Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T 5G CAMERA VLOG TEST!

We're taking the Xiaomi Redmi Note 90 out for spin. This is my camera vlog test good day. You beautiful people welcome to ISA. Does tech where we do tag in your life in style, like I said we're taking the cameras on this thing out for a spin, none other than the Redmi Note 95g, one very affordable, 5g device. It's just amazing how we're seeing 5g capabilities now on phones that aren't as expensive right. Like I said in this video, we will take this out for a spin, so you guys can see for yourself how the cameras perform on this phone in everyday scenarios or how normal users, like you and me, would be using it.

To recap, this phone has three cameras on the back: a 48, megapixel main shooter, a 2 megapixel depth camera and a 2 megapixel macro camera up front on that punch, hole that is a 13 megapixel selfie camera. What can this hardware do? Let's see for ourselves good day, you beautiful people are right, we're doing a vlog test with the Redmi Note, 90 amazing value for money on this. It's a 5g phone, so yeah we're also checking out what it can do in terms of cameras. This is the front-facing camera, and it can shoot in 1080p. That's what we're doing right now and really nice dramatic movie-free mode is available on video on the front-facing camera as well cinematic.

There is also a beautify mode and, as you can see, my face is looking fresher. You can still see my pimple over there wait yeah. Let me show you how I really look like yup. That's my real skin um. That was like beauty mode 100.

I don't usually use it like crank up to that level, but I wanted to show you what it could do. Also. Another thing is that when you shoot with a front-facing video of this phone, it downgrades to 720p, it happens to a lot of phones, so that movie frame mode is also available on the rear video of this phone um. Although it does downgrade the video to 1080p 30 yeah, you might be thinking ISA. That is the highest resolution for routine selfie.

Yes, but not in the year. Under your cameras, under your cameras, you can shoot up until 4k, and you can even do 1080 60. I'll show you guys that later right, what we're going to do now is take some sample selfies, as you can see here, I'm going to turn on the HDR mode, that's on auto, and then we have the palm shutter mode. That's always a favorite. For me.

We're going to do that right. So this is what right. Let's look at that photo wait a is on, and so is the beauty filter on there. I didn't even realize I think I've set this to like my minimum. This is how I use a filter again guys.

Beauty filter is always fun to enhance the real you just like makeup, but never be ashamed of your actual real skin. Let's see how that looks. Nice, I like that um. What edit stuff can we do from the back end, so you can still beautify it after that's on auto. What's this portrait mode and a lot of other settings, and then we have crop, we have different filters.

We have sky mode. Oh, I'm going to show you this later: it's its a pretty cool option. Um we have sticker okay. No, I don't need saving you guys, but yeah. Those are cool.

All these different cute things already preset. You can doodle, you can add watermarks, always nice intellectual properties, important guys, make sure to credit, actual owners of stuff. You find you know what I mean, and then you have adjustments. Furthermore, you have mosaic and this basically blurs out um what else you have eraser. What does this erase? Oh, wait.

It erased my shoulder. No, but you get the idea right, so many tools in the edit mode and then under filters. You can do all these different things as well. Um. I think I'm going to go and take more selfies.

So now we have more samples on the right side. Here we have the portrait mode and, as you can see, you can change the different aperture settings. So I want more both. Let's do this and then, let's see beauty mode, filters are also available, um a little less of the beauty mode, and then can we do port palm shutter, yes and then well. I think that photo turned out well and the cutouts aren't bad like we see the leaf peeping over here, but it is at the area where my shoulder is over.

So I don't think it could really do anything about it, because it's a cutout, but all in all, that's a good-looking portrait can we adjust the blur after the fact? Oh, this is so cool, so you can adjust the blur see aperture of 16, not everything is blurred and then aperture one which we shot in everything is blurred. You also have studio lighting options. What does this do dramatic? I like this. A lot of rainbows, nice, okay, well also on the selfie mode, is the movie frame mode again. This is something I like from Xiaomi phones.

It looks pretty dramatic, so let me show you a sample. For example, I want to do this right. It gives you that pretty um dramatic effect, although I'm, I'm a little sweaty. So it's not the best looking photo. I have, but you get the idea.

Meantime we're doing mirror selfies, and this is one x, and you can do up until. Oh then, next, let's try and like focus. Okay, you need a steady hand. I am missing that, like tiny um counter or like thing at the bottom here, the one that allows you to switch from like zoom to like 1x but yeah you get the idea. Oh, let's turn on HDR before we check out the dogs, hey, I also oh, let me show you the difference with a.

I real quick, but my new pretty plant. So, as you can see it automatically figured out, it was a flower saying it's a flower. So let's take a photo of that and let's take a photo without a. I to see how that looks. Basically, AI recognizes what you're taking a photo of, and it enhances it to take the best photo of that thing.

Um yeah, nice. You see the difference right now that the selfies are over. Let's see what other fun camera features, this phone has right, it's time to go downstairs, so I can show you some other cute stuff by the way stabilization is built into this video front-facing video 1080p. I've turned off stabilization this time, um yeah, that's what that looks like. Let's go hi chew me, hi chum, all right! So if you watch my vlog, this you've seen wait.

Let me focus there. You've seen this aquarium, but I have a new one out there under the knife. Let's check it out, so this is the aquarium um. Let me show you better with some photos. I turned on the light because it's easier to take photos of it with the light on um.

This looks really well when it's dark, so maybe this is where we'll try the night mode on this phone. That's for later, but yeah. This is my 1x on video and this is 6x. This is as far as video will go. This is 1080p 30.

There you go details of the aquarium and then back to 1x. I'm so proud of this aquarium really like this is not just look nice, okay. So what I'm going to show you guys is well the vlog mode. So basically, what log mode is a cool way of shooting wait. Okay, this is the right orientation for first, it's a cool way of shooting this different vlog type videos without having to edit so much, so I think I will pick travel, so this is what so.

That is what the template looks like and what I'm going to do is I'm just going to hold up the phone to shoot that and let's go so that was the first shot. I did nothing. I held up the phone as you can see. It also adds like a certain filter to the shots, and that is why I love the vlog mode. Literally.

Didn't spend five minutes on that video, and it looks good it's actually a mode. I've been loving on Xiaomi phones, another mode that I love on. These phones would be the short video mode. Let me explain why that's a thing in these phones. Basically, you know how people always say that stories look better on iPhones, that's because it's optimized to shoot stuff on social media like Instagram stories.

It uses the actual cameras, but for android phones, because there are so many android phones. They can't really optimize the app for each and every specific phone. So what android phone makers did? There are a couple of brands who do this? Xiaomi specifically, has always had this in a lot of their phones. They put in um the short video mode, which means you can shoot using the original cameras of your android phone, meaning you get all that good quality and then from there you can post it straight. So this is found in the camera menu.

Let's try it so from here. You tap this button, real quick, and then you can find feed or stories and all other social media should show up here. I wanted to post this as my story stories, and here we go, and this is how that story looks on my Instagram. This is the iPhone right now, because a lot of you guys always ask me how the videos look on Instagram stories, and this is what that looks like. Let's show you that again.

Yes, I have a hands-on of this phone check. It out. I also have written hands-on, and we have an article on all that Xiaomi launch at that event, yeah quick blog there you go and finally the moment you guys have all been waiting for. I know because I see the comments talking about wanting to see my dogs, it's up to the dogs, to test out these cameras and take some very cute pics. Oh, so hello! This is true.6X 1x, oh my god, you guys, so I took a photo of Chu. This is a normal one and this is a portrait shot, and I was trying to see if portrait mode works on dogs but see if you edit it.

The blur level is one here and if you change to 16, you see the difference. The background isn't as blurred. So it does work. It does work on dogs, yay, yay, okay, I'm holding shoe right now. You can see, but that's why I'm speaking this way, yay the portrait mode works on, show me: okay, okay, Tommy, yes, you're, shooting outside with the dogs right now, and this is Colette and, as you saw earlier, this thing can shoot up until 6x, that's 6x, and this you guys is 10 80p 30.

This is 1080p60 hello. It can zoom up until 6x as well right. That is how it looks. Now again you guys some people might say ISA. You're, not going to export it on that resolution.

So why are you showing us anyway? Well guys, sometimes like phone cameras differ with how they process, depending on how on what resolution you use. So that's, basically, what I'm showing you! This is a vlog test. After all, and finally, you guys this is 4k, and you can zoom up until oh 6x as well wow and that's all the noise, where it's coming from what okay many the calm ROG stays there 66 another thing that this thing has is 48 megapixel mode now, basically, how it works is that the main camera? Oh, my god, stop I'm trying to explain something. The main camera on the back of this phone is 48 megapixels, but it doesn't shoot 48 megapixels come on. Stop I'm trying to explain something but yeah main camera.48 megapixels doesn't shoot 48 megapixel photos because it uses pixel binning to come up with better photos. But if you wanted to shoot 48 megapixel photos you can, and that means, like you, shoot bigger photos.

So, for example, we heat okay. This is how even are we going to do this? This is a 48 megapixel photo, and then we're going to do a normal one. So what happens? Is that on this normal one you can only zoom up until here and because, if I wanted to crop misty like you'd lose detail, but on the 48 megapixel photo, you have more detail when you do zoom in because it is technically a bigger photo, get it okay. So one thing that people usually ask me about when I do this vlog: this is if this phone has um, what do you call it stabilization, I'm getting distracted, I'm sorry, guys um. They asked if the phone has stabilization, particularly for the Redmi Note.90 people have asked me that so basically, my answer is that, and you saw this with a front-facing video, there is stabilization, but it's not a separate mode. It's something you turn on or off in the settings, and I've noticed that for the rear, camera stabilization only works for 1080p 30fps.

So I'm going to show you the difference. Hello. This video on the left is with stabilization turned on in the settings. The video on the right is without stabilization. It's turned off in the settings.

There is also macro mode on wait. Where is it macro modes on Xiaomi phones are always a little hidden, so macro mode on photo we're gonna, try taking photos of the pond, because it's the one thing I can shoot with tiny subjects. Oh, wait that flower is also macro mode on video, and that is what you're seeing right now for context. That's how tiny that is so another thing I wanted to try. So, let's take a photo of NASA with the sky.

Silhouette, wait! NASA! I don't know why she's looking that? Okay- let's just do this, then wait, let's use this okay, so that is what it looks like if I edit it- and I edit Skye, do you see what that does? What oh, my gosh, these dogs won't stop barking, but what the camera deems a sky it will edit so that you have the perfect sunny day. You see the difference and if you decide that you want to make it evening, you can, how cool is that see, or you can even do starry night thingies like this wow, wow? That actually looks perfect. I should save this now. As you can see, it's not perfect. You know like if you look at the roof, it sort of recognized the roof as part of the sky, but I mean still.

This is a very tricky shot and I think it did pretty well okay. This is weird now it looks like die's here, but you get the idea. This is pretty cool. Did you see that I not only was able to edit the sky? I was able to create fireworks in the background. It's amazing and all this time.

This is what that scene looks like right: NASA, she doesn't care, but yeah. This is what that sky looks like so cool. Also, look at all these dogs and last, but not the least, we're testing these cameras out in not so ideal lighting situations aka night mode. Now, because I've said that I'm not going out just to shoot photos. I usually take these photos in this room with a low light situation going on, but I have one better this time right night, moon shots.

Let's go! Oh, it's dark, I'm max. So this is the rear cameras. Now we are back outside and this is a tank. Let's fix this, you guys there we go, so we're gonna. Take sample photos of this.

I told you guys this look way better with the lights on in the dark. We can actually zoom. So you can see the quality of the camera. When light looks like this, so there we go time for some sample shots. That was it.

There is a slight difference with the night mode, though I want to take a step further and take sample photos of things that have less light. There is a team difference now I want to check out the night mode on the front facing camera. Yes, I am in front of um the aquarium again so that I have a little light on my face. That's what it looks like in the dark, and that is how I learned that there is no um like dedicated night mode for the front facing camera. Although the AI, when you take selfies in dark lightning situations, gives you a moon, so I'm assuming that it optimizes a selfie for low light as well, and you can turn on the flash which lights up the screen and gives you better lit selfie, and that was it for our Xiaomi Redmi Note 95g again the biggest selling point for this thing is its a very affordable 5g device, but can you take great photos or videos, you'll be the judge, because well that's what you just saw.

Let me know what you think in the comment section down below. If you want more details on the phone and its specs, I do have an unboxing video, so I'll link it up here and down below.
