Mi Note 10 Lite vs Mi 10 Lite Zoom - Are Lite Phones WORTH IT?

Hi guys its Frankie from Frankie Tech good to see you guys again, and I'm here today trying to answer a question that has come up recently in conversations and that question is: are light phones worth it because, as we have seen recently, Xiaomi has been releasing a lot of phones, and this me know 10 light is the latest light entrant in the series of the Men 10 and is the light version of the 10 series that we saw earlier this year and now inherently I? Don't think that light phones are bad I think there are great things that you can do and get certain strategies of how you approach. Life phones may be better than others. Now, looking at these two files right here, we have the Men 10 light, which is essentially taking everything that was great about the Men 10, but lowering certain aspects of it. So that means removing that 108 megapixel camera from the original Men 10 series and including a 64 megapixel Sony, imx6 86, which mean you look at the recent shots I just took, are looking perfect. It's not even that much of a compromise in this case add to that the beautiful metallic build quality of this phone, and we may have one of the most beautiful mid-range phones in this Men 10 light series. But then we have another strategy from Xiaomi and that's to create a whole other line amongst of phones and that's the case with this meat analyte and 10, like zoom series or as it's known in China than me.10, youth, 5g and this front doesn't really take anything from the 10 series. It's a completely different design.

You have a plastic build quality here with larger bezels, and even though this phone was just recently released in China, I would say that the note, 10 series design is still more modern, with very tiny bottom bezels. And yes, the notch is a bit more significant, but you do have that curved edge. That does make the phone feel very comfortable in the hand I'm, not a huge fan of these curved edges and I kind of like how they've reduced them. Now, on the 10 series, but all in all I would say the design of this Minor 10 light is so better than the one of the 10 light, and both of these phones are rocking gorgeous 6.47 or 6.57. AMOLED displays Snapdragon, 700 series processors, the 7:30, which is still no slouch here in 2020, and the amazing 765 Qualcomms upper mid-range 5g chipset, six gigs of ram to start UFS 2.1 on both of these phones and the Men 10 light has adopted that 5260 mill ampere capacity battery. That is a big reason.

Why I wanted to check this phone out now. This may once again become the battery king of Frankie TEC, taking the title back from the Remy K 30 Pro, which has done so well in my drain series, and you see here the backs of these phones. Once again, the Men 10 light implementing the same look of its regular series here. While this me 10, like zoom, is doing something different. This is the design we are starting to see from Xiaomi in 2020, with their camera arrangements and with their kind of gradient, green to blue backs and so stay tuned guys for the full comparison.

There's another phone here that will be joining this comparison, that's right guys that will be reviewing the Nubia Play 5g, which were that 144 Hertz display is gonna. Make for a very interesting triple comparison. So stay tuned for that. But let's answer this question now, which strategy of a light phone do you think works best? Is it better to create a whole new design and create a whole new series of phones that then, in turn takes the name me 10 light, or do you like the idea that Xiaomi waits six months and then is able to offer a very similar SPENT phone with maybe a slight downgrade in terms of camera, but is still able to offer that gorgeous design of a previously more expensive phone in this Men 10 light coming in at 2500 Hong Kong dollars, I'm, so glad I purchased this phone guys, because before I did my perception of light phones that Xiaomi was creating was a little rough. This meat and light did a lot of things right, but it has also done a few things wrong, in my opinion, with a design and a larger bezel that I think a lot of you guys say this looks very 2018 to the plastic, build quality and that 48 megapixel OFNI vision sensor, which I consider, unfortunately, the deal-breaker for this phone in many ways, and so that just made me ponder why couldn't Xiaomi just wait six months and then take a previous design lower the costs? Lower some specifications and release that as a meat and light, imagine a meat online release at the end of the summer.

Pretty much takes the exact designed as this me 10 series maybe reduces the specs to a snapdragon 765, but includes all the bells and whistles that we love about this phone. Imagine if that phone was released and then a price much lower than what the normal me 10 series is coming in at that's kind of what they've done here with this Minor 10 light and I. Think that's the very exciting thing about this phone I wasn't too jazzed about the Snapdragon 730 processor until I started using this phone, and it is a terrific processor guys, it will still be a solid one to include in a phone for the next year. That's how good this processor was when it debuted on the 90 last year, and it's almost like you just had to wait six months for this light version to come out with the same gorgeous design and finish as the Men 10, but at a much lower cost. The Men tensors is still costing 3400 Hong Kong dollars, and this phone can be had for almost a thousand honking, almost on 120 US dollars.

Less and I think that alone makes this Men 10, like the best example of a light phone that we can see from Xiaomi here in 2020, but hit me up in the comments guys. What do you think of light phones? Do you like the strategy of waiting a bit of time and then releasing a lower-cost version with the same design as the previous models, or do you like a whole new design for light phones? Even though that means you have to sacrifice with plastic, build quality and inferior cameras? Let me know what you think in the comments I'd love to hear about it, and that's it for this quick video. If you liked it give me that thumbs up and if you loved the concert or prank tech subscribe to the channel, hit the bell icon for future updates. That's right! Guys, quick video today, because I'm going to be off to go and get that Nubia. Play 5g it'll be the first time we see a 144 Hertz refresh rate here on the channel stay tuned, guys for that full street tech unboxing and stay tuned, of course, for that full triple comparison, where we'll jump into the specs and a whole Peggy showdown with those phones stay tuned.

So that's it, and this is where I leave you by saying this is Frankie tech signing off have a good one. You.
