GOOGLE PIXEL REVIEW AFTER THE HYPE #MadeByGoogle

Hi guys Cody Lopez here with Godzilla news, and it's been a few months since the Google Pixel has been released. So this is our review of the pill XL after the hype, like a majority of Android phones. These days, the Google pixels body is mostly aluminum. Our unit is the quite black color option, and it resembles a blend between an iPhone, HTC and equal ways: honor light thanks to the metal and glass design. It's certainly high-end. The phone provides an interesting contrast of materials.

It feels sturdy yet slick against your fingers, even though the last panel on the back is relatively small, it's prone to fingerprints and could be obtained to replace if damaged, but as far as comfort goes, it may be a big 5.5 inch phone, but it's comfortable to hold there's a slight Ridge on the edge of the phone for grip plus. We applied a skin for added risk and customization I'll put links in the description for those who want a similar look, but overall I think the pixels design is an effort to appeal to a larger market. We've had our unit for a few months and have yet to run into any hiccups or performance issues. Apps open quickly. Moving between screens is smooth and fast and applications load without stuttering.

Everything simply works. You can thank the Snapdragon 820 one processor, four gigs of RAM and 32 gigabytes of storage, for that sure would be nice to have a micros card slot for additional memory. However, you get a limited photo storage with Google photos at full resolution, a feature exclusive to the pixel. Another big reason why the pics will perform so well. Is the software there's nothing like a pure unaltered Android on a phone? The entire experience is very polished.

It's running Android nougat 7 11 and will continue to receive the latest software straight from Google. The pixel has a unique launcher and features that you won't find on any other Android phone well at least not yet. We have shortcuts on ABS called quick actions. A new night mode feature called nightlight that removes the blue hue from the screen to help with sleep and there's even an artificial, intelligent box called Google Assistant, it's essentially a personal assistant, to help with almost anything like search inquiries, translating a language and even holding a conversation plus it learns the more you use it. Finally, we see a true union of software and hardware on a Google made device.

Android has never looked better or run smoother now I'll admit that the battery died fast on the day, because I couldn't put the phone down, but over time the battery seems to even out on the pixel XL sure, on busy days, I'm forced to run to a charger before the end of the night. But on normal days you can easily get well over a day of battery life. It also has quick charging within the USB type-c port, which is great, but tons of Android phones have that most large phones can last nearly a day and a half and the pixel Excel is no exception. You can't go wrong with a high-end smartphone these days, but after testing many phones and extensive time with the pixel XL I can say it's camera it's easily one of the best, if not the best in the market it takes outstanding shots focus is super quick and processes, the automatic HDR+ mode, with incredible speed, like some other phones, the pixel Excel can tend to boost colors and saturation in images for a more heightened effect. But overall we are blown away with the level of detail and photos.

The video performance is no slouch either. The pixel can take smooth 4k videos at 30 frames per second thanks to a new stabilization technique from the gyroscope revving data about 200 times a second for a more shake free result. You can't name a phone pixel without a great camera and with the current highest camera rating of any smartphone, it definitely lives up to the name. If you could have noticed the pixel Excel is my favorite phone right now, and it's my current daily driver sure there may be some notable features missing, like micro, SD card support, stereo speakers and even water assistance, which makes the 770 dollar price tag a tough pill to swallow. But there's no better Android experience right now and with automatic software updates and security patches directly from the makers of Android.

The pixel Excel is currently a phone that will last longer than the traditional two-year time frame. If you liked larger phones and have the budget for it, we definitely recommend the pixel x 0 for more smartphone coverage visit our website at excellent news com, follow our social media for excellent technology news daily and be sure you're subscribed to our YouTube channel for more check infotainment once again on Cody Lopez with TeXes and news and I will see you all and on next vid.
