If you'd like to see more videos like this feel free to subscribe and hit the notification bell, it starts away with our review. Let the facts: peak performance, the Huawei, mate 40 pro has 256 gigabyte internal storage capacity.

It is equipped with its in-house produced high silicon, pure 9000 chips and has 8 gigabyte ram. The storage capacity can be expanded with another 256 gigabyte, there's also a 128 gigabyte and a 512 gigabyte version available. But that depends on the country. You are in expandable storage capacity. It seems like every new smartphone gets rid of this feature.

Next up the me11, the me11 uses the Qualcomm snapdragon 888 chips with the power efficient, 5 nanometer process technology. It offers 8 gigabyte ram and there are two storage capacities available: a 128 gigabyte and a 256 gigabyte. The storage capacity can unfortunately not be expanded. Huawei's in-house ship, the Karin 9000 versus snapdragon's 888 who's going to come out on top, let's take them into the n22 benchmark and the geek bench 5 test and find out. The tests are divided into three phrases: a performance test of the ram, a test of how the device is handling, two-dimensional, graphics and an endurance test of how the device is handling 3d, graphics.

The second test is from geek bench. This app will measure the performance of our smartphones in terms of CPU and GPU, since the me11 came in with one of the best results in both benchmark tests so far, it was no surprise that it defeated its competitor. Once again, the point in this category clearly went to the Xiaomi v11 display the Xiaomi mi 11 features a 6.81 inch, two color display with a 1440p resolution. It uses an AMOLED screen which creates very natural colors. The mi 11, therefore measures 17.29 centimeter diagonally with a pixel density of 515 PPI. The display also has the adaptable, 120hz refresh rate with a quad HD resolution and a peak brightness of 1500 nits.

That looks really impressive. Let's see if the mate 40 pro is able to compete. The mate 40 pro has a 6.76 inch display with a 1 344 p resolution. It also uses an old screen which creates very accurate colors. The 6.76 inch display, therefore, measures 17.17 centimeter diagonally, with a pixel density of 456 PPI. The Huawei has a 90 hertz refresh rate.

Well, this was a one-man show the mate 40 pro just can't compete with a me11. Its Amazon screen has advantages in every single category and takes home the point camera the Xiaomi mi 11 is encrypted with a treble rear camera setup featuring a 108 megapixel wide angle, a 13, megapixel ultrawide angle and a 5 megapixel tailor micro camera its front. Camera has a resolution of 20 megapixels, the mi 11 records, 8k videos at a maximum of 30 frames and, of course it features. An optical image. Stabilization sounds like a great camera system.

Before we can start testing, though, let's first have a look at the setup of the mate 40 pro the mate 40 pro uses a 3 rear camera system, an ultra-right with 20 megapixels, a wide with 50 megapixels and a telephoto camera with 12 megapixels. You can find the ultra-right, 30, megapixel front camera in the upper left corner of the screen and a pillbox cutout right next to the 3d depth version camera. It records 4k videos at a maximum of 60 frames. It also has image stabilization for video. Both phones have good camera systems but which one is actually the better system.

Let's take it to our camera test and, let's find out which one does a better job. Let's start by comparing the pictures taken in daylight conditions both seem to take perfect pictures and at first sight the only noticeable difference is that the mate is a bit brighter than the, but when cropping in you'll notice that the Xiaomi has a lot of advantages over its competitor, as its pictures are extremely sharp and detailed, it is also very good in terms of saturation and contrast, whereas the mate falls a little behind in all of these points, and it is also way too over saturated. The same can be seen in the last picture. Although the closest part of the plant seems a bit blurred on the might be a focus problem, though. Switching to nighttime conditions, you'll see that the warrior is a little brighter again after cropping in.

We noticed that the low light isn't a strength of the mi 11, which creates a lot of grain, and although it still shows a lot of details, it also loses a lot of details. The mate 40 pro does a better job in terms of contrast and lighting, but it's not able to convince either both have perfect front cameras that do an excellent job. The main difference are in terms of details and color rendering the shows a lot of details which can be at times a little too much, but the color rendering is on point, whereas the mate is a little softer which creates a more pleasing look, but the white balance is slightly too warm. The Huawei Mate 40 pro has a 5 volt optical and a 50-fold. Digital zoom feature the Xiaomi mi 11, on the other end, has a 30 volt, digital zoom and instead of a Taylor photo, it has a macro lens, camera.

Okay, so thoughts are good. Now, let's switch from photo feature to the video feature to find out which of these two phones takes better videos. What you see- and here is the quality of Xiaomi's me 11 video recording. We set it to the highest possible quality. Let's see what the competitor sounds.

It looks like what you can see and here are the quality of the Huawei Mate 40 pro video recording. We set it to the highest possible quality. Let's see what the competitor sounds and looks like in terms of the sound quality. The mate definitely does a better job. The catches a lot of background noise, which is really disruptive regarding video quality.

The mate is sharper, better saturated and has more contrast, creating a clean appearance. The, on the other hand, seems to be having problems with white balance, which creates an unnatural flat. Look now, let's crop in a bit in post, to see how that looks like, as you can see, both start to look pixelated, whereas the remains a little more sharpness when cropping in even more the mid is still doing better in terms of sharpness and details. The reason for this is, of course, that the is able to record videos on 8k, whereas the mate requisite and 4k. When it comes to slow motion, video, the mi 11 is capable of shooting 480 frames per second in full HD, whereas the mate 40 pro is capable of 480 frames per second in full HD and up to 3800 frames per second and 720p.

Okay to say, politely. This one is a back and forth category both have strengths and, at the same time flaws while the mile killed it with its detailed daylight pictures. The time conditions were both similarly bad in terms of the media quality, though straight out of the box. The mate definitely has better results, but in my opinion, if you fix the white balance and saturation on the mi 11, I assume it will look similar good if not better anyways. Overall, we have to call it a draw.

Both phones get a point design the Huawei Mate 40 pro has a clean design with a matte finish. The three camera system is well positioned in a ring on the upper center on the back of the phone like most phones, the camera bump is pretty big, but since it is more centered, it tends to wobble less when it lies on a flat surface, the smartphone weighs 212 gram. It is roughly 16.29 centimeter long 7.55, centimeter wide and 0.91 centimeter deep. It has an USB connector and thanks to an ip68 rating, it is water and dust resistant. The mate 40 pro uses a fingerprint scanner which is built into the screen and face recognition technology to unlock the phone.

Both technologies were great. Well, there's a clear resemblance to him, I'm not going to say it next up the Xiaomi mi 11, the Xiaomi mi 11 comes over as really coherent and clean. Besides an aluminum frame, it is completely covered in corning, gorilla, glass victims with a matte finish on the back. Vitus is a brand's newest version and is said to be an even more robust, upgrade to gorilla glass, 6. , increasing drop performance and scratch resistance.

The camera bump that beats a design we haven't seen before it is stabbed with each lens sticking out by a different amount, but not too far. The smartphone weighs 196 gram. It has an USB-C connector at the bottom, but it's missing a headphone jack. If you are an acoustic junkie, Xiaomi has you covered on another end, though its dual speakers are produced by the expert of Harman Kardon, producing crisp high-end, sound quality, the phone uses an in-screen fingerprint sensor and AI Facebook ignition technology to unlock the phone. It is missing the ip68 rating, though well, okay, so while Xiaomi tried a triple step lens design, Huawei created something that they call the space ring camera, which seems to be inspired by apple's iPod.

At least we can't unsee it anymore, which one is a better idea. Well, in the end, it is on you to the side, but we definitely like Huawei's approach more in terms of material, both use a matte glass finish that has a very premium look and feel to it. But again we prefer the rainbow shine. Look of the mate 40 pro overall. We think that the mate 40 pro is the better looking phone, which is why it gets a point in this category battery the Xiaomi mi 11 when fully charged has 4 600 William hours, the mate 40 pro has 4 400 million powers, both phones, support, fast and reverse wireless charging.

The m11 has a slightly bigger battery and should therefore last longer, let's see who is able to last longer, remember the first two categories where the mate 40 pro had no chance. Well, not this time. Here's where it gets its revenge. The mate 40 pro was able to last more than two and a half hours longer than the me11. That is a huge difference and the reason why it clearly takes home this point kudos to the mate 40 pro.

If you want to see the full endurance test click here conclusion, so let's do a quick recap of all the categories and find out which phone did better in this comparison. In the first category, we compared the disk space of both phones and found out that the new AMOLED screen of the me11 was able to beat the mate 40 pro moving on to the performance tests. It was again the mi 11 who scored the win, letting Huawei fall behind two points in the camera setup category both scored a point, so the first one for the mate in terms of design. The mate was able to convince us again with the oval better design approach. So another point for Huawei.

In our final category, the mate 40 was able to show its full potential with a perfect endurance performance. This means that we have an n score of three points on each side, which leads to a draw in this comparison, video. Naturally, we review more than these five categories covered here.
