Samsung S20 FE VS Samsung S20 Ultra Camera Test Comparison ! Cheaper & Better?

What is up guys welcome back to the channel. This is Dr Hammerstein, and today we have here the galaxy s20 Fe with the galaxy s20 ultra courtesy of Asif gadget house. So if you guys are looking for a new phone or a second phone or some mac books or whatever do check him out in the description below, I will leave a link to him. So you guys can check him out if you're in Malaysia, so today we're going to focus on the galaxy s20 Fe up against the 20 ultra Samsung have claimed that the Fe is still part of their galaxy s20 series. It is only coming at about 700 bucks and, while the galaxy s20 ultra, when it was first launched, came in like 1003 0004 super expensive half the price, the s20 f is half the price. So do let me know in the comments down below, if you think the camera is half of the galaxy s20 ultra in this video.

Just let me know if the stability is good. Your white balance is good. If there are any differences between both of these phones do leave a comment down below so without further ado, let's get into some other photos and some other videos, let's get right into it. So again in this type of videos, I have to say that both phones- they do give you very, very good shots individually and Sony when you put them side by side that you get to nitpick some stuff. You get to see some details here and there and in this first few shots you're going to notice that both phones, they do give you very, very similar results, and it's actually a good testament to Samsung for making it very consistent between their s20 lineups, even coming from the s20 Fe.

All the way to the s20 ultra colors and details on both phones are very, very similar, as you can see in the shots. But I would say, though, that the s20 Fe actually does have the better dynamic range. When you look at the shadows on the trees over here, you'll notice that it's a bit brighter compared to the s20 ultra, the 20 ultra would look a bit more detailed, but in general photos I think people will like the brighter shots coming from the s20 Fe. Shots taken with its main lens, ultrawide and telephoto are very, very similar to each other, and, as you can see here, when we're cropping into most of the shots, details are very, very well-preserved. Going from the main lens to the ultra-wide.

The photos will look a bit softer, but then again the colors and details are still very, very good to each other and again varies very similar to each other. So both the s20 FM and s20 ultra they do trade blows very consistently and, as you can see here, sometimes the s20 ultra does look better, but sometimes the s20 Fe actually does look a bit better again. I have to say that I'm very impressed that they kept the s20 fees quality very similar to even the galaxy s20, OSHA, which is about double the price of the galaxy s20 Fe and here are some more shots taken with its main lens ultra white and telephoto cameras, and, as you can see here in the same typical 2020 Samsung fashion, the photos will look a bit more punchy than it actually is. The s20 Fe has a three times optical zoom, whereas on the s20 ultra has a five times hybrid zoom. At this point, photos taken are very sharp, and the details are perfect.

The zoom on the s20 fem axes out at 30 times and at the same time with the s20 ultra, the s20 ultra, definitely does give you sharper images with more details. The s20 ultra does have one major advantage. It's 108 megapixel sensor when you crop it into this shot. You're going to see that it has more details, and it's sharper compared to the galaxy s20 Fe, and it's also able to zoom in a hundred times. But images will look very, very soft, both phones, they do not have a dedicated macro camera, but don't take anything away from them as they take very, very good close-up shots.

But I would say, though, that the galaxy s20 ultra would give you sharper images with better dynamic range. And, yes, it does look more detailed. Now, let's check out some portrait shots of what Samsung calls it live, focus, and immediately you'll notice that both phones are taken with different focal lengths and that's because on the galaxy s20 Fe, it's only able to use its ultra-wide lens to take portrait shots, whereas on the galaxy s20 ultra by default, it's using installing photo, but you can have the option to go to the ultra white lens. But for now you can just crop in using its main lens, and you still get a good amount of details and comparing it to the galaxy s20 ultra. It is pretty similar to each other.

I do hope that on the galaxy s20fe there will be a future update to use its telephoto camera and when you're, using the ultra white lens on the galaxy s20 ultra both phones again, they do give you very similar results. But I would say that the s20 Fe does have more details and the color is better on the galaxy s20 Fe. But again it's not in the same fashion as sometimes the s20 ultra does have better dynamic range, and it does handle the lights better than the galaxy s20 Fe, and you can see that more when we go on to harsh lighting conditions that the Galaxy S9 ultra does handle the dynamic range on my face better than the s20fe, even against the light, both phones. They do give you very, very good results and, as you can see here, when we crop in subject separation, details are very, very well-preserved. Now, let's check out some selfie shots, and it's a bit of a seesaw better here.

At one point, the galaxy s20 Fe does give you more details, but the skin color tone is better on the galaxy s20 ultra and again, when you're cropping into both of these shots. Subject, separation details are still very good on both of these phones, but again the galaxy s20 Fe does have a little more details compared to the galaxy s20 ultra and in trickier lighting conditions. Again, the s20 Fe keeps it consistent with the galaxy s20 ultra having more details, but different skin color tones compared to the 20 ultra. What is up guys? We are back here at our usual spot and I know it has been a while, but today we have the galaxy s20 Fe and the galaxy s20 ultra and you guys have known the s20 ultra and s20 plus when it came to the lights at the back. The white balance was a bit off and, as you can see here on the far end, if you look at some lights, it looks very blue even on both phones, I would say, and in natural, in just the real shots I'm taking.

It doesn't look that blue for some reason, the white balance is really off, and it follows here with the s20 ultra s20 Fe. But overall both phones are taking very sharp video over here. The skies on the back on the s20 ultra is a bit more bluish compared to the s20 Fe and compared to real life and also check out the stability on both of these phones. I am going to say that both phones are doing very well, but I would say maybe the s20 ultra does look a bit sharper and a bit better balance in terms of the light compared to the galaxy s20 Fe. So when it comes to night shots again, both phones are very, very similar again, which is very, very impressive, but when you switch on to its ultra-wide lens you're, going to notice a remarkable difference between both of these phones, the s20 ultra does give you brighter shots, but it does look a bit noisier, but on the s20 Fe, although it may look a bit sharper, but you can see here, the lighting condition is very, very poor.

I do hope. Samsung does fix this in future updates for its ultra-wide lens. Otherwise, both phones are very, very similar when it comes to night shots as well. So that is it. This is the camera comparison test between the latest galaxy s20 Fe up against the best galaxy s20 ultra.

For me personally, I feel that the s20 Fe does keep up with the s20 ultra a lot, and it's actually a good testament again like I said that the Samsung is keeping it very consistent in their s20 lineup. So, of course, do leave a comment down below which phones, you guys think, did better and if you're using any of these phones, do leave a comment down below on how it's performing for you so far in terms of the cameras, that is it if you did enjoy this video.
