Hey, what's happening everybody, so today I wanted to talk about the battery life on the Samsung Galaxy s20 Fe. Here we go. Let's go to the settings device care battery usage. As you can see here, it has not been that good long story, short uh. It has the 120 hertz refresh rate. I usually run the display at about 85 or 90 right before it gets to uh right before it gets to the right there.
I run it about right there. This is where I keep it at that right there so yeah. So I am only getting as you can see here the screen on time, and I'm already done the 39. My screen on time is only three little over three and a half hours and uh, but, like I said I have 100 120 hertz. I have the display turned up to about 85.
I guess and uh yeah gaming on this phone is a lot of fun. Watching videos and just scrolling and looking at things in general is fun because it looks so good, and it looks so smooth. It's not choppy, it's not stutter, so it makes it seem so much faster. So if you want to get better battery life from your s20 Fe, I recommend you turn down to 60 hertz all right, because look at the end of the day, you don't need 120 hertz to look at your email or to you know, just you really don't need it. I mean come on, but at the same time it's the reason.
You buy a phone like this, so you can do all that, and I've been gaming a lot again. I've been uh playing a lot of asphalt. Eight, that's the Samsung game, Samsung game launcher right. There. I've been playing a lot of asphalt.
Eight I've been having a ton of fun with this device right here. So that's maybe another reason. My battery life isn't that good, but I am comparing it to other devices like the iPhone 11 Pro maps. I mean this device right here. The s20 fan edition has a 4500 William battery, so I am expecting it to do a little battery a little battery a little better in the battery life department.
So that's you know, look let's come over here. Let's do this real fast device care right there battery. So you see all this stuff power mode. Optimized, and I mean I'm running optimized right I mean I could go medium power saving, but you know I really don't have that's not why I have these phones. You know I don't want to.
I like optimized all right so anyway, and I could go high performance, but that would really really really you know, put a yeah that would stop stuff. So right here you have adaptive power saving, set the power mode automatically based on your usage patterns to save power when it's not needed yeah. So you can turn that on right there and that would probably help. I don't know I want to leave it on. I guess I haven't had it on.
Furthermore, I will try it all right so anyway, so adaptive power saving, you can turn that on see what happens. Furthermore, I was just kind of wanting to run the phone just kind of wide open, but we'll see how that goes from there. As far as other things, you can do. Well, you know it's all up to you. I know for those of you that watch my videos.
You all know that I do not like power saving mode, I'm not even all that I want my phone to run wide open, and I want to get good battery life so on this, oh man on a scale of 1 to 10. So far on this phone. You know I'm giving it a 7 for battery life all right, so I mean it's not horrible, and I'm sure if I was to be more conservative with it, I don't want to be conservative. But if I was to be more conservative, the battery life would be a lot better but anyway, so if you're, a normal user, if you're just day-to-day, having doing your thing, you'll get good battery life, you'll get all-day usage, you might even get a day and a half, but if you're running it the way, I am if you're just going full speed having fun. No you're not gonna, go a whole day with this device, and that I'm just saying that's from a power user perspective and when I say power user.
It's not like I'm doing anything like intelligent with this device right here um. You know social media video games, taking photos, recording videos, Bluetooth, music, I'm doing everything consistently with it, but on the other hand, you know the iPhone 11 Pro max. I'm doing that consistently with that as well, and that battery just lasts forever. Okay, so yeah, I want to keep running. This is my daily driver and I want to see how it goes.
You know, I know people always say it takes time for a phone to settle in blah blah blah. Okay, fine, but I want to keep running. This is my daily driver. I want to keep pushing it just keep having fun with it, because we buy these phones to have fun. We don't buy these phones just to like turn on all the power modes and like set it down and not touch it.
We buy these phones to use. Furthermore, we buy these phones to get on Facebook. Furthermore, we buy these phones hold on. Here. Furthermore, we buy these phones to play video games.
Furthermore, we just have fun so yeah. So if you run your battery down really fast, so be it that's something for this video thank all of you for watching, and I'll catch. All of you in the next one.
