What's up YouTube's a few on super soft TV, and this is the fingerprint scanner speed test between the Google Pixel and the iPhone 7. So I did a speed test between the pixel. Only seven plus earlier today and literally every other comment was requesting to do a fingerprint scanner. Speed test, so I know there may be a very minor difference, and it's not for everyone. But clearly there is a lot of you who do want to see this video and, if you're, somebody who doesn't want to see it, then this video is Kaylee labeled as well as the thumbnail, so you don't have to watch it. If you don't want to now that that's out of the way, let's get straight to the comparison now we have fingerprint scanners in different positions here on the pixel.
It is at the back of the phone it's capacitive, and this is similar to what we had on the Nexus 5x and 6p on the iPhone 7 and 7 plus you still have a fingerprint scanner. The home button touch ID, but this year is not a physical button. It's a capacitive button now which one of these positions is better. That's going to come down to your personal preference in this video, we're specifically looking at speed so in order to make this test as far as possible, I'll film these separately and then sync them together. Just the point where my finger or thumb hits the B button and also to be able to see the pixel, unlocking I am using a mirror.
So, let's get straight to it, so, firstly, from the standby screens going after 3 to 1. Now that was very close, but it was a clear win for the pixel, in my opinion, so let's slow this down, and you can see that, although we spot seeing the screen fast on the iPhone 7 plus the pixel does finish loading faster now. What about from the lock screen? So, let's test this out once again faster on the pixel so slowing this down. You can see that both of them wore in sync and the pixel did finish loading fast now. I know.
Some of you are going to be saying that the animations are slowing the iPhone 7 down, and that may be the case. So what I'm doing is reducing any kind of motion or animation that I can find in the setting. So this is in the developer options of the pixel, and it's in the accessibility settings of the seven-plus. It may not make much of a difference, but just so we are clear and making this as various physically possible so from standby. Once again, that was very, very close, so looking at it in slow motion, you can see both what ouch at the same time and the pixel wins yet again and now from the lock screens very close there.
So we will slow this down and that was another clear win for the pixel. So there we have it. The fingerprint scanner speed test between the Google Pixel on the iPhone 7 I think it's safe to say that the pixel does unlock fastest. The win here would have to go a to the Google Pixel, but nevertheless there is a very, very minor difference and I. Don't think it's going to be too much of an issue either way, I think it is going to be more about the positioning of it and which one you prefer, which one do you prefer drop me a comment below and let me know your thoughts.
