What's up everybody kitten right here, so, as you know, in recent times there have been reports of companies that have secured a license to supply chipsets to Huawei, for example, AMD intel, Sony, etc. all have licenses. However, some of these licenses comes with some restrictions so due to that, Huawei can't accept them as a chip making company or a chipset provider. Anyway, there were reports that Qualcomm has obtained a license to supply chips to Huawei. However, the latest reports now shows that Qualcomm's license doesn't come with a lot of restrictions, but it doesn't mean it doesn't: have restrictions at all Qualcomm, just can't supply 5g chipsets to Huawei right now, like they can only supply 4g chipsets to Huawei right now. Of course, very few manufacturers still releases 4g smartphones, but Huawei still can find a way to get 5g in their future smartphones.
And you know what is the most surprising part. The upcoming Huawei p50 series could come with the latest snapdragon 875 chipsets, which is a surprising news though, and that rumor could be true, because Huawei can't get further Karen chipsets, and they also get the permission to receive chipsets from Qualcomm. So right now they don't have any other option. So I think this is a good news, and even it is saying that there is a high demand for the recently announced mate 4 series. However, it is mainly because of the limited availability of the Karen 9000 chipsets, so Huawei is rapidly unable to manufacture more made for a pro or the mate 40 pro plus smartphones.
Hence, there are speculations that the company may temporarily sell snapdragon 875 powered mate 40 models. Yes, you could see a snapdragon powered made for a pro as well in the near future, which is again good news for Huawei, though, because I would say it's still better to at least make phones instead of stopping the whole production anyway, apart from the snapdragon chipsets, Huawei is also expected to launch media tech, powered phones. In the absence of the current chips, it was reported last week that Huawei managed to secure a big stock of MediaTek's dimension chipsets before September. But honestly, I'm really looking forward to seeing a snapdragon power phone if Huawei doesn't get its absolute beast current chip, because, according to my point of view, current chipsets are the best they have 5g capabilities, integrated, plus a lot of AI features, and after current chipsets I will prefer snapdragon Huawei phones for some time until Huawei managed to get its own chipsets. So what do you think about it? Are you guys interested to see a snapdragon powered, Huawei p50 or the p50 pro in the near future, share your thoughts in the comments down below and if you somehow like this video, it's up to the channel will make my day so as always I'll catch you guys in the next one peace out?.
