Google Pixel 5 Vs iPhone X! (Comparison) (Review)

Welcome back everyone time to do another comparison between the Google Pixel 5 and the older iPhone the iPhone 10. Now you might be wondering why I'm even talking about both these phones and even trying to compare one another, but I can honestly tell you a lot of people love the iPhone 10, and I just love comparing it to every other phone that I ever see, and the Google Pixel 5 is one of those other phones and price tag wise the iPhone 10. You can pick up on Amazon for less than 400 dollars. The Google Pixel 5 is retailing for 6.99 right now, so pretty expensive, but it's probably going to go down in price at some point. So right now, that's kind of how the pricing structure is now starting off with the front panels of both the iPhone 10 has oh, first, if you want to pick either of these, up links will be down in the description below you can get them from. There help support the channel at the same time.

You guys already know now, with the iPhone 10, we have a 5.8 inch. Super retina OLED display and it's a perfect panel. You know you have force touch on it. You have true tone on it and I never really had a bad experience with this phone. Furthermore, you know it has a perfect panel.

Even if you look at the iPhone 12s that are coming out pretty much the same exact design, nothing really has changed there, whether that's a pro or a con, but you can't knock the fact that the iPhone 10 has had a pretty good display and I use the iPhone x for about a year and a good experience with it, and I still think it's a perfect phone for the most part in terms of the panel itself. Now the Google Pixel 5, on the other hand, has a 6-inch OLED display, and this one is 1080p, and I think at first it didn't really look better than the Google Pixel 5. I think they looked somewhat the same, but the biggest advantage. The pixel 5 has on the front panel is that 90hz refresh rate. That is a really cool feature.

That is something that not a lot of other phones have, but more phones are getting, and I feel like next year. Basically all phones will have that capability, but that 90hz refresh rate is perfect, and you have that hole. Punch display too, which looks really awesome and for sure, between the both, I feel like the pixel 5 has the better panel, but it's really only because of the 90 hertz refresh rate. I don't think that the iPhone 10 you know is that bad off, but I still think the pixel 5 is probably a little better so in terms of the front panel that pretty much covers it up: USB type-c port on the bottom, the pixel 5 lighting port on the iPhone 10 and on the back of both phones like the last back on the iPhone 10 with a dual camera setup and a know, aluminum back on the pixel 5 that feels kind of like cardboard, fingerprint sensor here and a dual camera setup on the pixel 5. And between both.

Quite possibly I would say, the iPhone 10 is probably the better built phone for sure. It feels way more premium, and I don't think the pixel 5 is super far off, but I think in terms of the outside, the iPhone 10 is the better feeling device. The pixel 5 has the advantage when it comes down to you know the 90 horse refresh rate. We also have IP certification on both ip67. Does water resistance on the iPhone 10 ip68? Does some water resistance on the pixel 5, so in terms of the outside? That really pretty much covers it up now, in terms of the software obviously iPhone 10 on iOS android on the pixel 5, so determine which one you want you like from there and kind of go from.

There pick a phone which one you want, but I think the iPhone 10 will probably be. You know the. I think these iPhones will. I think these phones will probably be ending around the same time. In terms of software.

The iPhone 10 is probably going to get like another three versions of software. Maybe the pixel 5. It may be an extra 3 or whatever. So I don't think one is going to outlast the other one by crazy amount and whether you pick up the iPhone 10 now or the pixel 5 you're still going to be pretty much supported with soft for a couple more years. So I don't really think one necessarily wins in that capacity.

So in terms of software that pretty much covers it up now, let's go ahead and do a little of a speed comparison between both these phones. The pixel 5 has that Qualcomm snapdragon 765 g chipset, an optical CPU and arena 620 GPU and eight gigs of ram on the only model that it has with the iPhone 10. On the other hand, has the apple, a11 bionic chip inside it a hex core, CPU and three gigabytes of ram. In this only model, I guess there are two models, but they have three gigs of ram on each one. So let's go and see which one is the faster phone between these two okay: let's go and clear out all these apps in the background- and it's probably going to take a minute now, the iPhone 10s already all cleared out.

Now. It's going to take 30 minutes to wipe out the pixel 5. , okay, so we're good on both. So let's go and start loading them up. Let's do the phone calls three two one and probably the iPhone tunnels a little faster, they're hopping out.

I don't know if one looks way faster, but I think the iPhone 10 may be a little smoother, which is pretty surprising. Let's do their app stores. Three two one and the pixel 5 definitely was faster. The iPhone 10 was a little slower scrolling speed, though- and this is a huge thing for iOS- I mean look- how much smoother of an experience you have on the iPhone 10, and I don't know if you can actually see it through the camera. The only thing that the pixel 5 is going for in terms of smoothness would probably be the 90hz refresh rate.

I hate to say it, but that's kind of one thing right there we can do camera three, two one. It's really not going to show too much. Okay. That pretty much covers that one. Now, as usual, I have a bunch of these third-party apps that we can go ahead and open.

So let's start loading them up. Let's do twitter three two one and the pixel five is the faster one there. Let's do stack three two one, and I think again the pixel 5 is the faster well. Actually they both kind of open it up around the same time. I don't know what that pop-up was there.

Okay, that's weird snake vs blocks three two one and again, I think the pixel 5 is the faster one, followed by the iPhone 10 getting into some gameplay. It's probably going to be around the same, not a ginormous difference so far, but they're both pretty close when it comes down to it. We do paper Io two three, two one. Now it looks like they're, both maybe on different versions. I don't know if this is even the same game.

Okay, so this one was a 3d version, so I knew there was going to be an issue. Oh, and there we have paper Io 2. So let me go and redo that one paper out two again, three, two one and, as you can see, actually the pixel file was faster, followed by the paper Io 2 on the iPhone 10 getting to some gameplay. I think they're going to be around the same, and it's very actually the pixel 5 is so much slower. I think, and more way glitchier than the iPhone 10, which is surprising.

Furthermore, I wasn't expecting that big of a difference I think in terms of the gameplay of this device, though the iPhone 10 may have been a little smoother there, which is astounding to me. We can do temple run 2 whenever I scroll down to it.3 2 1. And it looks like the pixel 5 may be a little faster than the iPhone 10, and it may be another surprising little thing that we're seeing and yeah the pixel 5 was faster. The iPhone 10 a little behind, not a ginormous difference but for sure I'll give the edge to the pixel 5. I think it was the faster phone there gameplay wise.

They look about the same again, not a giant enormous difference between them. Two and I'll go ahead and end it off with the real racing three, because that's a perfect game to end off with. Let's try it again, three two one, and I think again the animations are still faster on the iPhone side of things. But again maybe some point android will be better and, as you can see, the pixel 5 was the faster one and the iPhone 10 still loading nothing wrong with that. But, as you can see, there's pretty big difference between these two for sure and the iPhone 10 is still loading, and I feel like it's going to get into that download panel, and it probably didn't even download all the way the pixel 5 is pretty much fully loaded now in the iPhone 10 still taking his time.

Okay, we eventually switched and I knew it. This was such a waste of time pretty much. What I will tell you, though, in terms of the performances is that for sure they're, both very fast phones. I really don't have like an opinion on which one was way faster. As you can see, ram management may actually be better on the pixel 5.

Here. I personally probably think that the pixel 5 may be maybe like a faster phone, but there were times that the iPhone 10 was also faster, and I think maybe loading speeds may be faster on the iPhone on the pixel, 5, and you're definitely getting better ram management for sure, but I also think that quite possibly the iPhone 10 may be a better performing phone once you open the app and all that stuff, so the pixel 5 may be faster to load the apps up, but I feel like the iPhone 10 once the apps are loaded, maybe the better performing phone so that pretty much covers it up in the performance segment. Let's go and hit on the cameras very quickly now, like I said before, dual camera setups on both two 12 megapixel sensors on the iPhone 10, a wide angle lens and a telephoto lens, where the pixel 5 has a 12.2, megapixel wide angle lens. Then a 16 megapixel ultrawide sensor. Now, as you can see, the user interfaces and everything between both- I don't know if one is way better, I mean the pixel 5 may actually have more features built into the camera.

Both phones can do 4k at 60, which is really important, but again one has a telephoto lens. One has an ultrawide sensor and most of the time I actually do kind of like the one that has the ultrawide sensor over there's, just the ones that have the telephoto lens on it. To be honest, now the iPhone 10 camera, I think, is pretty good for the most part, and I think even now it still holds up quite well. I've been doing a lot of comparisons and camera comparisons between this device and a lot of other phones, and I've been saying pretty much time and time again that this camera is pretty good, and it holds up extremely well whether you're trying to go and do like videos on it or photos, or you're trying to do tick, rocks or whatever this phone will be able to handle it. For the most part.

You also have a 7 megapixel front-facing camera. Now you can only do 1080p, you know photos on this front camera, but I still think it's very, very good for a majority of people out there and, I think for sure, an iPhone 10 camera. You know to have it. It's not a bad thing like. I think it's definitely an asset.

However, I do kind of think that the pixel 5 may have a better camera at the end of the day. I feel, like you know, in terms of just the overall software experience of it. Maybe it has a couple more features, but the post-processing of these photos look perfect. Whenever I have taken any photos or videos on the pixel 5 so far it seemed pretty good. You know I haven't, really ran into too many issues as you've seen time and time again.

These photos look perfect, and I think that's a huge asset for the pixel 5. Now this one, like I said before, I can do 4k at 60. The front camera, and this is an 8 megapixel sensor, and you can do 1080p at 30 frames on this front. Camera and I'll probably still tell you, the pixel 5, maybe a little better, not like exponentially crazy amounts, but if you're going from an iPhone 10 to a pixel, 5 expect to have a better camera at the end of the day. So in terms of the pixel 5 and the iPhone x camera that really pretty much covers it up there now ending it off with the battery life.

The pixel 5 has a 4080 million power battery. The iPhone 10 has a 2716 William hour battery, and I'll probably tell you that the iPhone 10 doesn't have quite as good of battery as the pixel 5, and you know with my iPhone 10 specifically, it has to grade a little in battery and I have to kind of keep that in mind, but even if it was still at its full capacity, I still think the pixel 5 will probably have the better battery life even with that 90hz refresh rate. But you get a bigger battery. You get a better experience. Both these have wireless charging.

The pixel 5 also has reverse charging and a little, not reverse wireless charging, but still it's a really cool feature at the end of the day. So in terms of the battery life that pretty much covers it up now, let's go and talk about which one you should pick up, and you know whether you should pick up the pixel 5 or the iPhone 10 I'll go and start off with some pros and cons for the iPhone x. You know this phone is an older phone, so it's not going to be as expensive as something like the pixel 5 right now, and the software experience is still great still an extremely smooth phone. The cameras are great. The build quality is better than the pixel 5.

It feels like a more premium device, which is important to note. Io's is really nice on this thing too, and I feel like it's a smoother experience and maybe even a faster post, opening app experience on the iPhone 10, but, and you also get face ID and all those different things, whereas on the pixel 5. On the other hand, I feel like it's a great device too, and there's really not too much to hate on it. It's a very basic phone. It does cost more than the iPhone 10.

This thing costs 6.99 brand new. You have a great camera on this, a better camera than I think, the iPhone 10 better battery life kind of better performance, IP certification, as well as the iPhone 10. But this one is better on here. The camera is great. Like I say this, the screen is better 90, hertz refresh rate over the standard.

You know whatever 60 hertz this phone had and like I said I don't think you can go wrong with either one of these phones, but I will probably tell you if it was up to me. I may just go and buy an iPhone 10. You know I saved some money, and I'm just so. I already know iOS, but if I didn't have a bias towards iOS already, I may just pick up the pixel 5. You know I feel like this phone has a lot of going for it too.

It's a very safe phone, there's not much to hate on it and I feel like these are like the iPhones of androids, basically, the pixel lineup, because just stock software there's not a lot of frills and whistles and all that stuff. So if you want to pick up either these like I stated before, links are down in the description, but that really pretty much covers it up. If you guys have any other questions or anything.
