Galaxy S20 Unboxing - What's Included!

This is it in this video I'm doing the unboxing of the Samsung Galaxy S 20, specifically I actually got the S, 20 plus and I did that for a few key reasons which we'll talk about a little later in the video. Thankfully, the contents of the box will be identical between the two devices. So hopefully this will give you a great idea of what comes included in your box for your Galaxy S 20, or s 20, plus opening it up. We have some packaging, and we basically just have the phone itself, along with shipping information, get that out of the way- and this is it the galaxy s, 20 +, 5 g, not a lot going on here. Pretty basic box I got the unlocked by Samsung model and the reason I did this is I can use this phone on any carrier. I wish.

We just have a little of tape on this corner here. We should now be able to get right into the phone, and this is it the galaxy s 20 plus I went with the cosmic gray, so you can kind of see how that looks, and let's just set the phone down off to the side. Furthermore, we can get into the rest of the contents. Now something sneaky that Samsung does. Are they put their instruction booklet in the top portion of the box? I, don't know why they do this, there's a little pull tab on the top, so you can pop this out on the back.

We have a sim eject tool, that's really important, and if we open this up, we should get yes, we have some paperwork here. This is all about the getting started, quick guides. We don't really need that. Oh, here we go. This device is packaged with a screen protector.

If you remove it and want to use a different screen protector, make sure it allows for use of all touchscreen features. I feel like I feel, like that's obvious Samsung, that should be a given and also in the box. I believe we have. You see here. Ok, bob an from the other side, we have some more paperwork and Wow.

I've seen people get clear cases with their Galaxy S 20 devices this is empty, I mean you can see straight through that there is nothing else in here. There is no clear protective case at all. Is that just because I got the unlocked model? I, don't know on Samsung's official website under the in the Box section you can see they do list a clear cover, which is the clear protective case. I was expecting to get but did not see, which brings us to the bottom of the page, where they do say that some listed components, including that clear cover, may not be available depending on the model you purchase or the country or region. You live in the unlocked one from Samsung that I purchased did not come with that.

So all you get is paperwork and your sim eject tray. Let's continue next in the box, we have a paper separator, and then we have our 25 watt fast charging brick, and you can see this is a USB type-c charging, brick which I really like and, of course fast charging is a huge plus going further. It looks like we have our USB type-c 2, USB, type-c, cable for charging and connecting your device. You can see. It is pretty long here it's about coming in at about 39 inches, so just over 3 feet, probably a 1 meter, cable, great, so good, acceptable, reach and distance for charging and connecting your new Galaxy S 20 device.

And lastly, in the box we have our headphones by AKG, and these do include multiple earbud tips, as well as an inline microphone and volume controls, and it is USB type-c, which is great for the phone. Unfortunately, it won't really work with laptops unless you have a newer laptop with USB type-c, but with older laptops, you'll either need some sort of adapter or preferably nicer, headphones and, of course. Lastly, we have the star of the show the Samsung Galaxy s, 20, plus itself, that plastic off and on the front we actually have that pre-installed screen protector, which I would like to keep installed to keep this device protected and looking beautiful. So there you go. This is really nice design, great construction.

Oh, we actually have some plastic rolling along the border of the device. Let's peel that off, it's actually surprisingly difficult. It looks like we have the same thing running along the top of the device as well. So this is it. This is Samsung's flagship device, the Samsung Galaxy s 20 specifically, this is the s 20 plus model and the reason I went with the S 20 plus is for a few key differences.

The biggest one is right: there 5g, the s, 20 plus supports both millimeter wave and low band 5g, so I can get 5g connectivity on both T-Mobile's lobe and 5g network, as well as Verizon's, okay, Simpson, so I can connect to T-Mobile's lobe and 5g network, as well as Verizon's millimeter, wave 5g network and test these speeds and performances between the two I'm quickly. Going to get this set up, and I'll point out some other key differences, and we're back the phone is set up. One thing I want you to know is: when you set up your phone, you get it out of the box. You just got a brand new 120 Hertz refresh rate display, but that feature is actually turned off so to enable that you're, just going to go to settings display, motion smoothness and I would highly recommend you try out that high refresh rate 120 Hertz, it's going to make the phone feel smoother faster and more responsive, and it's what you paid for, because these devices are expensive now. The other thing you may consider is in the display settings.

You also have an option for screen resolution if you do opt for the 120 Hertz refresh rate. Your maximum resolution is capped at 240 by 1080. However, if you do want to take advantage of the higher resolution display the full display resolution, you can opt for the quad HD, which is 3200 by 1440. This will revert the phone back to 60 Hertz, though up to you, if you want the higher resolution or the faster refresh rate, I would recommend the faster refresh rate and there you go. That is the galaxy s 20 plus now, let's do a quick recap of everything you get included with your galaxy s.20 you have your paperwork sim, eject tool, your 25 watt, fast charging power, brick, your one meter, USB type-c, USB, type-c, charging, cable, your AKG headphones, which are type C with an inline, remote control and microphone. You also have multiple ear tips to adjust the ear tips to your preferred size and comfort.

And of course you have your Galaxy S 20 itself. One thing totally missing is I did not get the clear protective case with my s 20, because I ordered it unlock directly from Samsung. If you order your phone from a carrier, you may or may not get one. The truth is I have no idea and I also just now noticed this small package in the box, and this actually is empty. So you get an empty package as well.

That's a nice little! That's a nice little perk there you go, the s20 is a pretty big phone and the S 20 plus I have here is even bigger, so I think it would be fun to do a quick size comparison test between the iPhone, 10s Samsung Galaxy s, 10 galaxies s, 20, plus pixel, 4, XL and iPhone 11. As you can see here, the s 20 plus is clearly the largest device. I do think it is a little more manageable in a hand, because it has some really nice kind of drippy side rails. In my opinion and to me, it feels nice solid and comfortable in the hand, whereas, if we look at say the Pixel 4 XL, this feels a little bigger and chunkier, and I personally find it a little harder to grip on to now in terms of usability, I would almost say the Pixel 4 XL is a little more manageable just because the screen is kind of easier for me to reach one-handed, whereas with the galaxy s 20, plus it's so big, just getting up. There takes a little of extra effort a little of shimmying around, so to speak, so there you go if you're, a pixel, 4, XL owner or one of friends, has a pixel for Excel.

Here you can see these size comparison again. The weight fit and finish of the s20 plus is really phenomenal. It feels great feels premium in the hand and that's something I do really like about it. Next up the iPhone 11, this has been a very popular phone this year. If one of your friends has an iPhone 11, you can kind of see how these two devices compare personally the iPhone 11 size.

It feels big to me and the S 20 plus feels absolutely massive, but because the S 20 plus just has those slimmer side, metal rails, for whatever reason that is feeling a little gripper to me than the kind of flatter curve on the sides of both the iPhone 11 and the Pixel 4 XL, comparing the S 20 plus to the S 10 of last year. Again, honestly, the S 10 for me is my ideal smartphone size. It just fits perfectly in my hand. Everything is manageable. Something I do really like about the S, 20 plus, believe it or not.

Is the power button placement it's a little lower, which makes it more ergonomic and actually easier for me to reach the power button and turn this phone on and off, whereas if I do the S 10 here, you can see, I have to really reach my thumb up to hit that power button. It was much too far away much too high on the s 10 model, but overall the S 10 for me is a better feel and perhaps the s 20 would have been better ergonomically for me, but again, I really needed that 5g connectivity, so I opted for the S, 20 plus and finally, the iPhone 10 s versus the s.20 plus I mean the s 20 plus Dwarfs. If I think literally, the entire iPhone fits within the galaxy screen. I mean look at that. That's nuts, so yeah its massive again with the side rails, for whatever reason the S 20 plus, does feel very drippy.

To me, this is something you could definitely check out in person, but the overall usability of the 10s- and this is the same size as the iPhone 11- is much more manageable for my hands personally, even though I do have big hands, but there you go I think that's a that's a pretty good size comparison. We can flip these over upside. You can kind of get a look at how these compare here. You go. Here's another look at the phone line up comparison s 20-plus is undoubtedly a massive phone I think it's a two-handed device for sure, but yeah there you go.

That's that's how it lines up. It actually has a very thick camera bump to. It looks like the thickest of the bunch here, but still a great design and honestly, because it has those slimmer, side, rails. I think the s 20 plus is easier for me to grip and hold on to you compared with these other devices like the iPhone 10s, the 11 and pixel for Excel, because they have thicker side rails that are more challenging for me to grip, but still s 20, plus absolutely a two-handed phone like there is no way to reach up and grab that. But there you go I think that's a fun comparison.

One last thing I want to mention is: if you are thinking of getting a new Samsung phone, the Galaxy S 10 may just be the best value galaxy phone. You can get right now, it's starting at four hundred fifteen dollars unlocked from sites like swap. Ah again, this is where you can get it gently used or refurbished. There are other sites in that similar 400 to 500 dollar price range and because of that I think the S 10 is the best value Samsung phone. You can get right now at under half the price of the S 20 and around a third of the price of the S 20 plus.

That's just my opinion links in the video description. If you want to check out any of these phones and yeah, please like this video, if you found it helpful, subscribe for more videos like this one, and I'll see you next time. You.
