iPhone 12 Mini vs iPhone 12 Pro Max Speed Test - 12 Mini is a BEAST!!

So, what's going on guys, it's Adonis and today's iPhone day again, I have to be honest. Today is the day that I've been waiting for since the iPhone 12s were announced, and if you guys remember my recap, video on the event, I said that these two phones were the ones to buy. Now, if you guys haven't seen that video I'll do a quick little recap, I used to work at Apple retail for about seven years, and one thing that I did notice in the customer base in general was not. Everybody wanted a large phone and I have to be honest. Holding this thing in the hand, man, this is gonna, be a very hard decision for me because I really don't know which phone I'm going to keep, and I'm being completely honest with you right now. I really do not know keep in mind.

This is day one I literally unboxed these maybe an hour ago. This just feels much better. In my hand, I mean, if you guys, look at the size of my hands, though I don't really have large hands, so we're going to be doing a size comparison, video as well, so you guys want to miss that make sure you guys subscribe, and essentially I'll be going over one-headed use. You know for people that may not have the largest hands out there like myself, so I got you, but you guys are here for speed test. So let's get into that because there's some fascinating stuff going on right now, especially with this little guy.

Now I did do a speed test comparison between the 11 pro max and the iPhone 12 Pro, and if you guys want to check that out, I have a link-up here, so you guys can. However, what I did find out is that the 12 mini is outperforming the 12 pro I'm very, I'm very confused. Now, quick disclaimer, the iPhone 12 Pro was running iOS 14 and not 14.1. So if you guys have a 12 pro, and you're running 14.1, let me know in the comment section below what your geek bench scores are. Now this little guy is crazy and yes you're, seeing this correctly on the display, I'm just going to read it off for you guys, a 1582 single core and a 4127 multi-core score on an iPhone 12 mini.

This is craziness. Now the iPhone 12 Pro got a 1567 and a 3820 both of those scores are lower than the 12 mini, which is pretty crazy. It's pretty crazy, so numbers now, unsurprisingly, the 12 pro max comes out on top over all the iPhones, with a 1587 single core and a 4229 in the multicore. Now because the 12 mini beat the 12 pro I was like hold on this. Is this interesting? What is it going to look like in an tutu? I'm, I'm just Corfu, I'm confused right now, guys the 12 mini destroyed the 12 pro.

It was it's kind, it's weird, I'm confused it had a 612 000 score, 612 358, to be exact, that's wild! Now again, the iPhone 12 Pro that I was running iOS, 14 and not 14.1. So again, let me know what your scores are in the comments down below. If you are running iOS 14.1, however, when I did do the test and again link is in the description box and the card up there for the previous geek bench and an tutu test of the 12 pro the 12 pro got a 531 000 score guys. It's almost that's like 80 000 higher on the 12 mini it's kind of weird, and it's fascinating. The CPU score is higher the graphics.

The GPU score is also higher. The only thing that it doesn't beat the 12 pro out in is ram, which makes sense because it has less ram in the device and, unsurprisingly, 12 12pro max, comes in again and smacks the rest of the iPhone lineup with a score of 641 1168 and the CPU score of 183 000 GPU 262 000, it's kind of wild. Actually it's actually pretty impressive that this phone is doing what it's doing, um but again bigger phone. I would assume the graphics and stuff like that is a little tuned more for the larger display, so it is what it is, but again the 12 mini guys this little guy is. This is crazy.

I just want to let you guys know how wild that is now. While this is not a super scientific test, it's just basically number crunching. It is fascinating to see how powerful the 12 mini actually is again. I wasn't surprised about the 12 pro max just because I was assuming it was going to be the most powerful device out of the lineup, which is why this is making it such a difficult decision. For me as a consumer as a person, that's going to decide what phone I'm going to keep because I was already on board with the small form factor, because my hands are small.

However, because the performance is there now, I'm just like well, what is the battery going to be like on 5g and that's really kind of it like that's really, my only that's. My only concerns at this point is battery life. So I will let you guys know what I find out. As you know, time progresses with these two devices over the week. So if you guys don't want to miss my you know final thoughts and what phone I'm going to end up keeping between these two make sure you guys hit that subscribe button.

So you don't miss that video also, I will be doing a video filming on this device very similar to the 12 pro that I did before, because I really want to test the ibis inside this camera system. You guys are unaware that is the sensor shift or in body image stabilization that DSLR have um. So I want to test that out more so in a practical scenario, not just walking around, but actually shooting something that you guys can visually see how you can produce content with this. So if you guys don't want to miss that again, uh make sure you guys hit that subscribe button, but other than that guys. Thank you guys so much this channel is growing.

So quick, thank you guys again for the support make sure you guys. Let me know in the comment section below what content you want me to do on these two devices over the next week and yeah I'll catch. You guys in the next one till then stay geeked.
