TCL 10L Video test (How good is the 4k?) By BTech Reviews

Hey guys this is Mike from be tech reviews, and today we test out the camera and video on the TC l, 10 L, hey guys, welcome back to my channel. So today we take a look at the TC l, 10 L. Now I wanted to focus mostly on the camera in this video and not so much picture taking because I have taken pictures of this and I think it has a pretty good, solid camera. As far as picture taking goes, the only thing is, it probably doesn't take pictures good and low light as much as I want it to, but that's, okay, that you know you can't expect a lot of you know low light capabilities from a budget phone, especially one under $300, which in this case this phone is $250, but I really wanted to focus on video, and today I went out and took some video footage of this of the actual like camera and what it can do. It's a 48, megapixel high resolution camera. According to this, it does have stuff like a macro lens and whatnot, but let's go ahead and get the know the footage going of what I took, and then we'll see for yourself, if you guys, like the actual footage, hey guys.

This is the video of course now I'm out here at the convention center area. There's no one here right now, just because it's a lot of I guess it's midday and some pictures, hopefully I don't get kicked out. There were no areas or sign, saying: there's no public allowed so again, I'm testing out the front-facing camera I am walking just so that you guys can kind of get kind of a visual. It's very sunny outside, so I'm out here in the shade and I just really wanted to kind of give you guys a visual of what the front camera is going to look like again if I turn the camera around the background is going to start I'm gonna, either wash out or the backgrounds gonna start washing out so again front facing camera will shoot in 10, 8, alright, so front facing camera, actually shoots in 1080p I. Don't have a tripod or anything mounted, so I'm, just gonna kind of lay it on some items here and right now we are all right.

So what you're seeing here is a shot in 4k at 30 frames. A second here is the McAllen Performing Arts Center, which you guys are from the area you'll be very familiar one shooting in 4k there is a little of a crop though, but the cool thing is I. Guess I can actually I can zoom in more so like this tree, for instance, in the middle here, I can zoom in, and I can do in two times, and then I can go back, which is a pretty cool feature again like. Let me see if I can get a little more detail here, for you guys what's going on again. This is 4k at 30 frames a second, so you see movement there stuff going on I'm a little away from the water over there.

So I'll try to get a few shots in 4k of the water. Here, it's really sunny right now, so I'm trying to stay away from that area. There's a sign and then there's a bunch of palm trees blowing in the air, okay, here's another shot in 4k, and again I'm just trying to get as much detail as I can on certain little items here. You know I took pictures with this when I was in San Antonio a couple of weeks ago, and it takes perfect pictures. If you guys follow me on Instagram, look, look up, be tech, underscore reviews on Instagram, and you'll see the picture quality on it, but I really wanted to kind of get a feel.

What the video quality of this you know specific devices. It does shoot and pork egg and this video, specifically in 4k, so I kind of want to get as much out of that as possible with the 64 gigs of internal memory. Hopefully he doesn't. Hopefully it doesn't clog it up, and it does have an is our internal stabilization involved in it continuing to shoot in 4k at 30 frames a second it's hard for me to see. But again this thing is supposed to happen.

Yeah, yes, I! Don't know if this is enabled with 4k, because I know that there's a few things that's seen if I can zoom in under on the duck there again, it's broad daylight right now, so sticking a bang stick his head in right, so I'm actually shooting again at 1080p 30 frames a second here and she kind of wanted to get the detail on specific items. Here, let's see here, it's a nice pretty day a little of overcast from the rain, and I'm just usually interested and intrigued by these devices. So, so far, I've been very impressed by the TCL branded phones. Again they make other phones like Alcatel BlackBerry devices, so they're not new to the phone market by any means, but yet they're starting to want to branch out and ran their own devices, which I understand like it's completely fine I think that $250, this phone is really impressive. Now, of course, each phone is gonna, have its quirk and features you're going to get little things that you're not gonna, get with other devices.

Obviously, well they get look at the detail in that you're gonna probably hear a little of wind noise, but again look at the detail on that, and again I'm like I'm, just getting as close as I. Can you can kind of see the little the leaves and one I like the detail on the leaves, and even in the tree like if I were to just zooming into the tree here you can see all the little details and then, if I were to just pan out here, so the rest of everything, it's going to look good, so I think the colors on the device that wrote it really well, and you can tell that they're doing some construction over here low light on the video is not great. Absolutely you know it's not going to be like the 10. It's not gonna, be like the 10 Pro, where it has like a low light mode, but you know for $250. You really can't go wrong on this device, and I'm gonna I'm going down this thing by the way, guys, hopefully I, don't fall or slip because it's not the stairs.

But anyway, you know for 250 dollars. You really can't go wrong on something like this or if you decide to spend the 450 on the know, on the TCL 10 Pro, you know, you're going to have just a little more features than you would have with the one thing I'm I am NOT. A fan of is really the crop on the front facing Center the front facing camera, especially when you're working video again I, don't have a tripod with a with an extender. So right on me right now, so I'm just holding it there hand- and this is me holding it bare hand as far as I can get it, and it doesn't look bad, but it is only great either. You can see that other than my fingers starting to cover the camera.

So again you know take it, take it what it is guys. This is the TC l, 10 L I've had other people on my channel say: well, people don't care about CCL as a brand. As far as the phone goes, but I mean unlock device. You can use this on any network for $250. You know, I.

Think the mid-range devices are getting a lot better than what they have been over the past couple years. Like ? like three to three years ago. You would buy a phone in the same price range, and it wasn't good at all. Now it's like okay, 2019 2020, the mid-Rangers have just gotten better, especially with Samsung stepping up their game. You know, Motorola has always stepped up their game when it comes to the mid-range devices here.

I'm going to want to put that down and for the most part you know, there's not a lot of companies that are investing a lot of money when it comes to range devices. So guys, you know, take a look at the TCL 10 l and the pro of course, I'm going to link them both down in the description below we'll check those out when you guys get the chance. You know if you're invested in your know, purchasing a new device, and you're, not sure if you know. Don't just watch one review. You know if you're, not 100% sure always watch reviews on other people.

You're going to get you're going to get different opinions your, but at the end of the day you know, you're going to want the device for something that you want to do, whether it be gaming or photography, or you know, recording yourself like this again guys. Sometimes you, you can't think of a phrase or something to say so. You use that, and you know for people they like to criticize I have a lot of old videos on YouTube, and I'm, hoping that my videos are getting better. People are commenting on videos that I did like five years ago, and they're saying ah aha. This guy doesn't know what his do.

What he's doing this? Isn't that and I think it's hilarious, because I look back on it and five years ago, I was not very good at what I'm doing now, and I'm, not stamina, I'm, not saying that my videos are so much better now than they were five years ago, but at the same time you know I hope that for those of you who have followed me over the past five years, that you guys have seen an improvement in my video game, whether it be you know, the video that I'm pulling off the actual cameras or my audio quality, etc. , and just the actual presentation itself, so guys I, really appreciate you following me that have been and supported me over the past couple years: new followers, if you guys, are seeing this for the first time you know again thank you for watching we'll continue to hopefully grow the channel I'm. My goal by the end of the year is twenty thousand subscribers and I can't do that without followers like yourself. You know before you type something crucial and be rude on line two people think about like the work that they're putting in to make the video themselves. You know it's not easy. Furthermore, you know producing videos, editing, videos, people really think it's. If it's so easy, they would do it themselves, and they don't so just you know be worried about that. You know it takes a lot of confidence and someone to you know kind of get out of their shell and come out of their box to do something as like, YouTube or anything in general.

Like you know if you're a game streamer or if you work in you know the cinema industry or media whatever you want to call it, you know it's not easy. Putting yourself in front of the camera talking to people talking to people that you don't know. First, because again you know I'm doing the video, because you know I want you guys to see, and you know hopefully know what the product that I'm looking at is going to be good or bad, and then you take it for what yourself what it is, and again I'm, still recording on the TCL 10l. This is the phone that they sent me. You know TCL.

They sent me the phone to test out, and I'm testing it for you, it's just like any average consumer would, so again guys appreciate you guys following me, just want to kind of put that out there.
