Hey there Alex Kidman with another unboxing and a bit of a first look at the galaxy zed flip 35g or if you're American, the Galaxy Z, flip 3 5g just announced this at its galaxy unpacked event. They sent me one just prior to that, and it's just arrived. So, let's open it up and see what we've got. This is the cream edition, I'm sure prince would approve and, as you can see, I haven't actually opened it, so you're going to get the whole exciting business of me slicing into it, do not accept if this seal is broken well, the seal is about to be broken, hey from a print stroke to a seal one. As with most of my unboxing, I'm not really scripting this so whatever happens, and I mean I think we can already see that, for example, there ain't going to be no charger in this box because uh that's the way modern fans, roll and so from the front I mean it looks like a galaxy phone. I mean it really does there's not a lot to say about that, but then, of course it's the back where it gets a bit more interesting.
Let's get this plastic off, I don't love the cream. I'll be honest, it wouldn't be my choice of colors, but then, if I'm being 100 honest, I would probably go for the fold over the flip. I tend to like that kind of tablet thing more than the foldability, but of course the party trick here is this business of being able to fold it up and look that feels nice and sturdy. Furthermore, I like some of the stuff that they've said they're doing with the um improved robustness, so it's got water resistance, although weirdly not dust resistance, and it's um got their armor, aluminum or aluminum again, if you're an American uh on the back, so it should be able to take you a few more drops and bumps and so on. You've still got that definitive little crease thing in the middle there, which look I'll have to wait and kind of play around with it and work out how to switch it on I'm presuming that is the power button I'm pressing there, although it's not a whole attack.
Oh there, we go um, so that will start up and that will start setting itself up, of course, um, but actually that crease is not so bad. As I said, this is absolute kind of first impressions, stuff um. Now one of the things actually I do like, and this sort of doesn't have anything to do with the physical aspect of it is the fact that if this is a cheaper foldable that Samsung's actually made the um, the flip 3 a more affordable model, they're still kind of premium priced, but that gap between this and the fold is a lot more pronounced now, and I approve that this gives this to me a lot more meaning to kind of exist. So I'm going to go off and do a little testing on this. I might throw some of that into the video as well, but if I don't thank for watching.
