Boy this stone- oh my god, look how beautiful it is. Hey guys welcome back to my channel, thank you for stopping by, as you can see, you're on title today. It's an exciting one. I'm going to unbox my iPhone 12 Pro max in pacific blue in 256 gigabytes as the current phone that I'm using is the iPhone 7 plus, and this is 128 gigabytes and I definitely maxed out on this storage. So I thought it was wise to increase my storage amount, as I'm going to use this new phone for three to four years, and then I'm going to give this old phone to my mom, and I'm gonna change like the screen protector and that stuff anyway yeah. So I pre-ordered this phone on the 6th of November.

However, my delivery date was for the 30th of November, as you can see, today is not the first of November, so I picked up my phone today at the Apple Store. So what I did was I cancelled my pre-order um as I went on the Apple website, and I discovered that you could pick up your phone tomorrow. So what I did yesterday, I cancelled my pre-order, basically ordered the new phone again and then just selected collection rather than delivery and yeah, I'm so excited. Since I was expecting this phone to come on the 30th. I did not prepare no screen protector case, so I definitely went on Amazon last night to buy this last minute and got prime, so it came today as well and yeah.

I can't wait to unbox this, for you guys. Furthermore, I hope you guys don't mind the light in as it's quite dark outside, but yeah I'm just going to get on to it and take the box out of this bag and oh girl, she's thick. Oh, it's actually got a bit of weight to it. Not going to lie, but yeah compared to our iPhone 7 plus box. This box is definitely way beautiful um.

It looks like similar size when it comes to height and um width wise, but depth um. Definitely this is a lot thicker as it came with charger and earphones. As you guys, probably already know, the new iPhone doesn't come with the charging or earphones. So this 1.2k is a big ass investment, um yeah, a lot of people have compared this phone to the iPhone 4 as well. This is one of my old phones and I just can't believe I used to use this phone so tiny.

So from this phone to a bigger phone and now even bigger with my small hands, hey, I'm excited to use this phone. The only thing I'm going to miss from the iPhone 7 plus will be the home button. As I love touch ID, it's so convenient so having the face ID, I don't know how it's going to go, especially nowadays when we had to wear masks. I guess I just had to use the passcode to unlock my phone, but yeah really excited to unbox this now, just to let you know, I'm literally your typical average consumer, I'm not a tech freak. All I know is that this is the best phone that apple has come out with and yeah, let's get on to it, so I'm just gonna um.

Do this flab? Oh, oh, oh! How do I do this flap? Oh my god. It says it has a little green arrow to pull up, so I'm just going to pull up. Oh my god, I don't know. Should I put this on the table now: okay, I'm gonna, lift this going to up this box out the phone guys nah, nah. This is a light.

This sorry about my expressions but boy this phone. Oh my god, look how beautiful it is. It definitely looks um different in lots of different light ins, but look online in person is too beautiful. It's too beautiful anyway. Let me just put: let me just change the camera angle.

Actually, so, as you can see here, the iPhone 12 Pro max is very similar in size with my iPhone 7 plus, but it's just the whole screen without the home button, but yeah, I'm going to unbox this Amazon parcel and get the screen protector so inside my Amazon box was the case and the screen protector here, and this is the one that was able to deliver today. I actually wanted to get the think, ESR one, but that could only deliver on Monday, and then I got this screen protector for my mom. This is for the seven plus I wish. I set this camera angle from the beginning, but anyway, I'm going to put the screen protector on, and this is the one that I've got um. It is the ultra-thin tempered glass, I'm not too sure how ultra-thin.

Does that mean it's going to be very protective, but it comes with this like case thing, interesting and free tempered, glass and some wipes and um. This might take a while. So I'm gonna just speed through the process. Ah, but I've broken the screen protector round two with this protector thing um. Hopefully I don't make the same mistake as earlier sorry for the mess, but this is actually quite stressful.

You know and um yeah, I'm just gonna start again. That's why I should take my time anyway, nothing to rush. Oh yes, it worked. It worked, oh my god that was oh. That was painful.

That was so painful today, oh my god. So, as you saw the first round when I was putting the screen protector, I broke it with my nail on the corner, so these are definitely extra thin. So I think I might have to buy the ESR one next time. If I do want to um change my screen protector, but yeah it looks beautiful, look at it. Wow, the phone looks beautiful.

What I've noticed as well. I've been seeing lots of reviews where, like I think, the US has like a band here, but we don't um but yeah. I'm just going to turn on my phone. Furthermore, I think, so now the screen protector is on. Furthermore, I'm just going to turn on the phone.

Now, oh, that's so exciting. Is it going to turn on a? There we go. This is what it looks like from the back and on the sides. It's definitely very fingerprints, but it's actually not that bad. Like I don't mind it um where's, that on silent, hmm, okay, swipe up I'm going to click on English, United Kingdom.

Oh, this is so Luke, oh, my god. I love it already. So this is my second attempt starting up the iPhone as the first one, just basically flopped um, but yeah look at the difference between in the sizes from the iPhone 4, iPhone, 7 plus and the iPhone 12 Pro max. Yeah, I'm just going to start it up again and see if it works, but the first round yeah it just wasn't working out, so I'm just going to swipe. Then English United Kingdom then scan the phone, and I'm going to have to put in my password now I'm going to do the face ID.

Did that ready continue there? We go keep this iPhone near your iPhone while so, whilst it's setting up I'm going to show you what's inside the box, which I nearly forgot to show you guys. So it's got the manual here which has the apple sticker and the sim card pointy needle thing I know my explanations are awful and then the USB to lightning cable, which um I don't actually have a plug other than my Mac um plug. So I think I'm just going to charge my phone through that, or I might just use my old charging um cable. However, that is looking a bit um broken, but yeah one thing that I noticed about the screen protectors. That is definitely a fingerprint magnet.

So I might look up some other like screen protectors that I might use in the future instead um- and this is what the phone looks like from the back it looks gorgeous. I definitely noticed that the lens on the camera is definitely a lot more raised compared to like the iPhone 7 plus, it's definitely flat, and this one is definitely like, there's some height to it. I don't know if you can see, but the camera is definitely a little lifted. This is definitely taking ages to set up. So I'm just going to try on the case um that I got from Amazon.

Try this case on. Okay, don't need all this! Oh, I like how the back is like furry. Oh, it feels great just going to put this on. Oh, it slips in quite nicely. So this is what the case looks like on.

The phone is like a turquoise color, the buttons work, perfect and yeah. It just feels great on the hand, and also what I love about this case- is that the camera part there's like a bumper since the camera lenses are quite raised like if I do put it down, it doesn't like wobble and also is. The surface is not touching the actual lens, so I guess it protects it and yeah. I really like about that. It's actually taking ages to load so now, locations and services have popped up, enable location services.

I'm just going to put my phone aside. Now Apple Pay continue. Yes, I would like to have Siri, hey Siri, hey Siri, send a message that sounded so weird. I apologize if this unboxing was not what you expected. Definitely I did not expect it would take this long.

I will be a lot easier today. I definitely learned I am crap with technology took me twice to set up this iPhone and also twice to put on the screen protector, but yeah right now. It's currently saying time remaining one hour so um. I guess it's going to take a while to transfer my data, so I'm just going to chill around and watch some anime, and I'll tune you guys in once it finished transferring, so it's been a little over an hour now and in total this took probably over two hours and a bit to start this phone. It's just me bad with technology.

I didn't think it's the phone. It's just me being bad at doing what I'm supposed to do, um, but anyway, um yeah. It looks like everything has transferred now, so I'm just gonna um open it. I guess it's so weird, because normally I just use touch ID but um yeah, I'm so excited with this face ID um. I'm also excited with this battery life.

Furthermore, I'm just going to see how much battery I have now, and I have 68. Actually let me just screen record this, so I can show you guys and put it here now so um. I look like a granny doing this with my phone, but um yeah. I definitely feel like this phone is very comfortable in my hands. Furthermore, I can definitely use one hand with it like can you see like? Oh, I can't wait to go on all the apps and everything, but I guess everything is still like kind of downloading my little apps and that stuff um, but yeah I'll definitely do a what's on my iPhone before I justify my phone but um yeah.

Oh, I'm so excited actually yeah. Let me show you what the camera looks like. I'm going to take a picture like oh wow, sorry about the background looks ugly but, oh, my god. The camera quality is so much better than the camera that I'm using to film right now like what I'm going to do a video right now and test record. It's so weird because you can see every pore on my face, how shiny it is, or the texture wow.

I just can't believe the quality compared to my iPhone 7 plus. I wonder what the audio sounds like. So I'm going to compare that footage with my iPhone 7 plus, and I'm just gonna- do a video now hiya! So right now, I'm forming with my iPhone 7 plus. You can probably hear the difference with the audio and the video quality. Definitely the iPhone 12 Pro max is so much better but yeah.

I wonder what the iPhone 7 plus sounds like, because I know my like speaker and everything sounds trash, so I'm just going to compare both videos from my iPhone 12 Pro max that I filmed just now on my iPhone 7 plus and the audio, and I'm just going to play it now. It's so weird because you can see everything sounds so good how shiny it is, or the texture, okay, okay, I'm going to play that iPhone, 7 plus now, and we'll see how it goes. Can you hear it guys that sounds like a 2008 webcam that sounded trash? I'm sorry, but wow iPhone 12 Pro max she's a winner wow. I can't believe I own this phone now, I'm just so excited with the long battery life. That's what I'm really excited for and also, basically ever since the iOS 14 came out and my phone updated it um my phone started to act up a lot of my apps freezes.

I can't use the music app when I leave my house for some reason. I don't know how it detects them outside my house, but it never lets me play music when I'm like outside my house, so it is um really, really weird, but yeah, I'm just so excited to use this phone like can we just appreciate how this case complements the phone color so well like it's just absolutely stunning, it's beautiful, and I'm happy that I picked up this case from Amazon, I'll link it down below um yeah. Furthermore, I'm happy that I got this instead of the apple cases, because boy, the apple cases are not going to lie. Furthermore, I feel like it's a ripoff, even though it's magazine friendly whatever. In my opinion, I didn't pick up the mag safe, as I find it one a bit too expensive and too very not practical impractical for my use, because I prefer lifting my phone and using it rather than sticking it onto my phone and I rather have a wire, that's quite long rather than short, so yeah.

That's why I didn't pick up the MagSafe but yeah, I'm just so happy. Overall, with this phone, it's absolutely beautiful. I love how big the screen is and all that and I don't mind the face ID no more. I actually don't mind not having a home button already. Furthermore, I think I've gotten used to it.

Furthermore, I love how big the screen is. This is perfect. I really don't get how people are saying it's too big like it is literally just perfect, and I love it but yeah.
