Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max vs OnePlus 8 Pro! | VERSUS

Hi there, my name is Sam from versus and welcome to the new comparison, video between the iPhone 11 Pro max and the OnePlus 8 pro. These are the two high-end flagships from both companies, but which phone outperformed, the other, can the more affordable, OnePlus 8 pro keep up with the high-priced competitor from apple. That's what we will find out in this video. Let's start straight away with our first review. Let the facts speak design. The iPhone 11 Pro max with apple's signature, glossy and matte finish- has a very high end, look and feel to it.

The treble cameras are well positioned in the upper left corner on the back of the phone. The smartphone weighs 226 gram, and it's roughly 15.8 centimeter long 7.78, centimeters wide and 0.81 centimeter deep. It has apple slightly connector and is ip68 rated. So it's water and dust resistant. The iPhone uses the face recognition technology to unlock the phone, the face ID works perfect at daylight, and also good in a weak light environment.

The OnePlus 8 pro has a clean design with a matte finish. The quad camera system is well positioned on the upper center on the back of the phone. When you look at the camera system of the iPhone, you notice that it sticks out a little which isn't a big issue, but the camera system of the 8 pro, on the other hand, sticks out a lot which creates an issue when you have it laying on a table. The smartphone weighs 199 gram, it's roughly 16.53 centimeter long, 7.44, centimeter wide and 0.85 centimeter deep. It has an USB connector and thanks to an ip68 rating, it is finally water and dust resistant which previous models weren't.

The eight pro uses face recognition technology and a fingerprint scanner which is built onto the screen to unlock the phone, the face recognition, technology works perfect at daylight, and also good in a weak light environment. Once again, we all have different tastes, but in our opinion, there's hardly any phone that could keep up with Apple iPhone's design. OnePlus did a good job on their end, but the iPhone just looks more like a high quality phone. Do you agree, or do you like OnePlus design? More than that of the iPhone, let us know what you think in the comments below we'd love, to hear your opinion display. The iPhone 11 Pro max has a 6.5 inch display with a 2688 x, 1242 pixel resolution. It uses an olive screen to create very natural colors.

The 6.5 inch display, therefore, measures 16.5 centimeter diagonally, with a pixel density of 458 PPI. Since this phone was released in 2019, it doesn't have the 2020 must-have of a 120 hertz refresh rate. The 8 pro has a 6.78 inch display with a 1440p resolution. It uses a very bright olive screen which creates very accurate colors. The 6.78 inch display, therefore, measures 17.2 centimeter diagonally, with a pixel density of 513 PPI. Whether a picture looks fluid or not depends on the refresh rate and a feature that every flagship got to have in 2020 is a high refresh rate.

The OnePlus 8 pro has a high 120 hertz. The point for the display goes to the OnePlus 8 pro it is bigger. It has a higher resolution and pixel density and has a much higher refresh rate, but keep in mind that the iPhone was released one year ago. The only thing that the iPhone display has what the 8 pro doesn't at the force touch capability performance. The iPhone 11 Pro max is equipped with apple's latest a13 bionic chip that comes with two times: 2.65 gigahertz and a four times 1.8 gigahertz capacity. The phone has 4 gigabytes ram and the individual models offer different storage capacities.64, 256 and 512 gigabytes are available. Dodge capacity, unfortunately, cannot be expanded, as it is typical for Apple iPhone devices.

This version of the OnePlus 8 pro has 256 gigabyte internal storage capacity. It is equipped with a superfast Qualcomm, snapdragon, 800, 65 chips with one time 2.84 gigahertz and three times, 2.42 gigahertz and four times 1.8 gigahertz and has 12 gigabyte ram, there's also an 8 gigabyte ram model with an internal storage capacity of 128 gigabytes available. This storage capacity unfortunately cannot be expanded. The specs alone make the CPU of the OnePlus 8 pro stronger than that of the iPhone. The 8 pro even beats.

The iPhone's ram a solid 12 gigabytes compared to 4 gigabytes, but let's take a closer look and benchmark which smartphone really comes out on top, because the software also determines the speed of the phone. We installed the benchmark app on 2d on both devices, which was measuring the performance of software and hardware combined the OnePlus 8 pro according to the benchmark outcome, wins here in terms of performance camera, the a-pro has four main cameras: the primary and right camera with 48 megapixels, a telephoto camera with 8 megapixels and a color filter lens camera with 5 megapixels. You can find the front camera in the upper left corner of the screen in the so-called whole punch notch. Its resolution is 16 megapixels, the OnePlus 8 pro records 4k videos at a maximum of 60 frames per second. It also has image stabilization for video.

The iPhone 11 Pro max has three main cameras. All three cameras have a resolution of 12 megapixels. The front camera's resolution is 12 megapixels, the iPhone 11 Pro max records, 4k videos at a maximum of 60 frames per second also has image stabilization for video specs wise, the OnePlus 8 pro is ahead, but we will find out if that's really the case in our review of how the camera takes daytime pictures. The pictures taken with the iPhone 11 Pro max seem to be quite sharp in focus and the color raining is good. Pictures taken with the OnePlus 8 pro are equally sharp and color running is also good.

In case of the front camera we actually couldn't decide which we like more. They equally took really sharp images. The 11 pro Marx has a two-fold optical and a 10-fold digital zoom feature. The 8-pro has a 3-fold optical and a 30-volt digital zoom feature, even though that the specs predicted that the 8 pro would win in this category, we think that the iPhone's camera system still performs better. Both phones can work out slow motion, video with 240 frames per second in full HD.

The 8 pro can even record 480 frames per second at 720p compared the videos. Look pretty similar since the smartphone camera is the one camera that we are always honest. It is one of the most important factors when buying his phone. Both smartphones feature excellent camera systems. Overall, the OnePlus 8 pro cameras have better specs, and this point therefore, should go to the 8 pro, but we decided to give the point to the iPhone because we think it still takes better.

Looking pictures battery the iPhone well fully charged has 3900 William hours. On the other hand, the OnePlus, when fully charged, has 4510 William hours in terms of capacity the OnePlus 8 pro should last longer. We will see in the comparison whether that's really the case the 8 produces out in this comparison, mostly it's due to the larger screen and the 120 hertz refresh rate the battery drained faster than that of the iphone lasted long on our day-to-day test. This point goes effort to the iPhone because longer screen time and everyday usage at the most crucial issue, but we also got to say that the batteries of both phones lasted easily a whole day of normal usage. It always depends on the way you use your phone and the setting to use it.

In conclusion, ok, it's conclusion time. Let's see which phones got the most points, the iPhone scores in terms of design, because we think it looks more like a high quality phone. The winner in terms of display, is the OnePlus 8 pro. As for performance, the iPhone comes second, because OnePlus, it's just extremely powerful, but in defense the iPhone was released one year ago and still had a perfect result in our benchmark test. The point for the camera goes to the iPhone.

It simply takes slightly better pictures, even though the a-pro specs suggest something different. The final point for the battery life goes to the iPhone because it came out on top of our everyday usage test. The iPhone therefore beat the OnePlus 8 pro by points. Naturally, we review more than these five categories. If you want to see the full comparison, follow the link here to our website, you can compare up to seven different smartphones at versus.
