OPPO Reno 3 Pro Review: The 44MP Selfie Camera is Superb

This is the Oppo Renault 3 pro, and it comes in this new green packaging comes with paperwork, folk charger headphones, an USB, cable and a CPU case. That's it for now. Thanks for watching k, thanks bye, the Reynolds series has always been one of the more interesting smartphone series coming from opp, and I like the design approach that they did on the first and second generation where they feature a full screen design with a selfie camera that looks rather interesting, but on the Renault 3 pro things seem to have changed a bit as the company has not continued that design trend and they kind of use back a more conventional or should, I probably say, a safer design approach, because there's this pure shape, cutout that houses, a 44, megapixel camera and a two megapixel both lens. So I was a little disappointed when I look at the phone in this way. But you know what there are several things that I still love about: the Oppo Renault 3 pro, and this is my review about it after 2 weeks, starting off with the design I like how comfortable it feels to hold because of its curved edges on the back. The power and volume buttons are located at a nice position where it feels right to press.

This is a phone where you really don't want to put on the case as the grading glass back is an attention seeker, although no pun intended it still attracts fingerprints like any other glossy glass material. The Renault 3 pro features a 6.4 inch, full HD plus super AMOLED panel, with great outdoor visibility and viewing angles. It also employs an in-screen fingerprint reader that works very well even with wet sweaty hands, although I would have preferred a snapdragon chipset powering the Renault 3 pro the MediaTek hello p95 performs exceptionally well during the review period. It also has 8 gigabytes of ram and 256 gigabytes of internal storage, and you can expand storage with a dedicated micro SD card slot. The phone has been very responsive in launching apps during the review period, and I detect no signs of slowing down even after using for extended periods.

That's also because Oppo did a great job in optimizing. Color OS, 7's memory management, the company's custom android skin, has come a long way from being a messy and gimmicky software to a more functional and straightforward user experience, though I still find it at times to be too extreme in forcing certain apps to sleep, social media apps are thankfully not affected. Let's hope, Oppo fixes that in a future, software update the Renault 3 pros new quad camera system features a 64, megapixel, f, 1.8, wide angle, 30, megapixel, telephoto, 8, megapixel, ultra-wide angle and a 2 megapixel monochrome lens. Like other high resolution cameras, it shoots at a pixel beam, 16 megapixel resolution by default, and you will need to enable it manually. It could even go all the way up to 108 megapixels using super sampling.

If you think that isn't enough, the main lens produces impressive daylight photos with good contrast and reasonably sharp details. Low light, photography is one of the best I've seen and even at extreme dim lighting. The phone's ultra night mode was able to capture an impressive photo without causing too much noise levels. The telephoto lens features a 5 times hybrid zone, which I think is perfect, even though there are some loss in details, while the ultra-wide angle lens is one of the best I've seen that has very minor distortion and no soft focus issues. I am even more impressed with the 44 megapixel selfie camera.

It shoots at 40 megapixels by default, and I definitely don't see any reason to enable its maximum resolution. The details it produces in low light is hands down the best I've seen when compared to a flagship phone selfie camera. However, when it comes to videography, I'm a little disappointed to see a huge compression in video quality, although the ultra steady video feature does help in eliminating shakes and improved detail in 1080p video quality. Just isn't as impressive that I have seen back on the rain 2. The front camera also lacks 4k, video, shooting and video stabilization, so it isn't a phone made for vlogging the window.3 pro may not support a huge 5 000 William hour battery, but it is quite the endurance champ, as it usually lasts, till the next day, with a 4-hour screen on time and up to 2 days, if you are not pushing it too hard. The 30 watt folk charger is a lifesaver when you need to get back fast on track as it charges up to 50 in a mere 30 minutes.

Overall, the Oppo Renault 3 pro is an excellent smartphone, and you should definitely consider it if you are not thinking to pay too much for a premium smartphone for a great smartphone photography experience at 23.99 ringgit. This isn't really expensive, nor it is affordable, but I would really hope Oppo would kind of reduce the price a little to make this a more attractive option. Now, that's pretty much about my review of the Oppo reyno3 pro. Let me know your thoughts in the comments subscribe to our channel.
