Samsung Galaxy S10e vs iPhone SE (2020): Which is the better buy?

The galaxy s, 10 II, the last of its kind for the brand flagship. Yet compact- and this is a 2020 iPhone SE compact, yet flagship like features two completely different devices. The way they were created and thought out is completely different, but now especially in 2020, they both share a lot in common and fight for the same consumer. Now the question is: how does the Galaxy S 10 II hold its ground against the 2020 iPhone SE? Well, let's dive right in and see which is the better Buy design. Remember the galaxy s Titian came out in 2019 for 750 and was considered a flagship. Now you can obviously find it for much cheaper, but the build quality and design is actually perfect.

The same goes for the iPhone SE, but let's talk about the s10, a first glass sandwich front and back. It's got a headphone jack, USB type-c, a dual camera setup, a 5.8-inch full HD, AMOLED display, which is just insanely good. It's built and feels like well a flagship because it is one of the hole, punch and having less bezel on the phone really helps. Furthermore, it feels compact and comparable to 20/20 iPhone SE overall design on the Aston II is respectable now the iPhone SE. This is where things get very interesting.

This design has been around since 2014, starting from the iPhone 6, but it resembles the iPhone 8, the most with its glass bag and no headphone jack good thing. The glass bag supports wireless charging. The front has huge bezels, which are accompanied by touch ID. Now. This design is definitely not 2020 standards by all means, but people are fine with this design and I feel that only applicable this off by releasing a recycled design with updated, specs.

Honestly I really don't mind this design. Now imagine if Samsung re-release, the Galaxy s5 with update specs like 8 gigs of ram and the snapdragon 865, would people buy it? Probably not? Okay, so I said I, don't mind the design of the iPhone SE, but if I had a choice, I would go with the Galaxy S 10 a design, it's just more modern and up today and I really don't like the Lightning connector on the iPhones. If only Apple would go USB Con the iPhones, they want us PC for the MacBook and the iPad, so one would expect them to go USB on the iPhone, but I don't think they will. Why do you ask well think about it? I'll give a hint Apple software. These are two totally different devices that run to absolutely different software's iOS on the iPhone and Android.

On the galaxy s. A neat thing is when it comes to software. It's all about you. Yes, you, the user, are you committed to the Apple ecosystem and enjoy the iOS features, or are you an avid Android user? They both get the job done either way. Now both the Galaxy has tiny and the iPhone SE run the Lay's software, the galaxy s team key on Android 10 and the iPhone SE on HBO's 13.

But the important thing to remember is not what they're running right now, but how long they will receive those software updates and guess what the iPhone is going to do. A better job. Hands-Down expect four to five years of software updates. That means we can be using the iPhone SE with its out day design with the latest software in 2025. As for the galaxy s any well, you might get an update to Android 11.

Can you use the Galaxy S 'tony in five years? Technically, yes, new and updated apps just won't be supported. The bells and whistles of both iOS and Android are out there and clear as day. The iPhone doesn't really give as much customizability as Android would, but I feel that's quite easier for many people to handle Samsung, they add their own customized skin on top of Android one UI and believe it or not, but I really enjoy one UI Samsung has spotless up the experience and has made it easier, much easier for people to use, look if you're an Android user but still wants to try out the iOS ecosystem. You still can by doing that by installing Google services on your iPhone I do want to address the question, though, which platform would I personally choose now normally I would choose Android hands-down, but we need to focus on what phones we're talking about right now. So keeping that in mind I would choose the iPhone SE and the iOS experience over the Galaxy S ten experience with Android by the way, if you're, enjoying the video so far, I'd really appreciate it.

If you can give this video a thumbs up and turn on the bail notifications, as it does help out the YouTube algorithm and pushes my content to more people camera, so Samsung has typically done very well with their cameras on their flagships on the Aston II you'll be getting the same camera lens and quality as the ones on the s10 and at some plus/minus, the telephoto lens, which is perfectly fine by me. By now many of you who watched my videos before know that I don't use my smartphone as much for photos. Okay, now wait, there's the iPhone I see it has one single rear camera coming at 12 megapixels, which is actually perfect thanks to the help, of course, of the 13 Bionic chip. Now there is a night mode on the iPhone SE and yeah I, don't mind it too much, but for my limited use, the daylight photos come out very good, and I'll have I'll have to say, so they look better than the Galaxy S tourney when it comes to video. The iPhone.

Se is the clear winner, and you know what I mean if you use an iPhone before, if this phone you're going to use is for YouTube vlogging social media or your main powerhouse for photos, but especially videos go with the iPhone SE battery, you know the galaxy has to need does perform better. Let me tell you that, obviously, being inside during this time, it's been difficult to really test the iPhone SE z-- battery, but from what I have come to it lasts me. If I just respond to some emails text browse the web or use social media, you know the light work. If I start to watch YouTube videos or play some games, then the battery begins to deplete much quicker now for an average consumer. This phone's battery should be fine.

However, if you are consistently on your phone, get ready to charge your phone every day or often or carry a portable charger. Now for the Galaxy S 2 name you'll see a significant improvement in battery life from the iPhone SE. This fall will get you throughout the entire day. It does have a larger display and a higher resolution, but it also has a higher battery capacity coming at 3000 William hours, whereas the iPhone SE comes in around 1821 million powers. I have to give credit to Apple.

For one thing, though, that is standby time, the iPhone SE will not drain a single percent when not in use. You can wake up in the morning with the same percentage, but I can't say the same for the s any I lose about 3 to 4 percent by the morning, and while that might not sound like a lot, the numbers do add up. During the day we look at phones in 2020, and they come packed with the 5000 million power battery, which is insanely good, but with these phones they consume less. So they don't need that big of a capacity. So if you're asking me about which phone is better with battery life, I'm going to have to say the galaxy s2 need it just last longer with more heavy use extras.

Both phones have wireless charging both have a quick charge, although you need to buy the fast charger separately for the iPhone, the Galaxy S Tony has a headphone jack. The iPhone does not. They both have a physical fingerprint sensor. Now, I count this as an extra, because well, companies have shifted away from this option, and now we're getting in display fingerprint sensors or face unlock. Nothing beats the easy method of a physical fingerprint scanner.

One thing I really like is that the iPhone SE, like all other iPhones, has a physical slider to mute your volume and, to be honest, this comes in super clutch. Plus also has something very similar, like the iPhone on their phones and I really do appreciate it price the 64, gig ? SE comes in at 399 now. I think that the perfect option is the 128 gig model for 449. You only pay an extra 50 bucks. As for the Galaxy S 'tony.

Well, you can find one like I did on Amazon for about 350 now, keep in mind. I bought mine, Amazon renewed. So this price of 350 is Amazon renewed, but it's lately in perfect condition. If price really does play a role, maybe you should lean towards the SME. If you really keep looking, you can even find one from less than 350 yeah 350 400.

These prices are still not cheap as quite a lot of money. However, when you compare them to something like $1,000 iPhone and a pro with a $1,400, the Hulk says tween ultra then well yeah. We call these phones budget-friendly for me and doing what I do it's quite normal to own, both these phones, but if I weigh my opinion for 350 or maybe even less the galaxy s, tinny might be the better pick. You got the extra money, though that's when I would say, go for the iPhone and see whether you want the galaxy s, honey or the iPhone SE that all comes down to you and your preference. You really need to think about what you needed a phone and which ecosystem you are more comfortable using $400 is the perfect price to enter the Apple ecosystem, especially with a brand-new iPhone.

Destiny is a perfect compact flagship for 2019 that still performs like a champ I've, never really understood the battle between Android and iOS. Everyone has their own opinion, and they can favor whatever they want. Both platforms fulfil a person's need and desires. The only difference is how each platform attacks that problem. Both phones are perfect by, but if you really want to know my opinion, I'm going to have to say that I would choose a 2020 iPhone and see overall for 400 bucks is a perfect phone for me.

For me, that's right to enter the Apple ecosystem, albeit my opinion, will also apply to a lot of other people. You can find the galaxy s2 n? for 350 or even less that is it perfect steel ? I personally would choose the iPhone SE, because it's like I said it's the perfect iPhone for me to enter the Apple ecosystem. It doesn't make any big sacrifices that affect the way I use a phone. Obviously, the ultimate decision is yours. They are both very capable phones.

However, do you want the 2019 compact flagship phone, or do you want a 20/20 phone with compromise? I really do think that over you want to spend $400 every two years for a new phone or $400 every five years, like I said that is up to you, but whenever you decide on, you won't be disappointed anywhere.
