So if you want to create your own website check out the link below and also the same link that I'm putting in the description at the same time, so last year, at the Apple event, time flies in September, we got two new iPads.

We were given the updated iPad 8th generation, also known as the iPad 2021 model, but we were also given a brand new iPad Air 4th gen or the iPad Air 2021 with a whole new design. Both of these iPads are amazing, but a lot of us are wondering what the follow-up models are likely to provide so for all the new iPad videos like this one you're watching going forwards, I'm going to give you the latest details on specific leaks. Then details of the plan release date time then the summary of the models that are going to be released with all their new features that we have learned in previous leagues after I'm going to reveal my wish list for the next iPad and iPad Air and also put in the comments below of what features you'd like to see in the next iPad and air, and maybe in my next video I may feature your comment and discuss my thoughts around it. So, let's talk about the display report for the new iPad Air, so a new report from digitize has come in saying that apple is rumored to be working on bringing an OLED display to the iPad Air in 2022. The first iPad expected to adopt an OLED display is going to be a 10.9 inch model and, as you can imagine, we believe this is going to be an update to the iPad Air. What was last updated, the end of 2020 apple does currently use OLED panels in a few of their other products.

Right now, for example, all the iPhone 12 models and apple watches use an OLED display that is supplied from Samsung right now, Samsung even use an OLED display in its galaxy s, tab line and also many of their higher tier TVs of a larger size. So this shouldn't be a problem to adapt to the iPad range either. We've also had a similar report from Ming chi quo, who has also mentioned the same thing that the iPad range will be getting OLED panels starting next year, and one of the iPads targeted is the iPad Air. Now next I've been saying this a lot in a lot of my recent videos, but just a quick note, with leaks being early and to be fair, any leaks even up to the iPad's release date that I find and show you guys. A lot of previous leaks for other apple products have come true, but there have been some that can sometimes get misinterpreted.

Based on the facts that the leakers have been told, I can only present to you what I've been told and shown no leak or rumor is a hundred percent. True until we see the final new iPads officially shown from apple, however, if you are like me, and you're watching this video, then you're as curious as I am in knowing what the next generation iPads are going to be like. I want to know what the latest leaks and rumors are no matter what they are telling us. So there are some new leaks for the iPad 2021 reports as well, and this is to do with the design, but I will cover this more in my next iPad and iPad Air video for release date. As already mentioned, we only got these iPads refreshed at the second half of last year, so not too long ago.

At the moment, the leaks are still a little in the air, excuse, the pun there, but it's looking likely that the iPad, 9th gen or the iPad 2021 may come out with a September or October release date with the iPad Mini. We suspect this by following history of previous iPad releases that do not happen in the first half the year, like at the spring, loaded that all other iPads releases generally are in September or beginning October time, so we're expecting the new iPad Mini and the iPad 9th generation to have a release date of this time when this exact release date is or leaked or leaks, are pointing towards an Apple event. For this time, we can give you the exact day, you'll be able to get your hands on the new iPad 2021 model for the iPad Air. It's a bit different. Some leaks are pointing towards an early 2022 release date due to some changes with technology with the screen.

If this is the case we'll be expecting to see an Apple event in March or April time, but most likely at the moment, the release date is going to be in April 2022. However, again, if there are any changes near the time, I will update you with the planned release date, also, at the same time, if apple plans to scrap those changes with the actual screen, it's a possibility that we still may also see the iPad Air at the end. Half of 2021, with those leaks and release, dates out of the way. Let's move on to a summary of everything we know so far, that previous leaks have painted a picture for the iPad, 9th generation and the iPad Air 5 with their prices as well, so starting with the iPad 9th generation, the one that's looking like it's come out in 2021. It will have that brand-new design or that modified design of a 10.5 inch LCD wrestler display with a resolution of 1224 by 1668 and will be a 60 hertz refresh panel inside that screen. This screen has been already used before, like I said in the second generation, 10.5-inch iPad Pro, and it was also put into the iPad Air third generation for storage. It is looking likely to keep things basic.

We will be getting a 64 gigabyte option this year up from the 32 gigabyte option, but there will also be a 256 gigabyte storage option as well to choose from for chipset. It is looking likely that we'll be getting an a13 bionic with the latest leaks that we've been hearing, but we will still be maintaining that 4g connectivity inside the actual iPad 9th generation. If you pick the cellular option, there'll also be three gigabytes of ram. That aluminum body was very familiar on iPads like this. There will also be a touch I'd button on the front and then again, there'll be a single camera on the rear will be an 8 megapixel and then a 7 megapixel selfie camera on the front for battery size.

It is likely that it will be an 8 134 William battery, then for price is looking likely that for that 64 gigabyte option, it will retain that same price. We have right now at 329 us dollars, and also we're going to get that bump up to 256 gigabyte option as well, and that also that would probably retain the higher option that we have of the eighth generation at 429 us dollars. However, this is all kind of leaks and information that we've been told at the moment, so this could change this pricing structure next for the iPad Air fifth generation, it's going to be very similar to what we have right now, but with a few tweaks and changes, we're going to be getting a 10.9 inch. OLED Dr display this time, and this is a new type of screen technology that apple are looking into, and it's very similar to the kind of technology we get on the iPhone pro models and also all the iPhone 12 models. It will be an OLED Dr display, and the resolution of this display will be the same.

We have right now of 1640 by 2316. Asus' display is actually going to be given by Samsung and a lot of their s-line model tablets have a very similar display, we're going to be getting an upgrade to a pro motion display, so 120 hertz, refresh rate on the iPad Air for the first time for storage options, they're going to be very similar to what we have right now, so a 64 gig and a 256 gigabyte storage option inside the iPad Air 5th gen, it's very likely we'll be getting the a15 bionic, will be an increase on power on the a14 and will also be getting 5g connectivity for the first time in an iPad Air. There will also be 4 gigabytes of ram aside and also an aluminum body. There will also be a touch I'd power button like we have right now and then for the first time there will be a dual camera setup on the rear, but it's still a question: if we're going to be getting the LIDAR sensor and then on the front, though, we should be getting that center stage, selfie camera setup. But again, when we get more information about the actual camera setup, I will change these details on here.

Accordingly, for battery size, as the model shape is going to basically be the same, the battery size is probably going to stay the same as well. At 7606 Williams for price range. It's going to be a little more of an increase because of that new OLED display, so it'll be 699 us dollars for the 64 gigabyte model and 256 gigabyte model it'll be 849 USD, so that is a summary of the new iPad and the iPad Air. However, for my thoughts and wishes, my wish is actually to do with the iPad, 9th generation, and it's to do with the port on the bottom to be changed to USB. I think, as more and more Apple devices use USB ports now.

I just think it makes sense for all the iPads now to have that same port on the bottom. Also, the fact you could plug in storage had devices and hubs far easier than using an adapter, and I think that would be my ultimate wish. But let me know your thoughts if you agree with this or not and write in the comments below what your wishes would be for the new iPad, 9th generation and also the iPad Air fifth generation.
