Ipad Vs Ipad Air. Is it worth the switch in 2021?

Today, I'm going to unlock my new iPhone, so I was going between an iPad Air and an iPad Mini. So when I went into the Apple Store- and I talked to one of the guys- I work with Apple Store- he was great. He helped me kind of decide what was best for me. He didn't try to upsell me. Furthermore, he didn't tell me I needed this, or I needed that he answered the questions. I had okay, what is better for this? What is better for this? He asked me what am I going to use it for and when I started to answer all those questions, I realized that my the iPad Air was actually a better buy for me than the iPad Mini a few reasons it's better to like.

I said it's better to do my Instagram, my social media, my blog. It has a newer camera which I haven't tried yet, so I'm super excited to try the camera on this. It runs faster than the iPad Mini, also something that I learned that I haven't realized that the guide that the guy at the Apple Store told me as well as when I'm kind of asked some people online they're, I guess their opinion or what they thought about iPad Air versus iPad Mini, and they all told me that the iPad Mini has not been upgraded for a while, and I did not know that for some reason I don't know why I thought the iPad Mini was newer, but apparently the iPad Air, this iPad Air is actually newer than the mini. The iPad Mini also still has the button, so I'm like okay, iPad, mini or yeah iPad Mini is half the size of the iPad Air, but it's still pretty light. It would still go in my bag like I wanted to, and it's not like having my MacBook carrying my MacBook with me, because my MacBook is older.

It's an older version, it's not the thinner, mac books, it's like thicker, and it's still I find I love my MacBook, but I find it's still pretty heavy to carry around with me. For example, if um, I guess Starbucks ever decides to come back or if they ever have a coffee shop and chapters. Again it's been a few months now, and I have not seen the coffee shop or the um Starbucks come back to chapters and I usually like to go to chapters grab some coffee and just kind of work on that just work on some stuff. Just because it's quiet I like to listen to the music, but you know what it's probably a good thing for me, but we won't get into that anyways. So the iPad Air, I'm gonna, open this, the satisfying peel of the brand new.

So this is iPad Air fourth generation and I got the 64 gigabytes. This is like the exciting part. When I try to like open the box between like how old it is, so I just went with the black this time. So in terms of so without the case, this is what my old iPad looks like, and I'm just going to size it to huh. So my old iPad is actually a little smaller than the iPad Air, which are you're going to go they're either going to go bigger or smaller, and I find that in terms of weight, my old iPad has a pretty decent weight to.

It is a little lighter, but not by much. So with that said, I'm going to give the paper off the most satisfying part paper coming off the old um for your earphones, like you could get the earphones with your um with your iPad. You can play um earbuds with your iPhones. You can't connect them to the old iPad because they don't have the right connection. Now they actually have this connection.

So with your iPhone for the new iPad. Now I don't know I find that kind of interesting. So I'm going to go like this. It's probably going to want me to charge it. So, while the iPad has a 10.2 inch, retina display, the air has a 10.9 inch liquid retina display, so the processor and the iPad is a12 bionic and the air is a14, which means that the air performs 40 faster than the iPad. So the storage options for the iPad 2 is 32 gigabytes and 128 and storage options for the air is 64 gigabytes or 256.

The iPad Air has slimmer borders flat edges like the iPad Pro and the iPhone 12, but the air has, and the air has five color options where the iPad 2 only has three color options. The air is lighter than the iPad, so the true tone in the iPad will adjust and the iPad Air will adjust to the color intensity of your iPad to match the light lightning in your surroundings, so that the screen looks more natural, so the iPad Air screen looks richer with better contrast, while watching video games and playing video games. So when the iPad Air was tested with each bench's five compute tests, this evaluates how a GPU performs when executing tasks such as image processing the iPad Air had a higher score. The iPad Air works with the second generation Apple Pencil, smart keyboard, folio and the newer magic keyboard the Apple Pencil can attach to the iPad Air magnetically, while the older first generation must be plugged into the iPad's lightning port to charge and pair with the device, so accessories add up. First generation pencil is around 99, while the second generation pencil for the iPad Air is 169.

Battery life on both iPads are similar up to 10 hours and the iPad.2 is right for most people to check emails, read books, etc. While the iPad Air does everything the iPad, 2 does, but nearly twice the cost so pretty much. The iPad Air has lots of differences than the iPad. Mainly I found the color is really different. This is the size is different.

It's a lot lighter than the iPad as well as, if you wanted. The iPad Air is a better iPad to blog, to go on Instagram to edit videos to use iMovie, and you can use other apps as well. My iPad, my regular iPad, won't upgrade anymore. It's on iOS 8 right now. I believe, and I cannot download a lot of apps anymore on my older iPad, so that was kind of another reason.

For me, I wanted to upgrade to the iPad Air and again, why I didn't go with the iPad Mini is because it still hasn't been updated. Yet as of a few years, I believe- and the iPad Mini still has the button in the middle that the iPad does, so it's still kind of old school, iPhone old school iPads, when you charge the iPad and the iPad Air, the iPad Air charges a lot faster because of the want to say fast. The faster charging cables that they give with the with the iPads now as well as, I believe, was no tip, not the iPhone 11, but the iPad. The iPhone 11 Pro max has a faster charging cable than the iPhone 11, which they completely did away with the slower charging cables, and now they have the faster charging cables for the Apple devices. So really it comes down to.

If you want a basic iPad that you can read check your emails on even go on Microsoft, word or notes, take some notes on your iPad would be your would be your cheaper, better option. It still works. It still does a lot of the functions that the iPad Air does, but if you're like me- and you like to make videos edit videos- and you don't want to carry your laptop around- and you don't like to use your phone because I find my phone is so small to edit videos if I'm on the go, I can still edit my videos, but I don't have to carry my MacBook around. I can carry my iPad Air around, which is a lot of lighter and it I, and it will edit my videos a lot faster and download my videos a lot faster to my iMac than my iPad would with that said, my iPad is four or five, maybe longer six, six years, seven years old still works great, there's nothing wrong with my iPad. I didn't want to recycle it.

It still works awesome. I just needed the newer features and I needed to be able to upgrade my iPad, because once you can't upgrade an iPad or a computer anymore, what happens to the computer? But what happens to the computer? Well, it doesn't work anymore, and it starts to crash because you can't upgrade it anymore.
