Xiaomi Redmi 9C - Unboxing And Review

Hello guys what is going on this is the Redmi 9c very similar to the Redmi 9a. Only difference I could find so far is we have a different camera layout, and we have the hello g35 instead of the g25. So I remember, I complained that the Redmi 9a was a bit sluggish. Well, hopefully, this fixes the problem. Also, the Redmi 9a. We didn't have a fingerprint sensor.

This one has one but other than that we still have the same design, the same 2 gigs of ram and 32 gigs of storage. So we're going to see we're gonna, see if it's that much worth it and uh um 9a. So the cameras do look impressive. So far, plastic I mean pretty obvious. It was going to be plastic, but it does feel nice.

I do like the texture, so yeah um phone feels premium feels heavy thanks to that 5000 million power battery just have manuals in here charging brick charging cable. This is um micro, USB, which is um pretty disappointing. I don't I don't care. If this is a budget phone, we I mean it's still good to have USB-C if you're buying a phone that was made this year. Aha, all right, mini, 12.

, uh, I've seen better displays, maybe just because the brightness isn't all the way up, but first impressions meh also that bottom chin. But you know, the budget phone looks promising, not gonna all over it just yet, so we're going to set this up and get back to you all right. This is how our fingerprint is. Let's hope that it's as quick as other phones were in the past. I have a feeling they slowed down a bit, but we're going to find out.

Okay, that is um yeah pretty. That was quick. All right done here, we go. The phone is all set up: let's try and bump up the brightness all the way. Okay, this is not a bright phone, so it's gonna.

Do it like that there we go uh display, isn't too bad for an LCD. I can't say I've seen better, but yeah. First thing: let's test that fingerprint sensor free two one, three, two one, three, two one, three, two one three, two one nope which one okay, it's fast reliable, can't say it's as fast as the Redmi Note 5 that I used to have, but this is also a really fast fingerprint sensor. No one's really going to complain about it. Okay, master just crashed for some reason.

Let's try that again, it always happens when you just set up the phone without in terms of speed. First impressions, really it's not torture to use, but also not the fastest, and I'll go into comments. Oh, what do you expect for this kind of price range? I have tested phones that are even cheaper than this that are faster, so don't go in the comments seeing some sort of um for the most part, the phone. You know it's not that slow, pretty usable, oh, no, okay, all right! It's like it's lagging, but at the same time it's not waited. Let's start turning off ads, huh! Okay! I don't know if you can see that, but there is a stutter, but the stutter it doesn't make me lose like it does on most other phones.

So you see I'm I'm still winning the game despite the stutter see that was. That was my fault. This time. Let's do one more Ramsey yeah. You see that I mean it's very hard to see it's very subtle, but it's not making me lose the game like.

I can still play this oops I'd say for knife. Fit it's great. It's not the smoothest I've seen, but I mean it's perfectly fine. I give consent for my personal data to be collected yeah. I agree to that.

Definitely not scary at all. All right, so the game is playable, some just a tiny bit of stutter, which is interesting, actually so yeah, but there's no, like actual lag. What I can tell is that the game's not running at 60 fps, it's like around 30, 35. Um. I mean this game is definitely playable, but this is definitely not the game's full potential.

Like I mean yeah you can. You can play light games, but okay yeah. It was six see now it's pretty smooth, but when you get faster, the frame rate drops don't get me wrong, it's not stuttering or lagging or anything I mean yeah. The frame rate is really not consistent at all. It's not lagging it just not playing at its highest potential.

I don't know if it's, because the chip is too weak or what, but I'd say overall, it can handle light games. It's not it's just not going to run those games at like the max graphics, but you're not going to be disappointed, especially if you're used to budgeting phones already, and you're like yeah, no problem, I'm used to it. So all right this is PUBG. The frame rate of course looks pretty good. Actually, it's all right.

Graphics are the lowest we're just walking around um no stutter. No, nothing phone is surprisingly cool. It took forever to load, probably because the first time it when it loses the first time I was takes in August, so um, okay, um all right. This is not a long term gaming review, okay, that was pretty slow. So, okay, so the speaker, it's not too loud.

It's just slightly tiny, like the speaker is a bit tinny uh, not a big deal for the price, but yeah, not the best speaker. The speakers are average, maybe slightly below average. It's not a bad speaker, not a good speaker. Just you know it's the speaker. Now, I'm not going to be blown away at all um, but you do have a headphone jack, which is good and uh.

The speaker is good, for you know basic video watching at least nothing crazy um. I doubt you're going to be able to use it in a loud environment but uh yeah. That's speaker! I guess all right. Let's try! The camera! Okay, we're gonna, do HDR. I HDR automatic yeah huh.

We have a flash, we're going to see what the flash does all right. Three, two one not effective at all, but yeah all right! Let's go outside and take some pictures we're facing video on the Redmi 9c, full HD 30 frames per second, that's the max. We can go and all right. Oh, we have a zoom option. Okay, let's try zooming on the waist uh, not bad, okay, zoom back out all right.

So I saw that this phone has free cameras, but I see no wide angle options so or had no macro options. So I don't know what the third camera is for um, but on the topic of video, it does look pretty good, not bad at all, at least on my end, there's no stutter, no nothing looks like a solid 40 frames per second front facing video on the Redmi nine c, also full HD at 30 frames per second. It looks pretty nice on my end, of course, and um yeah. The aperture is nice. Everything is nice.

I don't know how you can hear me right now, because there's wind and background noise but yeah, I would say, video on this phone is pretty decent overall, all right guys. That is pretty much it. So should you get this phone, then yeah I mean for 110 dollars, there's not much better options out there. If you just want a reliable phone, that's going to work, you know light tasks and a few games here and there it's going to work perfectly fine, but it's definitely better than the Redmi 9a, because we have a slightly better chip, better cameras. I mean better specs, at least and a fingerprint sensor, which is absolutely a crucial thing to have in 2020, even like in the cheapest of the cheap phones.

You need a fingerprint sensor, especially with corona, and all that, if you're used to budgeting phones like if you used to like uh, not the fastest phones and this, this is going to feel right at home. Nothing really special about this phone, but if you want a better phone, and you're willing to spend a bit more now look at the Paco x3. That phone has monster specs for around only a hundred dollars. More so I'd say I mean I would, I'll just spend a bit more and get that instead. But if you don't care about phones- and you don't just want a phone that works like this- is going to serve you pretty good, it all depends on what kind of person you are and what kind of phone you need.

So thank you so much for watching. If you have any questions, leave in the comments, and I'll try to answer them. I'll see you in the next video peace.
