Why I'm Selling My Razer Phone - Part 2

Hey guys it's right here from our local 12, an epic droid, comm, and I'm here today, with a slightly different video than you're used to from number one. Big reason is because this video is 100% shot on my pixel to excel my camera recently busted, and I'm not able to record any videos on it right now. Alright, since I can record video just no audio, so I'm doing it on my pixel to excel so that I can go ahead, and I can make this video. This video is also completely unscripted. Normally, when I go on, and I start making a video I make it with an outline that I'm either going to follow where I do it specific script? I didn't do that with this one, just because honestly I'm a little triggered from some comments that I've gotten on a video recently, and I felt like I needed to respond to those comments. Those comments were on my video, where I told everyone I am selling my razor phone I got my razor phone in November 2017 I, promptly started using it and I enjoyed it.

It is a good phone. I repeat, it is a good phone. I would even say it's a great phone, but it is not the right phone for me, and I am getting rid of it. For a couple of different reasons. In that video, where I said, I was selling the razor phone I had people tell me, I was a had them tell me: I was an idiot I had them tell me.

I was a blanket blank blank blank, but my biggest issue with the razor phone and the thing that people picked up on the most was that I said. The razor phone is too much phone. What do I mean by too much phone? Well, what I mean is it has all of these specs, but it doesn't actually do anything. The razor phone has eight gigs of memory. It has a 120 Hertz refresh rate.

Has the Snapdragon 835 processor that is capable of lightning-fast speeds. This bone is an absolute beast, it is a powerhouse, and it can do just about anything unless I'm wanting to play some basic games, there's really not a lot there. Yes, there are games like bane glory and hearthstone, and a couple of other games that you can do on there and, yes, those are a lot of fun, but none of those games require the types of specs that the razor phone has here. I have another device. This is the Nvidia shield tablet.

The Nvidia shield tablet was almost four years old. It was released in July 2014 I got it I think it was in September 2014, and I paid $250 for it, as you can see, there's a couple of different things on it that are quite a bit different from the razor phone, the first being the fact that it's a 7-inch tablet. This is a 5.7 inch display. Nvidia shield tablet comes with 2 gigs of memory. The razor phone comes with 8 gigs.

This comes with the Terra x1. This comes with the Snapdragon 835 120 Hertz, refresh rate. This also has a much better screen. You would think that this is a superior device. You would think that this could do everything that the shield tablet could do what you can't.

The shield tablet is an awesome tablet and I. Absolutely love this thing and I love it so much that I could have ? there's another one right there, but the shield tablet can do so much more than the razor phone can straight out of the box. You have the ability to play games like portal, doom 3, BFG edition. You have half-life 2. Furthermore, you have final station ultimate chicken horse.

Furthermore, you have Borderlands 2 and just, which is a side-scrolling platformer that my son is obsessed with, but you have all these different games that are available in the shield tablet through the Play Store that are not available on the razor phone. Now Nvidia probably has some type of contract or something saying that those devices can only be listed on the Play Store for shield tablet or other shield device compatibility. That is a total possibility. I bet you. If we wanted to, we could get the APK files, and we could sign tho them on the razor phone.

But that's beside the point, and even then that's not all that the shield tablet can do with its two gigs of memory, and it's old, 4-year-old processor. So GeForce now allows you to connect to this awesome, Bank or set of powerful servers that Nvidia runs and makes available to their end users. Yes, there is a subscription fee for it, but it's a very low price I think of $10 per month, so not expensive. In the least with that subscription you have access to play. Games like no man's sky, Just, Cause, two wakers, two and three you can play you can play hitman.

You can play Bios hock, 1 and 2. You can do any of the Batman Arkham games. I can do Dead or Alive 5. You can do Tomb Raider all the tomb raiders, including the mm 2013 or 2015 reboot. You can do Warhammer, 40000, Space, Marines and so many other games, but you can't do any of that on the razor phone.

That's my gripe with the razor phone. It's a $700 phone that can beat anything else on the market as far as specs go, but I have a four-year-old tablet that was 250 dollars that can do so much more than the razor phone or any other device can do. That is why I'm selling my razor phone I have to shield tablets that do the job of the razor phone. They do it amazingly well, and the razor phone is really just a phone that can do a few little games here and there that's my complaint. So just one last piece of clarification, the razor phone is an awesome phone and I would keep it if it could do.

What my shield tablet would do. I would keep the phone and I would use it, and it would probably be my primary device and I would probably use it for an extended period of time. A lot longer than I keep my primary devices for I'm, always changing devices. Because I always have new ones that I need to try out, but the razor phone would probably be my primary device for a long time. I can't wait for the razor phone to come out because I want to see what razor do I am rooting for razor, and I am hoping that they are successful in making a device that can do everything.

My shield tablet can do the only way I won't get. The razor phone too, is if Nvidia comes out with a phone before them so long story short. Do I recommend the razor phone? If you were a gamer who values high-end specs, yes, get the razor phone. Do I recommend the shield tablet? If you were a gamer that wants to play games, I recommend the shield tablet. Even four years later, three and a half years later, I still recommend the shield tablet.

Both are great devices, but they are made for two different types of people. You should check out. Both devices I'll have links to both the reviews that I did on both devices in the video description down below, have links to where you can order them or where you can get more information if you're interested in them. If you have any questions about either device or anything else under the Sun feel free to hit up in the comment section down below answer those questions as we are available. If this video has been helpful to you, please remember to give us a thumbs up and share it with your friends and, as always, just want to tell you guys.

Thank you for watching. Thank you for all your support, and you all have an awesome day.
