularly Samson's XP AI assistant Google Assistant, is without question the best personal assistant on today's market. Regarding the pixels' camera, it is a top-tier smartphone camera. However, pretty much all flagship smartphones have great cameras, there's only minuscule differences, and these are extremely subjective between each flagship, smartphones camera. What makes Google's smartphone cameras so much better than the competition is Google photo which combines the AI assistant features of Google Assistant with photo management and cloud storage.

For example, if you take a burst of photos, Google's assistant software, contextually analyzes each photo and can stitch it together into, for example, an animated movie with music or a GIF there's nothing quite like it on today's market and I. Consider it to be a killer feature of the pixel to that absolutely makes it worth buying over the competitors, and then, on top of that, you get free, unlimited cloud storage for all your photos at their original resolution. There are a few downsides, though, for example, the pixels Amina LED display, which is 1080, is susceptible to burning, like all plan displays. Well, Google did attempt to make their software a little more compatible with OLED technology. It unfortunately was limited only to a minor amount of theming on certain menus and most of the apps that you want that.

You install including system apps and google apps, like Google Maps, do not have an OLED friendly, dark mode. One of the worst features about the pixel is the fact that its navigation bar is still continually displayed and there doesn't seem to be any way to remove that without fundamentally altering the operating system. So should you buy a pixel ?, normally I'd, say you're, far, better off buying a less expensive phone, but the pixel ? made me change my mind and that's primarily because Google decided to extend the warranty life to a whopping two years, which is double its nearest competitor and then, on top of that it changed its firmware update policy from two years to three years, which again makes it the leader in firmware updates in the smartphone industry when you throw in Google Assistant, superior photo processing and unlimited cloud, backups I consider the pixel to be the best smartphone on today's market for most users, and that's it for this review for a full band review and instructions on how to win your very own Google Pixel ? smartphone. Please visit make use of calm.
