Apple Watch Series 2 - Unboxing and First Look

Arroyo Tech and Apple has released a new Apple Watch now. I got this the day that the iPhone 7 + & 7 came out, and I was originally going to do. An unboxing video like I, normally do, but then it didn't turn out so well, and I wasn't so sure, really who was even interested or who cared about the Apple Watch. So let's go ahead and open it up. I did open it, but I've actually not used it. It took me four tries to actually pair this thing.

Let's open it up, the insides are basically the same as the other one. In fact, it's extremely hard to tell the two apart you'll see it comes with this band same band, I have here the black sport band. This is the series 1 steel watch, just a couple instructions things like that and here's the watch itself. Let's pull this out, you'll see the accessories or just like before same exact thing. This is just the white puck.

You don't get the silver one unless you get the steel or above and basically the designs are the same. In fact, I actually thought I ordered the nylon band this time and I didn't buy accident. So let's pop this out of here- and this is I- mean it's pretty nice- it's built just like before and honestly. The only way to tell this apart is the back. So, let's take this off and on the back you'll see it says, Series two, that's really the only way to tell that.

That's a series to watch. Otherwise, the casing is the same and everything insides a little different. So this looks really. Nice comes in a 38 or 42 millimeters and comes in at 369 or 399. Now they got it got rid of, at least for the most part anyway.

The gold Apple watches and replaced it with ceramic, but the ceramic is $1300, not ten thousand to almost twenty thousand, so you've got a 13, 1200 or 1300 dollars ceramic watch. If you want that, and now you've got the cheaper sport watches the steel. One is still there like this and then the ceramic one. Now this is basically the same as the other one, except for they've changed the processor inside to a new s2 chip. So it's a s2 dual-core chip.

It honestly feels faster most of the time, but not all the time. It's kind of weird that way, they've also made it water resistant up to 50 meters. So that's that's pretty impressive. It's meant to be swum whether you could go swimming with it or go diving or anything like that. It also has a built-in GPS.

The screen is 2 times brighter, and it's got this fascinating idea for the speaker when you're in water. Obviously you need a speaker, but it's not going to work, but when you come out of the water, the speaker will vibrate and eject the water out, and I believe that's a setting in here. I haven't tried it personally, so we're waiting for it to boot up and the Apple Watch still feels float up from time to time. I've used it for a little anyway and have any extended amount of time and I have to admit I'm, not a huge fan of the watch. In fact, I hardly use this any more I, usually let my dad use it and I don't wear, watches normally I just use it for these videos and that's about it.

So this one I thought I ordered the nylon band. I had ended up ordering the sport band by accident and that's not too big of a deal, probably just return it and maybe get the other one I'm, not sure, so. We'll wait for it to boot. Up still booting up, and really the build quality is the same high quality feel as the other one. These bands slide in and out the sensors on the bottom of the same.

This is ceramic, and it's pretty much the same there. Let me unlock it now, you'll see the watch faces or there's some new ones. You've got the force press and nothing spectacular. Now. This does lag from time to time, though, for some reason it's still a little slow you'll see it responds, and then it doesn't respond.

It's not responding at all. You do have the little control panel drawer down here. Just like you do on your phone now. That's part of watch OS 3, but you'll, see it stutters and lags from time to time and doesn't respond. I can't just quickly swipe through things, although these watch hand keeps going there, we go see if we can get back to our other faces here.

So sometimes it's great other times. It's not. It does look brighter. Furthermore, it looks good but, like I said, I'm not sure if it's a big enough leap. Furthermore, it's trying to check my heart rate there with those sensors and right now, I'm, just not really impressed it's great now for people that are into fitness.

This is a fitness band with a watch. It's no longer a watch with Fitness, and it really needs to compete with things like Fitbit and those that you can certain other ones that you can swim with, and things like that. It's got some really great features like I said the GPS, but that's pretty standard for Fitness watches too and honestly. I wasn't sure. I would make this video, because not many people showed interest in a new Apple Watch and that's really why I wanted to make these videos to show you it, but then ask your opinion on it.

Is it something you're even interested in? Do you care about the Apple Watch? Do you think they should do something else? Maybe you think they should get rid of the Apple Watch, or maybe you love the Apple Watch I'd love to hear what you have to say in the comments below there's, not much more to say about this: it's basically last year's model with a bumped up, processor, waterproofing and a GPS other than that and a little bump in a processor speed, but other than that, not a huge upgrade. The design, maybe they'll change it every two years, just like an iPhone or three years now, like this phone. Let me know what you think in the comments below what you really think of this watch or Apple Watch in general, maybe you're using a Fitbit, maybe even a Microsoft band. Let me know in the comments below, if you haven't subscribed already, please subscribe and like as always thanks for watching this is Erin I'll see you next time.
