Google Pixel 5:Google Pixel 4a 5G Unboxing By Alex Kidman

Hey there Alex Kidman with a quick fire unboxing for the pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5g. That's quite a mouthful uh, Google's flagship phones. This year is a little different. The pixel used to be hey. Here's the best processor available this year, plus Google's take on ale photography and a clean google UI. You still get those latter two parts, but these are phones built on the snapdragon 765g platform, which means really they're more mid-range devices, they're competing with things like the lg velvet or the Motorola edge, or any number of Oppo phones.

Actually, so let's have a look. These have just arrived. I haven't unpacked them as yet. Let's have a look at the pixel 5 first usual stories of peeling stuff off the back and yeah wow. Now that really really really looks like a pixel phone and as it happens, I've got the for a.

This is the non 5g version of the 4a. All this stuff gets terribly confusing uh to hand just to give that a bit of a size comparison I'll just get that a little better into frame there. We go they're very, very, very similar. Aren't they, so we flip this open and yeah? Look, that's got a nice build to it. It's very much pixel kind of house style as it were.

Otherwise, in the box, I'm not expecting too much of a welcome to google thing. Of course, we get charger, we get headphones, we get cable. I do like the fact that Google puts an USB a2c type adapter in the box, because of course you don't just have to use it with the phone. You can use it with all sorts of other things if you've got an USB capable device. Now, if we flick over I'll just push that to the side, if we click over to the Pixel 4a same story of peeling off our little back tabs here, the pixel 485 g is a weird beast in its own right, because it's a 4a, so it's cheaper, but it's bigger than the 5, but it's the same processor.

It's also still 5g. In some ways. This might be the real value pick of the lot, so there it is, and I'll just put the plastic out of the way, let's put the 5 next to it. So you can get that kind of rear facing size comparison going, yeah, there's, definitely a style to these things. Isn't there dual cameras on the back? I don't know that I love the idea before testing it of the widescreen camera, but we'll have to see how that goes in actual testing, but there's the phone itself.

Presumably it's got a little of charge. I think waiting there we go. Google, this, it is live it lives. I should stop being similar dramatic, and would imagine that'll have yeah it's pretty much. It's pretty much exactly the same set of features in the box.

Now I guess I've got yet more phones to get reviewing. So I better get to getting these things set up thanks for watching um.
