Official Apple Smart Battery Case For iPhone 11 Pro Max Review By Big Unbox

What is up guys welcome to the big on box, where we do that small tech in today I am back with another big on boxing for you for the iPhone 11 Pro Max, and today we're back with a case from Apple. This is gonna, be the official smart battery case that was just released. Pricing is definitely gonna, be Steve, crazy, Steve, 12999, I could really before I couldn't justify spending that type of cash hello. But if they're to one of these people that takes a lot of trips travels, a lot I definitely recommend it. I did a couple trips over the summer and I had one for I, think last year's version, and honestly it came in very handy. The phone never died.

So this is one of those things. It's not really a necessity to most people, but for some people this may be something that you're looking forward to. So it's gonna check out the presentation. This is what you're going to get the usual stuff here: iPhone 11 Pro max smart battery case very clean box. Nothing really else to it.

You know they've really changed it up in a while. Actually, the design looks the same as war kind of got that hump to it, but you know it is what it is: it's not terrible. I guess we had a little tab right here. It's not terrible once you get used to it when I first looked at it, I'm like this thing, is hideous looking, but after a while I guess you used to it and the more importantly you used to having that extra battery life, which is probably the most important thing, especially if you're doing a lot of traveling or just day-to-day activity that you need a heavy amount of battery. So let's go and try to pop this out, like this see what else we get here, so you got the little instruction booklet how to put it in that's pretty much.

It got a little designed by Apple literature right there, and then we'll take this one off now. Anybody thinking about rocking this one- this is gonna, be the otter box view case highly recommend this one. This is on a side note right here: I did the review for this one I really like this particular case. One of my bigger hits of the iPhone collection- this is one of the ones that's available at the Apple Store. You can see that design very nicely done.

So, let's put that to the side and then see what you're going to get for the case now this is gonna, be the hump you're going to see that huge home now looks kind of ugly I'm. Not gonna lie about that. You got the Apple logo right there, and then you can see it's its slim up top, and then it transitions to the actual battery. That's pretty thick! Now it's got the silicone feel to it. So it's just like a silicone case that you would actually get from the Apple Store, but it's actually got that weight to it, and then you can obviously see the battery inside.

So it's got them felt like finish on the inside got a little of iPhone branding. You can see that's where it plugs into your phone, but overall decent case I would say in time. It definitely wears it up a little, but that's just one of those things that goes with the case, but overall looks like a silicone case with the hump. So let's put it that way. So it's gonna pop this into place, see we get here.

I think it's kind of smooth like this can I push it into place, and then you can see its kind of like that, and then it should fall right into place where the connector pops right in, like that, and then you should see there you go. The smart battery case is only it's got only a few left, so the smart battery case is actually only got 13% left. So what it's going to do is take from that smart battery until it's dead, so the smart battery case is almost dead, and it's going to give you the full iPhone charge at that point. So let's go and check out. This definitely got some heavy weight to it, and you can see how it looks with the silver wool with the Space Gray iPhone.

Let's check that out looks decent. Let's check out the camera protection I can't see. This is gonna, be too much of an issue, and I'll tell you why, because of that big hump. So when you put it down like this, it's really knocking you see that leverage right there. He really got that gap between the actual back in the hopper see right there.

Look at that gaps, you're not gonna, have any type of issues with the camera being flushed to the actual table. So keep that in mind. That's not a bad thing, especially with that trifecta camera. It's definitely gonna, add some heavy weight to it, but I don't have any issues with the camera protection because of that humps going to give you that leverage right there. Now, let's check out the lip because, everybody does like a fat lip, and this is you know it's about the same.

As usual: Apple official case lip protection. You got a decent protection, I'm rocking a screen protector, so you got a full edge to edge protection. Just turn this on real quick. Let's check that out, so you got a full edge to edge protection. You can see so if you do drop it, it's definitely going to hit that lipid.

In the script protector, first, before here's the screen now a large slider, you know it's a little tough to get, so you can see right there, it's kind of like an afterthought. Most the times, volume up and down, click and responsive. You can see it still got that silicon buttons right there's not an anything different with the buttons and then speaker grille, and get that into focus. You can see what they do there with the speaker, grilles you're not popped out, but they're actually completely like. It looks like continuous of the case itself, so you can see a nice look done and then power button, clicking, responsive and I think this is the new bud where it flipped right to your camera.

Yeah, that's cool! So that's check this out. Real quick turn this off. So this button right here, that's a nice little added function. You can see this button on the side. I can see myself hitting that quite a bit, but right there.

If you just want to get into your camera boom, it automatically launches it so that button on the side right there, it's kind of hidden a little you shouldn't have I guess you shouldn't have too many issues bumping that accidentally, but that's going to get automatically open your camera up. So it's a nice little added function. I thought I did well, it was. It was doing the guy's there you go, so it took a couple presses that time. So overall, is this a hit or miss again? This is not going to be a hit for most people, because most people are going to need that extra battery, but anybody on the travel on the go.

This I would be a definite recommendation for an iPhone just because of the extra battery life where you don't feel really worried about it. I think that's the key is when you're traveling. You don't want to worry about some extra battery stuff, bringing some stuff along with the trip. So this isn't it's going to be like a well functioned extra piece that you can actually just go and throw it on your phone and have to worry about it. For traveling and stuff like that, so for most people it's pretty miss but for people that's traveling and needs a heavy battery.
