Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11S Unboxing (HD)

What's up in Jeff range from tech bargains, and this is the video unboxing of the Lenovo IdeaPad yoga 11s. No, no, it's some of you might be thinking. Didn't we just review a yoga 11:00 a few weeks ago? Technically you'd be right, but there are a couple of subtle differences between that system, and it's identical twin brother in the 11s. For one thing, this one uses Intel Core processors as opposed to the arm-based processors for the 11. This one also has Windows 8 64-bit for the operating system instead of the slightly substandard Windows RT. Now we just got the system into the office, and we thought we'd open it up and show you exactly what you can expect whenever you order one from Lenovo comm, or you pick one up at a store near you now.

The first thing that you'll notice is that it's very slim, which also fits within the framework of the Lenovo 11 and the 11s, as you can see. On top, we have the carrying case for the 11s, which will allow you to basically slip the small convertible laptop into that case and carry with you without being weighed down, of course, underneath that is the box for the 11s, and we're just going to put this over to the side right here we have the Quick-start guide, the instruction manual, some warranties other things like that. But once you get past all of those details right here, you have the 11s, and we're just again. I'm going to put that to the side, get to some other items inside this box, which houses, the power, cable and the power brick for the system. But let's again get back to the OK 11s.

Now, as you can see, it's definitely within the dimensions of the yoga 11 itself very much in the exact same form factor, but this was always essentially going to be the replacement of the original 11, which had the arm-based processors right now that they have the 5s and the sevens inside this system and a few other tweaks as well as Windows 8. This is definitely the smaller convertible form factor that Lenovo is always targeting now we'll get into some of those internal specs right after you take a really quick around the outside of this machine. So on this side you have your screen orientation, lock, one USB, 2.0 port, your memory card reader slot right there and finally, you have the power port for the machine right there. The rear of the system doesn't have anything to keep the back of it flexible for all the various modes that the 11s can change into. On this side, you happen to have your headphone microphone, combo port, one USB, 3.0, super speed, port HDMI port and your volume controls and finally, on the front, you have the power button to turn the system on and your Lenovo one key recovery button to restore the system to its factory state, the Lenovo IdeaPad yoga.11 s is powered by a third generation: Intel Core i5, 33:39 Y processor, running at 1.5 gigahertz. That can be boosted up to 2 gigahertz via turbo.

It comes with 8 gigabytes of RAM and is supplemented by Intel HD, graphics, 4000. It also comes with a 256 gigabyte, solid state drive and all content is displayed on the 11.6 inch 10-point, capacitive, LED backlit display with a native resolution of 1366 by 768 at 300 nits. Now, obviously, one of the other features of the yoga like its older brother, the 11 and the larger 13, is that it has multiple modes. Obviously this is the laptop mode, but you can also put it in tent mode right there. You can also have stand mode and finally, tablet mode for the system.

One other thing to notice that the 11 s has Dolby home theater version 4 for its audio presentation. So that's a really quick look at the Lenovo IdeaPad yoga.11 s be sure to come back to our website in the upcoming weeks, where I'll have a full review of this particular machine for the latest coupons and deals on systems like the yoga 11 s be sure to check out TEC bargains, comm, slash Lenovo, to enter our monthly giveaway, make sure you always check out TEC bargains, comm, slash, YouTube and to watch our video unboxing.
