We've got certification, specs features and after plenty of renders online, we finally got the first reveal of the smartphone. Now before we get started, please like the video, if you're a Samsung fan. Let me know down in the comments what country you're actually watching today's video from so first, we've got the certification of the Samsung Galaxy a52.

Now, as we know, devices are generally certified much closer to launch when it comes to the galaxy a52. We've had the tennis, certification, 3c, certification and bis certification, so all signs are pointing to a launch very soon its predecessor was launched in December 2019. We know that the galaxy a52 is coming in q1 of 2021, so while it could be January, it's most likely going to be February. Furthermore, we previously had renders leak from on leaks along with some key specs that gave us plenty of details. They show us that the Samsung Galaxy a52 is again going to be a full screen display with the punch hole, selfie camera top center.

The leak revealed that the a52 is going to be coming with a 6.5 inch display and the selfie camera is reportedly going to be a 32 megapixel wide angle, camera on the rear. We can see a quad camera setup, along with the LED flash now, according to a leak from galaxy club, the primary camera on the a52 is going to be upgraded to a 64 megapixel wide angle camera. On top of this, we get a 12 megapixel ultra-wide, a 5 megapixel macro and a 5 megapixel depth sensor. Now, there's no fingerprint scanner on the rear and the reason for this is it's using an in-display fingerprint scanner and because this is a more budget-friendly option. The back panel is made of plastic, although it does have a glass-like finish now.

The total dimensions of the phone are 159.9 by 75.1 by 8.4 millimeters, and if we also include the camera bump, it's 10 mil the renders also revealed that we get a three and a half mil headphone jack, and that is going to please many, and this was further backed up by the live photos, but we'll be covering that in a second now Steve at on leaks predicted a price of 499, and this is of course, for the 5g model, so the LTE version would be cheaper. Next up, we've got a live, photo leak of the rear panel from a prototype of the galaxy a52. This was provided by 911 mobiles. While it is low quality, it does give us plenty of information. It's got a glossy finish all over, and this does look like a plastic back and, to be honest, a phone in this price bracket from Samsung is always likely to have a plastic back panel inside the camera module.

We can clearly see five dots that look exactly the same placements as we saw in the renders, so this will be for the four cameras, along with the LED flash on the bottom. We can see a clear cutout for the three and a half mil headphone jack, along with an USB type c, cutout, of course, for charging the galaxy a52 is going to come packaged with a 15 watt charger, as this was revealed in the 3c certification, and it's always nice to get a charger inside the packaging. So a lot of information coming through for the Samsung Galaxy a52 we're now going to run through the full specs for those of you that are waiting to purchase this great budget friendly offering from Samsung. So the Samsung Galaxy a52 is a mid-range device from Samsung. It's coming with a 6.5 inch. Super AMOLED display, with a full HD plus resolution of 1080 by 2400 and an aspect ratio of 20 by nine.

We get a punch or selfie camera on the front, and this is reportedly going to be a 32 megapixel wide angle. Camera on the rear. We've got a quad camera setup. It's reportedly going to be a 64 megapixel main a 12 megapixel ultra-wide, a 5 megapixel macro and a 5 megapixel depth camera. The 4g variant is expected to be powered by the snapdragon 720 g and the 5g version is powered by the 750g, we're expecting the choice of six or eight gigabytes of ram with 128 gig internal storage.

But it does, thankfully, have micros support the phone's going to be powered up by a 4 000 William hour battery with 15 watt fast charge support, but of course it doesn't have wireless charging. We get 5g on the 5g version, Bluetooth 5 in the in display fingerprint scanner, and the phones, of course, can ship with one UI 3 based on android 11. The 4g version is expected to launch around 400 and for those that want, the 5g version expect to pay a hundred more. So it's going to be around 500. Now still no release date has been confirmed at this time, but we know it's q1 of 2021 and, as I said, it's most likely going to be February.

But overall it's looking like a great mid-range offering from Samsung, and I'm sure many are excited to see the launch of this phone as more solid information comes to light I'll, be sharing it with you guys straight away, but as always I'd like to know your thoughts in the comments who out there is excited about the Samsung, galaxy, a52 and you're waiting for the 4g or the 5g model.
