ROG Phone 5 hands-on - ROG Pulse Podcast #24

Hello republic of gamers and welcome to ROG pulse the podcast where we dive behind the scenes and look at well all kinds of stuff here at dog. My name is Jake Kaminski and joining me here today. We've got Sasha and dean from headquarters good morning to you guys, good morning, so you know we've actually all done. One show together in the past as this trio, and that was for the kg phone three, so it makes perfect sense to be reconvening here for the kg phone five, which we just unveiled. What two days ago now yeah yeah yeah. First, it's two days.

I think it's for you, it's one right, I'm pretty sure time passes the same essentially but yeah. It's essentially one yeah one and a half. It was six a. m Thursday morning. So technically, yes, one day, one yeah you're right, you're, right, um, so yeah I mean how's launch week been going a lot of excitement, a lot of people I mean if you guys, been checking out the media reviews, etc.

Yeah. I think we got a lot of praises from the media, and we're really thrilled about it, and I think that with all the well all the article 5 series are very, very exciting, like for all the users and all the like players around the world. Yeah, I think southwest was the one like introducing and hosting the whole launch event, so yeah yeah yeah. That was fun. That was really exciting.

I mean you were there too so um. It was really cool, working together with dean on that launch and yeah the setup where we shot it was really cool. It was similar to like the set they used to shoot Mandalorian. You know this huge uh led wall that dynamically changes they use, five trackers on the camera and everything that was super cool. That was really fun powerful software yeah the technology's coming a long way, um, oh cool, well, so just kind of giving anyone.

That's wondering what the kg phone 5 is all about. How does this phone stand out when it comes to being compared to like the other big flagship phones out there on the market? Dean I'll? Give you this one indeed. Do me a favor and just pull your mic a little closer to you, yeah sure, Dow g phone, five, five, five you're right. There are multiple models that is good to clarify yep. So do we just yeah uh as an overview just like what is the target audience for the ROG phone? Five? Let's just before we dive into each individual device? Yeah? Okay, so obviously I think it's for most like the most hardcore mobile gamers yeah.

That's what we created this device for yeah. So with all the like powerful features like whilst I to talk about it on the launch event, so we have four five like cornerstones for we that's what we believe in making the gaming phone so performance, that's one and four most important things and then display high refresh rate, of course, and then the audio system. The overall audio system is probably also believed in its very uh, important for mobile gamers and then the whole control system thing so well for mobile phones, it's not like computers, so you have mouses and keyboards. So it's hard for people to play on the mobile phone, but from our phone series, especially for our phone five. We have multiple like control systems that we call air triggers that you can use to like really enhance your skills and your chance to win in mobile games yeah and then like we're, pushing the spec and technology to the limits in every regard like when it comes to the panel.

When it comes to the soc. You know the CPU, the GPU uh, the clock, speed, the cooling and also the input methods like anything that could you could possibly use as an input method, because you know it's a small device and when you're playing uh games on a mobile phone games are getting closer like mobile games are getting closer to desktop and console games, and you need to, I think you know, like let's say, you're playing a shooter, something like Call of Duty. You want to be able to run and then jump through a window and duck and turn left and throw grenade. And then you know, pull up aim side and run shoot, and you want to do all of that. That's so many inputs at the same time, um, if you would have buttons for that on your screen.

You know you would not have that much to actually uh see the game with, so we're. Thinking of all the possible input methods you could use like motion uh, you know control like using the gyro to have input um and having the air triggers and having additional input methods, so uh accessory as well as like a like the lunar and so on cool yeah, we'll dive into the accessories a bit later in the show but uh. I guess we can open up and actually talk about the lineup for the RPG phone five there's the kg phone five, where now these numbers below that is the amount of ram and then the amount of storage on the device right, so that first one would be eight gigs of ram, then 128, gigs of storage and then 12 gigs of ram 256 and then 16 256 as well. That's all the base: kg phone five uh, moving down the line to the kg phone 5 pro that's 16 and then 512 storage, so 16 gigs of ram. Already a big number.

I mean that's what we're looking at for high-end phones, and then you can go above and beyond into the ultimate which is going to be 18 gigs of ram, and that is a world first right on a phone, yeah, yeah, yeah, first yeah and that's pushing the capability of what the soc can do: yeah very cool, very cool, okay. So, let's, let's, let's reel it back in and talk about the original five kg phone, five. What is different other than the ram and the storage between each of these devices? And so I think, um. There are two things that separates on the regular: well, the base models of our phone five and the pro and multiple version. So the pro and other version.

As you can see from the picture, there are a small screens on the back on the rear side of the phone that we call our division, which can display like various animations. According to the system event on the phone, so basically, when you are entering a game, when your device is charging, it can show a very cool invasion and I think we can see it um on the next part of the show and then there's a second thing, that is the air trigger control system. So there's a control that we call rear touch. So it's hard to for you to see on the picture now, but we can show it later. So it's essentially a two capacitive um touch: sensors.

That's on the back of the phone, also that you can use it as an input method. Yeah! That's the two like many things. Well, aside from the aesthetic of right, yeah that separates from the uh, the ultimate in pro and the base models yep. So we got, we got all of them here we got the white and the black kg phone five. We got the kg phone five pro, and we got the ultimate.

We have all the accessory um minus the headset um, but we also have the ultimate packaging, which has a lot of extra cool stuff, and we have the lunar and the cases everything, so we can. Furthermore, we can uh, show all of this later step by step, but yeah that's the overview of the kg phone, five lineups- and I think I don't know if you were asking like compared to our g phone three, because we just did like a couple of weeks ago to show about our g-phone uh three. I think compared to that one. The screen is slightly bigger, um and the battery is now split into two pieces, so the soc is centered. Better cooling and more performance latest soc, of course makes a big difference and because the battery is split into two pieces uh we can charge faster um.

So you know actually a question in the chat and um about the giveaway guys that has already happened. So there's no giveaways part of this stream. Sorry for that, but they're asking about heat you just mentioned the battery is split up for better cooling. How does this compare to the kg phone 3 when it comes to overall heat? So I think we can separate that into two questions. So the first one is: how do you like? How do a player really feel about it when you play a game? So basically, if you uh it's like for out from five, we have the soc in the center, so that's a place that normally people wouldn't touch when playing a game.

So um you can feel less heating when you're playing that's for sure comparing to well, I would say any other phones, yeah, and the second thing is that um, because we put it in the center- and we put also all the cooling stuff, so the vapor chamber, graphite sheet and also our mid-frame, is made of aluminum, so the heat from the soc can spread evenly, and it's basically essentially faster to all the edges of the frame and all the way to only like graphite and vapor chamber, like I mentioned so, essentially makes faster, cooling and uh. Well, the thermal performance is even better comparing to your automotive yeah, and then we also tweaked the um error, active cooler, five yeah, the accessory that comes with all of them, so um that one blows the air directly onto the back of the phone right where the soc sits, so that that helps a lot as well um in regard to availability and carriers in the US, we'll have more info in the future, but nothing to share here just yet um, okay. So when it comes to actually just looking at these phones, I say we jump right to it like get the physical hands on right, right, yeah. So we'll do like a pseudo unboxing. They have been unboxed already, but you know we just wanted to show the packaging as well, and we got the phone in there so yeah, that's the regular kg phone, five.

Okay, pretty nicely packaging, yep yeah pretty much moving yeah, but um. It's a different way to open it. Yeah, the magnetic there's a magnetic latch over here and then the box is opened like this yeah yeah. That I'm a big fan of that as well yeah, and I wish we'd do more like that yeah. So when you use the phone you can scan it, and you would turn like art hing.

So you can really. Oh, that's cool. Like yeah like read or watch it. Oh okay, it's like an augmented reality like experience cool, so the phone sits right here, and you can see we already turned it on sneaky. So all right, so RGB ROG logo on the back yeah, and it's two zone now so on the previous one.

You can set it to any color you want. You can now have color combination, so that means you can have it doesn't like. Furthermore, you can see it right here. That's like our typical yeah, just like our background here right yeah, it's very electrical yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah and then you know, because of that you can set it to any two cone, two-tone combination you want, or you can even have like a know, kind of wave pattern on it and you can also. You know, do that based on like what happens on the phone.

So that's that's pretty cool as well yeah. We actually did a full, deep dive on a lot of the tools and notification in the kg phone 3 episodes of kg pulse. If you guys want to check that out, but we're talking about like you can customize the color per application, so tweets it'll be blue. Um email could be read whatever you want to do for each kind of notification you get on your phone, you can customize all that to your liking, and it's just really nice. For that feature.

This is all built in armory, crate um, which has many other purposes that we'll talk about in this show yeah, and it's its like. So it's functional. You know it's not just you know glowing because it looks cool, but it actually has a purpose. You can really do something useful with it as well. I think that's really cool yep yeah, it just looks clean.

I like it's just like such a nice yeah like you, can probably choose how bright it is too as well right, yeah yeah, you can change the brightness as well and yeah. The design is, you know, very, very simplistic, but uh, really nice um, it's very important. It's like very Japanese much is what I see when I see this phone, like the inspiration feels like you know, we've got these comics we've got this like this very, like Neo, Tokyo. Vibe is what I see and I j you can there's this very. You know you unique appeal to this phone that is going to take off the kind of phone you expect somebody there would pull out of their pocket right like if you have a exactly.

If you have this futuristic world like yeah. That's what you want to see something cool like this and from the front, it's just a super simple black slab of glass, which I really like, because you know that's personally, I think uh I like that, the most and that's all these people, probably like that yeah yeah. So from the front you know you don't want some. You know distracting design elements or colors, or you know the branding name on here. You want the smallest bezel possible, where it's still comfortable to hold yeah and then for us also uh, so we do have bezels that are bigger than others but uh.

This is also where you know when you hold the phone to play games your palm. This is going to go into your palm anyways and also this is where we attach the lunar, which we come to later as well, which is really cool for the game. Controller yeah, all right. So that's the kg phone five. Then next up, let's go to the pro.

Oh, the white, one, oh yeah, right! We got the white one as well. I love that we made a white version of these phones like it's, everybody goes nuts for white GPUs, you name it, and it's its about time. We got these versions of the phones, yeah, and you can see the design elements much, much better on the white one as well. You can see, I mean, maybe see if it can hold so chad, I'm not alone, but like seeing this white with the blue on the button and on the back, that's cool right. I personally dig that color that specific blue that we're using in this I'm all about it.

Yeah, it has this nice teal, uh, anodized aluminum, on the sim tray here and on the power button. On the other side, yeah and the design elements you can. You can't really see because uh of the exposure right off the camera, but there's some nice lines on there as well and uh yeah looks really cool. I like the design, a lot. It's you know it's! It's not too much! Furthermore, it's just very small things here and there, but it looks very, very nice.

I don't feel like um yeah, I really like the design. It stands out and yeah, it's cool that we have a white and a black version. I really like that. That's you know and matching kind of what we do with our laptops as well and our peripherals. You know overall for all kg stuff.

You can see we're going in that direction of having like a black and a white version. I feel like that. Blue is new, though I can't think of another device. That has that- and I don't know well something about it. That really has has has some uh teal blue on it as well.

It has teal uh keyboard, backlight, actually yeah, so similar. It's not exactly the same tone, but very similar yeah people are asking about go ahead yeah. So one thing to note about this is that it has different, like our logo designs. So on the black version if it is a dotted design, another white version. It is like the plain and simple like the old already without the pictures, it's just pure yeah, yeah on the black one.

Let me hold it up closer into the camera. You can see it's like it. Has this uh square pixel design, that's similar to what to the enemy matrix design. We have like 14, cut out of the case to let light through yeah yeah and then for the white one. You can see.

It's actually, you know a smooth logo, and we have like a dot pattern on top of it similar. But so it's a slightly yeah yep slightly different yep um, the material that this phone is made of. Um people are asking about fingerprints. Will it smudge on the on this normal material? What is it made of it's made of glass yeah the front is gorilla glass Vitus, so the latest one um, really tough and the back one, I think, is also gorilla, glass right, yeah, it's correct last three yeah yeah, okay, so also gorilla glass um. Does it smudge yeah? It does much.

You know, class yeah, there's not much you can. You can do about that? Furthermore, you can, you can add a coating to it, um that reduces it that lasts for some time, but eventually it's going to wear off, but uh yeah there are. There are some smudges and fingerprints on it like any other phone, yeah yeah makes sense. I mean, and of course that's what screen covers and cases and as you mentioned, coatings can help yeah, but we'll get to that a little later. All right also depends on your know like how greasy food you eat and yeah.

If you're reading, Doritos and uh gaming on your phone, it's going to be a bad time, but so yeah I mean again just kind of bringing up our initial graphic with the RPG phone five. This is the first one here on the left. The options are eight gigs of ram 12, gigs of ram and 16. , with those you'll get 128 or 256 uh for the storage um. When it comes to your know, one thing we haven't talked about is we brought back the 3.5 millimeter jack on this phone? So we have the audio jacks yeah and I think that's a big feature that a lot of people have been asking for, especially when you're gaming you want to plug in your headset, and you want to be able to charge at the same time, so feedback heard and delivered yep. So you know the phone is slightly bigger.

The screen is slightly bigger, and then we had extra space for that also uh, the um Bluetooth uh. No sorry, the 5g antenna yeah. This is smaller. Now so we had some extra space where, like all right, let's put it back, and we actually enhanced it with the ESS codec yeah yeah. So it's not just a 3.5 millimeter uh jack, but it's like pretty much the best one. You could possibly have that's something that some reviewers talk about as well um.

You can fine tune it a lot and uh yeah, it's a really, really nice codec and for the fingerprints on the white one. Furthermore, you see them much less than on the black one yeah, that's only um, naturally, and on the ultimate you see fingerprints very little like very little fingerprints, yeah, we'll see it later, yeah we'll get there we'll get there all right up. Next is the pro, though pro right yep, so the original phone pro that's again we're moving up to 16 gigs of ram and 512 for storage and ooh. This box is fancier yeah. They have completely different boxes like which is surprising yeah.

This one is similar to the packaging of the kg phone three yeah similar, but the oh, the way to open it. It's very different yeah, and so it opens like this yeah, which is really nice yeah, and also has this um anime thing, the cartoon thing yeah on the top and the phone and the accessory that comment with it is underneath. So it opens like this. Oh nice yeah, the presentation is really nice. Like the first time you open it, yeah, that's, really cool, okay, so here's the iPhone 5 pro yeah.

We usually have um like a protective film on it, so you can use that to pull the phone out easily, all right that we already unboxed if it's. Actually we talked about this earlier yeah. If there's the error, active cooler, yeah cool, let's talk about the cooler first, okay, so um the cooler is fascinating. I mean, I think, a lot of people first time they hear about it. There's its like active cooling, or it does.

The phone need active cooling like are you, you know clocking the chip that high? So no you don't need this um. This is just an accessory. You can add, if you want to, if you want to push the chip even higher, you want the highest possible clocks, and you want the lowest temperatures when you're playing for a long time. You know it depends on the person as well. Some people always have cold hands somehow and still survive, like you'd, think they're a zombie or something, and then there's other people that have constantly sweaty palms.

I know there's like a co-worker I used to work with. It was like insane. We kept telling him like hey, you should get it checked like he always had super sweaty palms like really, really wet pumps, um and yeah. So you know this helps a lot with that, since it blows air on your hands as well, but it also cools the phone and um yeah. What's what's the fan in there? You can't the only way to tell if it's working, if it's turned on is to look at it to see.

If the uh fan blades are spinning, that's the only way to tell like you can hold it next to your ear, but I at least can't hear it. I don't have the best hearing ultra silence. I could not hear that yeah, and it has a RGB uh illuminated logo on here as well. It has a kickstand, so that's pretty neat you can uh when you attach it. I think you can see.

Can we see it attached, I'm curious yep? How hard is it is just snaps on yeah it just snaps on, so I think, let me see. Oh, I didn't align it right and there we go. It's already attached yeah. So now, so you could put that with a kickstand, uh yeah, so watch whatever you want to do with it, yeah yeah! Exactly for watching movies. That's perfect right! So you can! Oh sorry, you can put it down like this and um.

So, even just as a kickstand, it has value for a device. I mean, I think, about the number of times that you know the flight I'm on doesn't have anything to watch or whatever you just plop, that on the table in front of you, and you're good to go, and it's not just that, so it has the fan, it has the kickstand. It has. The RGB uh glowing logo. It has two extra triggers that you can use and use in conjunction with the triggers.

You have on the phone already, and it has a 3.5 millimeter uh headphone jack at the bottom, so you can actually still plug in the headphones at the bottom. So you don't need to use it on the side, because you know when you play like this, you probably want the cable coming out at the end. You can still charge at the same time. So there's a cutout, so you can't see it there well yeah. We can see it the USB cable plug in at the bottom.

Yes yeah, so there's a small cat out there, too dean have you played around with this at all yeah and I would say that the physical buttons on the air active cooler is really like amazing. It pulls me away yeah, especially in shooting, games yeah, because you have that tactile feedback, yeah yeah, yeah, yeah yeah and the response is like instantaneous. So it's really no latency yeah. Is it uh? How does it feel ergonomically? Is it more comfortable to hold as a whole? Because you got a little more to grip on or what yeah, I think for the last generation, because we didn't have this uh like this shape of it. So it's a bit awkward to hold it when you play with the cooler attached, but with this generation this uh this.

How is it like the design overall and the buttons that it's just normal and name sure it feels good to put it from yeah? It took to put it to put your fingers on it, and it feels really, really good yeah, so you can either use your middle finger or your ring finger um, and you can still have you know your hair triggers at the top yeah very cool, yes, very cool, all right. What else? What else is different about the pro compared to the regular or a g-phone? Five? Oh sorry, this side right so like we mentioned before, so the pro version has this RGB vision that hits up that you can choose different animations up here. You got the arrow to logo in the middle here you can also customize it. So if we go into the settings in the armory crate, you can choose different. You can choose different animations.

Now we uh pre-installed in the phone, and you can also customize it like this. So you have three different ways to do it, so you can snap your picture or import the picture, and then you can have a filter on it and show it on the other vision, and you can also do the text thing mm-hmm. It can show the time as well and stuff like that, yeah it's similar to the enemy matrix, but with the phone tiny, yeah, yeah yeah, and it's RGB yeah. That is cool like this and yeah. It's really easy to just put something on there.

So I remember the first time I got it. I had a sample for the last uh few weeks. Unfortunately, I had to return it um yeah. The first thing I did was like: I wanted to see the rod, vision, display and try it, and I just snapped the picture and put it into the army. Crate app put it on the kg vision, display.

It takes a few seconds and that's really cool. It's really fun to do uh. Something like that see I like that, because I customize it really easily I'm the kind of guy that always has my screen face down, but to have that little tiny screen to notify me of any missed calls or whatever would be really valuable, yeah incoming call yeah yeah. So you can just text I king or 4g yeah, something like that yeah. You can also show the names on it, and it has cool little effects on it as well.

Very cool yeah put your gamer tag there. If that's what you want or whatever right you know yeah. This is the other thing where I believe any custom animation could be uploaded. So you find a GIF that you like, and you could just put it on there right. Well, you have to add a filter to it.

Um. You can't just put anything completely on there, but uh yeah. You can customize it a ton, and it comes with a lot of cool animations as well with uh games that we partner with. So that's really nice um yeah. So, with a lot of game, publishers, we're working with um we're creating like wallpapers and also kg vision, animations, and they're going to come bundled with the phone and then there are updates where you get more for them.

Yeah, you think about them like the Halloween uh enemy, matrix, display, animation, yeah stuff, like that, would be cool seasonal. You know, celebrations like game related, different mobile games and you have like their characters on a wallpaper and a rd vision animation for those games as well for different kinds of games and yeah. That's that's, really fun very cool, very cool, I'm glad to see we're continuing to innovate now, kg vision. This is something that you can um you control you. Can you turn it off? You can set it.

So it's only going to be used for notifications. If you say you know you can choose which notifications you want to utilize it, because obviously it is a secondary screen and if you had it on all the time it will affect your battery and that's just common sense, but yeah yeah a little. It's not it's! Not it's very small, yeah yeah yeah, it's its really very little um. Some people are like you know, mega max power users. They want to min max everything.

So just clarifying the tools do exist to control it. However, you like I've, used it for a few weeks, and you know um two days ago, when we had the launch, I could finally pull off the sticker from the rig vision display, but the animation was actually on uh, so um and I tried that with the animation on and with the animation off, and I didn't notice any difference at all: oh battery life um, you know six thousand William batteries, it's, and it's an OLED panel um, it's a pm OLED, I think yeah. So it's its very, very energy efficient was kg phone three or letter no uh. The main display was- and this one is also OLED. This one is a really nice Samsung OLED panel um yeah yeah, the front panel, yeah yeah.

Oh, it's gorgeous, and I don't even think we mentioned it. Yet. This is 144 hertz of refresh rate on this phone right. Yes, yes, 144 hertz, and you know even just uh yeah. I use it as my work phone for the last few weeks.

So, so even just outlook, good luck and teams, you know scrolling through chat and emails and everything is so smooth. I maybe I'm imagining it, but I really think uh like to me. It looks and feels smoother than 120 hertz um yeah. It's really crisp and really nice and it's so cool to have the same kind of experience that you have on your desktop and your laptop now. Also, on your phone.

You know it's really high refresh rate crisp sharp fast scrolling through websites as well. It's really nice very cool um. Okay! Is there any dynamically adjust the refresh rate? I think that's really cool as well. So you don't. You know on some other phones, you can choose.

Do you want high refresh rate or low refresh rate, and then it affects the battery life, and it's like well, I want the high refresh rate, but I don't need it all the time? So we have this really smart, auto mode that toggles between different refresh rates based on what you're doing so for some things, you don't need videos, you don't need, like one yeah, those are 60 years, yeah yeah. So if you're just watching you know YouTube or Netflix or something else, then you don't need the screen to run at 144 hertz, and it automatically then switches to only 60. And that's that's really cool. That's really clever. It saves battery yep um.

You know one question is you know cameras? Are they all the same across this lineup, a kg phone yeah, the camera? We actually kept the same camera right same as the original three yeah, and also for the yeah whole series of our phone button yeah. They also all the different kg phone. Five is. How do you say it? I have the same camera, and it's the same as kg phone three, which is the same main sensor as the before seven, which won the MHD right uh. That's right, yeah, blind test.

So why change it yeah? It's perfect! Yeah, and KB did a blind test with a bunch of different photos taken from different phones and let the community vote on uh which one they liked the best, and he ended up choosing the before, as you mentioned, um yeah, but uh yeah. This is the Sony, mix 686 flagship sensors, 64 megapixels, um and pro video mode, so really really really nice good quality. If you guys are wondering about that, um other things about the body we could talk about. You know just in terms of external, that's a good kind of goes across the board that that stands out to you guys. I mean I think this is going to have all the standard features you expect to see.

Um. I like, I think, all these no notch I mean I don't know some people don't care about it, some people even like it. Furthermore, I know some people who want to have a notch, and they like it but yeah. Furthermore, I'm I like that. There's no notch and yeah for the dual charging dual battery cell charging so up to 65 watts and for anybody who's worried about.

Oh, how does it affect the lifetime? You know we really care a lot about this. So that's one of the reasons why we split the battery into two cells as well, so the 65 watts- that's really smart, is you know, distributed to the two cells, so each cell, it's kind of like just having two batteries and each one you're charging it half the wattage. So it's not as uh. You know harmful um for the battery cells and, like we mentioned in the previous episode a few weeks ago about kg phone three, we have some really cool uh charging tech. We can choose.

Do you want to quick charge? Or do you not want to quick charge? Because now I don't need to quick charge? I have time, and I'm already at 50, then I can set it to just charge normally, and we have this really cool implementation. Where you can say um, you know I'm plugging in the phone now it's 10 10 p. m. At night, I just need it to be 100 at 7 00 a. m.

Next morning, when I get up, and it's gonna charge as slow as possible overnight to uh, have the longest possible battery life uh like lifetime for the battery as possible, so yeah long term after years, yeah less damage, that's true for any kind of battery, whether it be a car or a phone or a laptop um and dean. That's called what scheduled charging is, what we call it yeah. So basically, we have three main like battery care thing for all the phones and the first one is just such a mention, so we call it steady charging. So basically, you can choose between you on higher uh voltage powered on, or you can say just like moderate or a very, very slow charging. Yeah, uh it's hold depends on the user, so you can recharge the phone charge.

Your phone really, really slow to um to protect the battery essentially and then there's schedule charging like charger mentioned as well, so it can set to like this like yeah when you get out by 7, am it can be charged 100 by then, but it will charge as slow as possible to also protect the battery and then here's the charging upper limit. So you can choose your battery to be charged in full to 90 or 80 percent, so also to protect your battery so to extend the overall lifetime of the battery, and also we have the 6000 big battery. So we care about um people's using time as well as the over elected the longevity of the battery or longevity of the device yeah. We carry them both yeah and- and this is the same for all the all- the different kg phone- five phones, uh and even kg phone three yeah yeah, so um yeah, it's its! It's really nice and people who really care about it. You know you have that option.

How much of a difference does it really make uh, it's really hard to say, because everybody uses the phone differently um, and we don't. You know test exactly what happens if you have the phone at 95 100, 95 100. If you keep going back and forth between that, that's probably one of the worst things you can do for the phone um and another one would be going between zero and five constantly. That would also be one of the worst things for the battery um. So how much does it really make of a difference in case you know when, when we talked about this, make these options open for the users yeah like? Theoretically, it will hurt the battery yes, so we don't really test for it, but we open all these options for the users to choose.

If you want yeah yeah- and I think this is gonna, when are you going to see a big difference? Let's say you limit it to only eighty percent, and you always just slow charge. Um you'll probably see a difference after two years and at that point you know you'll probably see a difference compared to then always charging to 100 and using quick charge. But again it depends. If you're using quick charge all the time and you always let the battery go to really low percentage. Maybe after one year you can already start to feel the know uh battery drain a little.

Maybe you can already see a slight difference like with every phone um with every battery cell, so yeah, but it's its really nice to have that option and with you know, 6 000 milliampere battery. I set mine to 80 because yeah still plenty I still had like. I think the worst I ever had was 40 left at the end of the day, and I had like a really long day and I used it a lot so yeah, okay, uh anything else on the pro that we want to go over before we hop over to the ultimate. Furthermore, I think we can just go to the ultimate yeah yeah. Let's go to the ultimate.

Ah, that's silver! That's what Sasha wants it! The most yeah I can just put these so here's the packaging, oh ultimate version in silver and silver and yeah. It is white, but it has a like silver hue. That's really nice! So the way to open it is actually through this pull tab here, and then it reveals a nice like a picture. Oh, that's our Audrey. What do you? They are like a future cyberpunk city background, all the cinematic stake place there.

Yeah, yeah. The box looks like this similar white one yep. Now this comes in two colors right, the ultimate, or is it only white, only white? It's a only way yeah. It opens like this, like the pro version yeah. Here we go, so the ultimate version also comes with the cooler accessory yep.

It's the same deal kickstand cooler, yes and just yep, yes, yeah. Let's show that background uh, the back of the phone. I don't know can. Can you see it? Let me hold it closer to the camera, so I was um. Actually, my wife was watching the videos, and she said this looks like an evangelist and that's like I'm, like you know what you're right like it really just happened like this phone in particular has like just the angles and these sharp lines.

It's its just really, really neat. Really nice looking yeah and- and you can see like the way it reflects the light you can see it has this matte look. It is glass, but it is matte glass and somebody was asking about fingerprints. So this one almost no fingerprints at all, so that's really cool about the ultimate um yeah, and it feels really nice as well. It has like a slight rubbery drippy feel to it, but it's glass.

So many people say it isn't glass because it doesn't look like it. It doesn't look like glass and- and it also feels like it- has this rubbery drippy touch. You know, but that's not going to wear off because that's actually the surface, that's the glass um yeah, very nice, so other than this is so hard to let go yeah. This is the first ever phone to come with 18 gigs of ram um. This thing is gonna, be just stupidly.

Fluid like honestly just you can see the screen if, as dean like whips around yeah, it's just that's the 144 hertz display OLED, yeah, yeah and 18 gigs, I mean that's more than the default configuration for most companies or computers, yeah yeah, I mean a lot of people stop at 16 and yeah. Here we are at 18. Why 18, though, to me, that's that's a very interesting number. Can we talk about that? Is there something we can say about it? I think that we well. We push the boundaries yeah.

Okay, we push forward for the well most advanced technologies, and we want to bring it to our users. Yeah, yeah. That's we care most here. I think that the target from Qualcomm was probably 16 gigs, but they can actually do 18 gigs. So it's like.

If we can, let's do it. Okay, exactly yes, you know, kg is like that. Yeah, yeah push the same, we're always pushing the limits trying to get to that next level and succeeding yeah, so yeah many people ask us why it's like how possibly like the phone can handle 18 gigs like how much test can you do on the phone? It's not like a PC when you can do like multitask, but we think that it is yeah. We just push boundaries and maybe there's some people that really can use all of that 18 gigs from, and then we believe that when mobile games get evolving, that more and more boy games are coming to the uh mobile games industry, and then we think sometimes well uh it will, you really use out only like rams all the storage yeah, so we prepared like in advance, so people can use it. Well, I mean, I think, another way of looking at it, at least as a user.

One thing I'm thinking about is nowadays we have a lot of these portable monitors available that you can actually use with your phone, so you can um. You know run this out into a separate display. You can use a Bluetooth, keyboard or Bluetooth accessory. We have controllers that we can that can be used with this device, and suddenly you are multitasking and playing it on. You know a high resolution on a bigger display, all from your phone.

So more and more we're going to see these phones become. I mean they're little computers in our pockets really, so why not have all that power so that you can use it on the go but also bring it home and then use it on a bigger screen? That is possible, and it feels like we're starting to bridge that gap to the point where phones are little baby. You know I wouldn't be surprised if at some point in the future our phone docks onto a terminal and is our PC. I would not be surprised if we get to that point. Who knows yeah exactly yeah and I mean even now um.

I think games are using a lot of memory and then, if you're having a lot of tabs, I have a million browser tabs open, and you know um. If, if you're that kind of user, then you definitely see an improvement there, where you go back and forth between different apps that use a lot of memory between games and other apps um, and you switch back and forth the loading time is much lower for some apps. You know the app is going to reload entirely and restart entirely, and that's not going to happen when you have that much memory and like being said, this is future proving you know like. Maybe today you don't need 18 gigs of memory or maybe only a few. People need 18 gigs of memory today, but that's today you know and this phone you can use for a couple of years.

So uh this is gonna, be an amazingly fast phone, even in two three four years from now, probably um yeah. So that's that's! Really cool um. One of the questions was just uh the operating system. This is what android 11 out of the box, and I assume it's a skin android 11 like our own custom, skin yeah. Let's see ROG UI android 11.

, but when you launch the phone for the first time you can choose. Do you want like the clean uh? Oh, you can just default that that's amazing yeah! That's amazing! Because a lot of people they don't want something different right. I wish my current phone could do that um yeah. If you're already used to the default icons, you know, and you don't want any special icons or animations or anything you can totally have a somewhat stock android experience on you, it looks, looks just like stock android, yeah um. However, there's more for the ultimate edition right, we have like this uh, really cool exclusive uh box.

That comes with a ton of stuff. I think for that yeah you have it right. Next to the table, we need to make some space really huge. What box? That's not a phone box? That's that's a computer yep yeah! We actually thought we have to zoom out with the DSLR some more too. It barely fits on right now, but we can't zoom out further yeah so yeah.

So here's the well Audrey ultimate fan gift collection that we send out to basically every people, every person who buys the iPhone 5 ultimate and uh. Let's unbox it. It's like a super fan, uh collector's edition kind of thing. You know like it's when you buy a game, and you buy the collector's edition, and you get like some figurine and some other cool stuff with it. So for the ultimate you don't just get the 18 gigs um and some nice matte glass back.

Oh, is it like completely sealed yeah wow the brand new one really yeah? Is this the first time somebody sees this really? Maybe not so many media talked about it, but I think okay, how about media to get this as well? Okay, I think it's really, really cool for yeah, for gamers, for users and for our defense yeah, but we designed this box and yeah everything you did for yeah. I can't wait to open it. No you open it. You open it go ahead! Dude I know. What's inside, oh he's got to take the headset off he's like this is serious business.

Yeah, he's he's getting the uh cutter, oh okay, so it's never been known. Oh okay, you did it many times already: okay, dean. One of the questions in the chat is about waterproofing on the phone. Does this phone have an IP rating and waterproofing, or what's the status on that uh? Unfortunately, now because we have this cutout on a sideboard and also for the microphones. We have four microphones in this phone wow, so it's kind of hard to really prove everything that covering up behold without um without like um affecting the performance.

Okay, all right there, you go chad, it's well. It's like a life uh everyday life, proving it's okay, yeah like water resistant, so it doesn't want to resist it's raining. Yes, branding is okay, yeah, it's okay! It's just you know, dropping it, don't take it into the swimming pool and try to shoot the video on the water or something all right. Here we go. Oh, the light.

Reflection in the camera looks nice. Did you get a hat? Oh wow, there are patches, yeah, yeah, all right, you do you, take a dean, take it away. Yes, the patches. We have three patches and actually here in this little packaging. Oh, we have our coco signature and a ladder also for our defense, and we have uh signed by our CEOs yeah.

It looks like it's really signed. I suppose this is actually printed right, but it looks like a real signature. Well, the material of this box is really premium. I guess so. Also, they are the stickers with the theorem silvery yeah.

Those are nice. What is that yeah? Is that a face mask? Yes? Yes, I was like what's powerful, what would that be? Yeah? It's a face mask cover, so it's you know you can put it over the face mask so the face mask itself doesn't get dirty when you touch it with your hands. I want one a lot of people in Asia do that. I don't know if people in other countries do that as well in other regions but um in Asia. It's like a big thing, and then you can also customize your face mask much more right, so you have the surgical mask and then, on top of that you can wear.

You know like a Gucci cover or something else right right right, because yeah, that's not actually going to do anything for you, but it's going to look nice yeah. Let me try that, so that's kind of what it looks like cool Sasha just did that so that he can claim it he's like ha ha. This is mine man. Nobody wants it now, yeah, also here's the Elvis towel and the hat. Of course.

If you want to try them, perhaps yeah, oh yeah, the towel is cool. I like that. I like that a lot yeah and uh already like building blocks. So you can, it's actually you can build a're playing Legos! Oh, oh yes, yeah angles, sorry ROG Legos, but it's the mini Legos. I don't know if you know those uh um.

First time I saw them was in Japan, but I don't know if they're from Japan originally, but it's like miniature Lego, very tiny yeah. Oh, I have seen those yeah yeah, and you can build out a ROG logo with it, which is really cool and this one is my personal favorite yeah. You play poker. No, this is a really cool deck of cards. Do you play poker or mahjong like this? This it's not making, but like Madonna, you know what I mean is: what kind of game do you play um now we don't play that much.

I would say, but it's like exciting to see if they go like this, those are black. That's nice, yeah, the overall design is very, very cool poker with this would be really cool yeah. I don't even think I own a deck of cards. Oh, I like the blue ones, yeah yep cool and from the other side, and they're like really high quality cards like this, is just really adorable premium cards yeah. I like the pattern on the back.

Really it is. The camera does not want to focus on that. No matter what you do, it's just like yeah, it's a little reflective, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah. We tried here. We go no too reflective yeah, so we got a cart set as well.

Um yeah you get a ton of really cool stuff with the ultimate yep cool that was totally factory sealed. I did not expect that nice because we didn't know if we could get it. This was like a last minute thing, and yesterday I told dean, hey uh, the ultimate packaging. You know. Can you get some of that extra stuff? That would be really cool to show, even if it's already on factory- and you arrived like yesterday- oh wow, wow, that's one time: yeah yeah yeah, that's incredible! Um cool, all right cool, a lot of things.

You know just kind of there's a lot to talk about with these phones, and we've. Just we've discussed some stuff in the past um, but yeah just kind of running through just a few other things. The main camera can record up to 8k um, which is really nice. So again, the camera is, is really nice. We, the speakers.

We didn't really talk too much about the speakers, but they're really powerful. Oh yeah, like these are very really powerful. Really loud. That's one thing: a lot of phones have um bad quality or not that loudspeakers, but this is, you know, we're not holding back with anything here. The speakers really do have a kick to them and that's one of the things, as you mentioned, one of the reasons why the waterproofing is difficult because there's just so many points because we want it to come from all angles for a good gaming experience or a good video watching experience yeah.

So it's uh on the ROG phone three we had already very nice, stereo sound, but uh one driver was bigger than the other and for the five we now have the same big driver twice. That's exactly the same. One symmetrical yeah dual speakers, which is awesome. That's really symmetrical yeah, because if you're, you know you're right without the symmetry, if you're holding your phone up and it is one side has got way better base or something than the other, it's going to feel bad yeah. It's just weird yeah.

I think it was not a big difference. I didn't really notice it much, but at full volume, then you can really feel like one side was louder than the other, and now with our g phone five, it's like both sides are like passing at full volume, and it's really loud uh yeah. It's its to the point where I think some people might hate people who have this. You know public transport and you blast it like. I don't know here in Taiwan you have some old people on public transport that can be really annoying, and you don't want them to have a kg phone, five yeah, okay, um, all right.

Let's, lets uh, we can see the full line up here. That's the kg phone five, the five pro and then the five ultimate um going down the line, but we also have a lot of accessories that go with this phone. We have already been going for almost an hour guys just talking about the kg phone five, which is crazy because typically we don't even go this long for a show. But let's let's jump in and look at these accessories well, you know we had to go and make it four phones instead of one. So, oh yeah, we didn't talk about that number four.

By the way, did we want to talk about that? Oh yeah, I mean it's like a thing in Asia. Um number four is an unlucky number. So that's why we skipped it. I think a couple of other phone companies did this as well: yeah just phone companies we've seen it you'll see that you'll see that in elevators as well. It's interesting so some elevators here in buildings.

There is no fourth floor and I think, there's another floor that sometimes doesn't exist in the west. No there's a there's a floor. That's skipped in the west, it's like 13 right, like there are some countries where you don't have a 13th floor. Yeah you'll, see that a place like hotels in Disney world will do that right, like that's like I've seen it before. As a kid I mean it's been a long time since I've been to Disney world, but like I remember that being a thing and I was like I'm really confused, and my parents are like oh well, you know that's why there must be something really.

The best stuff is in that floor. It's like you know, because people would complain. Oh, I got booked on the unlucky floor. I don't want to be there right, you know! So it's just you know. Humans will be superstitious about stuff, like that, so make it five and for anyone who's wondering about this, you know no, you did not miss the ROG phone, for we did go from three to five yeah right phone cases.

So yeah do you want to talk about them or do you want me to talk last night? We have two types of arrow case. So one is this: a white kind of trans near transparent, yep design that comes with the white orange from fives and there's also another one. That's um, just simply just like the play black one that comes with the black ones. So it's just clean, so you still get the full uh view on the back. I assume this is raising the screen up on the front.

So it's got a bit of a guard, so the screen will never touch the ground right. Yeah, yeah, yeah, pretty much standard phone case, design, cool, yeah, they're, very clean. They look like they belong, and you still see the design right, and it still has the same kind of design elements. You can still see the art division display. You can still access the air triggers uh, you know flashlight camera and everything.

Furthermore, you have all the ports on the side on the bottom, everything you can still access and yeah the clear one is really nice um. I would actually like that one. I would have liked that one for the black one that I've been using um yeah. So these we have as well, and then we also have the lunar yep. This is a really cool controller dean.

Tell us all about it, yeah! So could I well it's the same as the one we launched with our phone three but which was like, I feel like that thing was always sold out. So clearly it's highly sought after very popular yeah, and then we have this new um bumper that because well, the iPhone 5 is dimensionally bigger than the advantage. So we make the new bumper to fit it, as so that's the case that you snap onto the phone where you can then attach the lunar on the side. So that's the controller, so we can just quickly assemble it by default. The lunar is a very compact Bluetooth, game pad, with a lot of buttons and triggers and everything.

Oh, there you go you're already done um, and then you can actually detach it, and it transforms into three separate pieces up there. You see it yeah love it. So this is the default view yeah. If you're looking at this you're, probably saying wow, that's like the switch and in a lot of ways. It definitely feels like the inspiration came from that, but, like I mean it's so functional for a phone to make your phone into a better gaming device, essentially um, I think it's cool.

I think we started doing this before the switch came out. Oh, maybe right the first time we we we had. This was before the switch came out and back. Then there were some other third party controllers similar to this, and there were even I remember there was a French company that was doing game tablets that had an accessory um with like buttons and everything like this on the sides and yeah it's so. The middle part, basically uh snaps off.

You can remove the side pieces, and then you can slide it onto the side of the case here. So you can see there's some like contact pads here, similar to Pogo pins, and then it slides on yep and then on either side, and then it's its. It's almost like a PSP, but even bigger than a PSP like, oh man, you remember this screen is way bigger than the PSP yeah yeah. This is a big phone. That's something that uh to point out.

This is a large phone. So if you like big phones, um, this is the phone for you, yeah and, like you know if you're serious, about playing mobile games, this is like there's no better way of playing mobile games. There's so many touch inputs, yeah, there's like triggers here triggers there, and all buttons wow yeah yeah. No, this is and the buttons all feel really nice and springy and- and you know, click as well just in time for wild rift, new League of Legends mobile game dropping soon we actually had a show match for it. A couple of days ago and yeah I'm pumped I'm pumped to give this game a spin.

I've played a good a lot of mobs in my day and uh even arena valor, which is um. You know probably the only mobile I've played. I didn't get super into it, but I think, with wild rift or even the Pok?mon mobile coming out like it's, it's actually pretty cool. If you guys haven't checked that out, you evolved throughout the game like you'll, go from a character to chameleon to Harvard for late game. It's kind of cool, we'll see how that ends up, but yeah.

It's going to be fun to play on this for sure um, with the yeah, with all the extra buttons and controls yeah, and you can also you know like the way it was originally with the centerpiece. You can just use it like that and connect to the phone via Bluetooth and just have it separate. So you can use the kickstand, for example, uh the aero active cooler and use the kickstand and then use the lunar separately. Just have that in your hand, you don't have to hold the phone um so yeah, and you can also do both yeah. So you can add this to the back.

Oh wow, so now you're decked out that's yeah, that's wild yeah, and then you can maybe think of some way to yeah add a battery pack. But why would you add a better pack? You already have six thousand Williams, but I was just thinking like. Is there something else that you can, you know add even more stuff you're like totally covered, because at the bottom of anything yeah you've got a know, an audio jack at the bottom. You've got charging at the bottom out of your hands way. So you know if you were trying to do a longer gaming session, you can be plugged in or plugged into a battery pack.

If that's what you truly want to do. Um yeah this is effect, effectively turns your device into like really a gaming device which is cool. That's what this phone's all about! Yeah, really, nice, yeah, very nice. I like Hokusai yeah to me. That's like a must.

I personally like, if I'm getting this phone, I'm getting it because I want the lunar and yeah well. Let's just say I think that's going to happen real soon as this is in the states. Sign me up, uh yeah, so you know as is the case in 2021 or was in 2020 uh. Things are a little slow at rolling out. Well with everything yeah everything is yeah yeah.

We know um. So speaking about other accessories, I know there's a couple headsets that we don't have samples of, but the go.2.4 is a headset that would work nicely with this with Bluetooth, yeah yeah. I'm I'm really excited about that. One, because I have the strip go 2.4 the wireless 2.4 gigahertz one and uh yeah. Just after I got it.

I heard that you know we're launching the Bluetooth one um, I'm really I'm definitely going to get the Bluetooth version now, so I'll, probably hand my wife, the 2.4 gigahertz wireless. There you go the Bluetooth one is, you know you can just pair it to your phone to your laptop to your desktop to several devices and that's just so convenient so, and the AI noise-canceling uh. It's perfect, so yeah big fan of that one, and then there's also the Petra 2 and et cetera, two core yeah, so the center ii core is without RGB lighting and the center ii is with RGB lighting and has active noise-cancelling which works pretty well. Um, yeah, really nice little in-ear headphones, awesome, uh, any other accessories that are coming out with this phone um. That's it there's gonna, be there is gonna, be uh the uh lighting cases, yes yeah.

Unfortunately, we don't we don't. We couldn't get one for today, but yeah it. I think we mentioned it in the kg phone three podcast right. I think we showed a prototype of it. Didn't we know we talked about it? I don't think we actually we talked about it.

We mentioned it yeah, but well that lighting case was the most well, not the most, but the very popular one. The very favorite accessory uh for the iPhone 3. yeah, yeah. We made a new one about iPhone 5, and it was it's going to be cumbersome yeah, so it essentially uh makes this uh logo in the back that glows much bigger, like yeah, yeah yeah five times bigger, basically takes the light, and it shines yeah. It diffuses the light essentially and spreads it out right.

Uh for this, the nursing is a little. Okay, all right, but we will see something to look forward to yeah cool uh. I don't know if we have any more questions from chat, but I think that that's pretty much if they're good they've been liking. It is a lot of a lot of questions about just you know the design and the build, and we talked about the water resistance on this um. What resistance is the thing like? I can see it's interesting how like in the last few years, everybody was talking about it and promoting it, and then I feel like around one year ago.

It started one or two years. Then everybody started to walk away from it, because the certification process is so complicated and in the end you know it's like even the phones that aren't certified are technically waterproof, or at least water resistant to the point that for most users it's good enough. So then more and more phone makers started to not actually advertise that they're waterproof right. I remember it was like. Oh, this one can go one meter on the water and this one can go 1.5 meters on the water and I think probably most people don't really use their phones that way and don't care so much. So that's why filmmakers are walking away from it, because it's really difficult to do, and the certification process is really long and expensive.

Yeah, expensive is like the thing that people don't think about yeah, you think about getting certifications, um. You know that all costs money and a lot of the times if you're releasing a phone every year, um, and you're able to achieve that. You know water resistance without getting the certification sweet matters and then also the compromises you have to make to make it really waterproof proof like you, can take it underwater in a swimming pool. Um, there's a lot of compromises you have to make. So I think overall, there's like a direction of people or filmmakers, are walking away from that or not.

You know focusing on it that much any more we've got a very excitable question, they're eager to know how limited will the ultimate ROG phone 5 be and which countries will be getting it first. Do we know if we do? We even know that we can okay well, for they will be um available in most of the countries that we sell kg phone five, but it will be limited in quantity. It's very limited in countries but limited in quantity. So this is going to be A-OK. So there's your answer, they're, not there's not going to be a lot of these.

That means it's not like uh, it's not like tense. So it's not like that kind of limited. Like you know, it doesn't really exist. It's just something we sent to media and that's it not like you can really buy it. If you really want one, you'll, you'll be able to buy it.

If you look for it earlier, you're, gonna, you're gonna, give me the email of whom I get to get that direct order in right, because okay, my phone needs to be replaced, and I need to place that order. Let's go sure cool like I said, I've been using it for uh for a few weeks, and I have to return my next Monday bummed about it, and I'm really considering buying one now yeah. It looks like an impressive device, and it's you know very versatile. So that's really nice um cool. I can't think of anything.

We didn't cover any thoughts that you might have dean any final things that you want to mention dual sim card. We didn't mention that there's dual sim card, it's dual sim card and just to clear that up in case some people were wondering so the first time I pulled it out. I was like, oh, I thought it's a dual sim, but it's only one sim slot, but no it's actually two sim cards back to back in that tray. So the tray is only the size to put in one sim card, but you can put one on top and one at the bottom. So it is a dual sim, which is really cool and really useful uh for anybody who you know, has a work, phone or work sim card like at ASUS.

We get a sim card from the company. We don't have to use it if we don't want to, but we get one and uh it's its really convenient because you can make calls internally for free. Essentially, you can call any co-worker for free and receive calls for free, and we get really nice deal here on internet unlimited data as well, but yeah. So the cool thing is, you can have that, and you can have your private sim at the same time. So you don't need to have two phones.

It was a common thing in the past, I've seen a lot of people, they have a work phone, and they have their private phones. They have two phones, two devices, and if you have two sim slots in your phone, you can essentially have that all in one- and you can decide like this sim muted after this time or on the weekend, I'm not getting any calls, and this sim, you can get a call whenever so yeah having dual sim is, is really uh really useful and also when you travel once all this. You know pandemic thing is over and you travel more. That's really helpful as well-being able to just go somewhere, and you just swap in a local sim, but you still have your original sim in there. You can get all the messages on messengers and phone calls and everything I don't know.

If we have the answer to this one, how many updates will the phone get throughout its life cycle? Do we have any idea, yeah good question um? Well, I have to say that we have to get back to that. Okay. Yeah! That's one of the questions where I didn't think we would have the answer yeah, because I really I'm not so sure about our plans and in the past, have we do you? Do you know how we've done it in the past so far um? I also need to check on that as well. Okay, yeah um in terms of in terms of let's say something yeah yeah yeah. We don't want to give anyone false information.

If we don't know, then we don't know um, but you know you can tweet at us, and we can try to get back to you in the future. We have all our social media accounts for that. So and of course, more information will be coming out when it comes to carriers, availability and pricing. I don't I don't um, we don't know anything about carriers and availability and pricing is the ultimate's. What I think it's 1300 us dollars for the ultimate.

So it's I believe, that's what I read yeah before tax. I think yes yeah um well for euro, it's going to be 12.99, okay, 12.99 euro for the ultimate and then the pro is probably to step down what is it like? 1000-Ish, 1100, yeah, it's like 11.99, but for pricing. You can check the launchpad video that we had all the perfect yep yeah um, or check the check your local ASUS uh website, ASUS website, kg, dot gt, you have it on there, yeah just rt. GG and yeah. I actually looked.

I didn't see the pricing on the site when I went to it personally, but I'm also probably blocking countries it's still, it's still being updated yeah because you know they're going to be rolling out. You know different times for every region and then that's when we'll see the stores and the pre-orders and whatever else when that happens, uh here in the U. S. that that hasn't happened yet and soon, but okay cool. Well.

I think that's! That's all the time we have today we went. This is the longest episode of pulse we've ever done guys, which is great. That means there's a lot to talk about. It means we had a lot of good questions in chat. So thank you, everyone for tuning in and for asking the questions during today's show yeah um dean and Sasha any shutouts or farewells you'd like to give before we head on out dean.

It's all you floor is yours. Oh me, well go buy Arduino, 5. , oh love it for those of you who haven't played Latham. Yet why the hell not oh man, 20 is infinite value game is, is uh really fun? Well, you know I'll, I'll make it real simple. I just got a flow x13 in the mail, and I'll be streaming with that tomorrow.

It's a really cool, transformative laptop that can be a laptop. It can be a tablet, and it has an external GPU which works as like a dock to use it like a desktop, so I'm actually going to get off and then transfer my whole streaming setup to that device, which is cool because a lot of laptops are tough to plug in multiple cameras. Audio interfaces mouse keyboard, this easy-peasy. So it's going to be a lot of fun so tune in tomorrow at uh, 3 p. m.

Eastern I'll be streaming well we're I'm testing two different games tonight I think, maybe I think I want to try elite dangerous, because elite dangerous has some cool utility that you can actually use the touchscreen to control the ship with. So the touchscreen on that laptop plugged into two external monitors would actually be part of my spaceship controls and I think that could be really cool. So I'm testing that tonight I hope it all works out, because I think that could be really neat but anyways check that out tomorrow hit the follow button here on twitch, if you're watching the YouTube VoD subscribe to our channel here we do these shows every week. Thank you all for tuning in we'll see you next time take care.
