Just, a few months after launching the Aka HCC has raised the bar again with a brand new 11. This phone has the same visual appeal and a drastically improved feature set button lower sticker price, which raises a lot of questions. Here's our review of HTC's, true flagship for 2017, the HTC. U 11 has the same colored glass rear as the new ultra, except in a lighter shade. It's made by molding, multiple layers of glass with refractive minerals into a contoured shape. You will see different colors under different lighting conditions, and it's really impossible to prevent fingerprints and smudges from building up.
Thankfully, the glass rear isn't too slippery, and it's easy to use this phone even with one hand. The 5.5-inch screen is bright and vivid with a high resolution. It isn't extra tall and doesn't have curved sides like some of today's other premium phones. But everything looks great and movies and games are both fun. The open slit on the bottom is actually a roof of the U 11 geography piece covers as a tweeter and the two together deliver surprisingly powerful and clear sound.
You also get HD CSU sonic noise-canceling headset in the box, you'll notice that there is no 3.5 millimeter audio socket. However, the U 11 is rated ip67 for water and dust resistance, which is always a good thing. One of the UL Evans unique touches is the edge sense feature which you use by squeezing the sides of the phone gently. You can choose what happens when you do this. For example, you can squeeze wants to launch the camera app, even when the phone is in standby and once more to quickly capture a shot.
It's very easy and soon becomes second nature, with a Qualcomm Snapdragon, 835 SOC and 6 GB of RAM. There's plenty of power for all of today's apps and games plus headroom for the future benchmarks returned excellence cause even in graphics tests. We have zero trouble with the U 11 in everyday situations, and even heavy games ran well, there's also 128gb of storage space, a 3000 William hour battery and all the usual wireless connectivity standard. The U 11 runs Android 7.1 with HTC Sense UI, the highly touted Sense companion, AI voice assistant still hasn't been released. So all you get are basic notifications about places of interest, nearby activity, tracking and weather updates, HTC pioneered new cameras on smartphones, but is now one of the few companies that isn't offering that feature? The U 11 has only a single 12, megapixel rear camera, and we were blown away by what it can do.
Photos are crisp and clear, with beautiful colors on incredible detail. Macros look great shots taken at night are so bright and detailed that you sometimes can't believe they weren't taken by a professional camera. Videos are just as good -. This is easily one of the best smartphone cameras currently available. On the other hand, battery life is just about average.
We got through a day with moderate gaming and media streaming over LTE, but we would have liked more. Thankfully, fast charging is supported with its brilliant camera eye, catching design and powerful hardware. The HTC! U 11, is a serious contender in the 2017 flagship market, even if you are leaning towards the Samsung Galaxy S8 for its style or the one plus five for its low price. You should give this option some serious power. The U 11 is a brilliant piece of technology, and it's nice with the HTC at the top of its game.
