Gionee Elife S5.5 hands-on | Engadget at MWC 2014

Hey guys its rich light Engadget, and we are here to check out the gone s 5.5, and it's arguably one of the best. Looking phones, we've seen at Mobile World Congress so far and as you can tell from the name, it's only five point: five millimeters thick and it's made of aluminum with Gorilla Glass on both the front and the back sides. The screen you're looking at here is a 5 inch, full HD AMOLED display. So the colors are pretty good, looking here, very vibrant and then there's also a 5-megapixel front-facing camera and a 13-megapixel back camera. Here, there's actually a slight bulge here, but it doesn't stick out too much. So most of the body is still sticking to be five point: five millimeter thick specification, even though it's a very slim body, we've been told there is a 2,300 William hour battery inside the phone is running on a MediaTek OCTA core chip running out at 1.7 gigahertz. So it's both powerful but at the same time, should be quite efficient as well.

In terms of software, you can actually see this is running on June's customized Android, specifically, this is Android.4.2 point2, you can see the skin is actually surprisingly nice. Cs 5.5 will be available soon for around three hundred and seventy-five years dollars. Sadly, we won't be seen this in the US, but you be able to get it in China and the Middle East and Southeast Asia countries ice we've seen some loud phone announcements at MWC, but this is something a little quieter. This is the black phone, a phone which claims to be the first and.
