Google Pixel 3a vs Galaxy S10e vs iPhone XR - Full Comparison

What's up guys, my name is Brandon, and today we're going to be comparing the three best budget smartphones on the market. Right now, the Google Pixel 3a, the Samsung Galaxy S, 10 II and the iPhone 10 are so in this video. We're going to go over and compare everything, design, camera performance, display, gaming, affordability and more, and if you guys have one of these phones already, let me know down in a comment below how it's been working out for you. How do you, like it, I know a lot of people, always look at the comments to see other people. You know in my comment section seeing how they like their iPhone 10. Are there's any because they're considering buying one so leave a comment down below with your experience? If you have one of these three phones and if you don't have one, hopefully this video will help you figure out which one you should buy.

So, let's get started with the design, so both the Samsung, Galaxy, S, 10, II and the iPhone 10 are, are made of glass and aluminum and have a nice weight to them, whereas the Pixel 3a is made of polycarbonate, which is just plastic and is rather lightweight the iPhone 10 R is definitely the heaviest of the three coming in at 194 grams, compared to 150 on the s10, II and 147 grams on the Pixel 3a, and when holding the phones in your hand and actually using them. The pixel is the only one that doesn't really feel like your typical premium. Smartphone and just again feels lightweight, and you could tell that it's made of plastic. However, I will say that it is a very attractive phone with that two-tone look and that matte feel on the bottom. It just feels great in the hand.

It looks great it's one of those phones. We could just see from far away and know that it's a pixel because it looks so good on the back and, of course, the iPhone 10 R and the S Minnie are also very attractive. Looking phones, but I would have to say that the black pixel looks the best overall with the red 10 are coming in second, and probably the Ste coming in last, but again, all of them look great now. Both these Samsung Galaxy S, 10 II and the Pixel 3a have headphone jacks for the iPhone 10 R does not have a headphone jack. Now, I, don't know about you, but the headphone jack really doesn't mean anything to me.

I have completely wireless headphones now at the Galaxy buzz at the airport, I've wireless over the ear headphones, so I never really need a headphone jack. But if that's a big deal to you, it is worth noting that the iPhone 10 R is the only one of these three without a headphone jack. Now the iPhone 10 R. It's also the only phone of these three that does not use USB-C, so the Samsung Galaxy S 10 and the Pixel 3a, both use, USB and obviously USB- is the way to go and 2019 and in the future. So I would definitely take some points off of the iPhone for having the Lightning port still.

Another interesting thing to note is that the Pixel 3a is the only one of these three phones with buttons on the right hand, side. So the iPhone 10 R and the Samsung Galaxy S 10 II have the buttons, on the left, hand, side and also a button on the right side, but the Pixel 3a has buttons on the right side and absolutely no buttons on the left-hand side. So it's a little weird to get used to when most phones have buttons on the left-hand side. But that is also something worth noting about. The design.

I also wanted to mention a great thing about the iPhone 10 R. This is the only phone with a mute switch, so neither one of these two phones, the S tinny or the pixel 3 a have a mute switch which is a disadvantage for me, I mean I love having the meets, which I love being able to turn my phone on or off of the sound without having to actually press the volume buttons. There's just one little click to be able to go from silent mode to having sound, so I love that there's a neat switch on the iPhone sent are now moving on to the display. So the Pixel 3a has a 5.6 inch OLED display with a resolution of 1080 by 22 20 and a pixel density of 441 pixels per inch. Meanwhile, the s10 he has a 5.8 inch AMOLED display with a 1080 by 22 ad display and 438 pixels per inch, and then we have the iPhone 10 R, which has the biggest screen of them all at six point one inches- and this is also an LCD, not an OLED display. We also have a resolution of 828 by 1792 and a pixel density of 326 pixels per inch.

So on paper it may look like the Pixel 3a has the best display of these three. But, as you all know, the numbers don't really tell the whole story. There are other factors like true tone on the iPhone 10, our HDR 10, plus on the s10 II and the vibrant wide color gamut on the iPhone 10. Our and the truth is you only be able to tell a better display by using the phone for a little while and then comparing it to the other phones. You can't really tell just from these specs and the know the numbers, the pixels per inch and things like that.

You have to actually use the phones and after using these phones for a little, here's the order I would put the displays in, so I would have to say that the S 10 has the best display of the three. The iPhone 10 R has the second-best display, and then the Pixel 3a is last now it's not a bad display, but it's just not as great as the iPhone and, of course the iPhone is not as good as the s10 II. The AMOLED display on the Aston II is definitely sharper than the iPhone 10 are petite. NR has better colors overall, like the wide color gamut and the sharpness on the iPhone.10 r is also better than that on the pixel, but overall the Aston II does have the best display of these three. So now, let's talk about performance.

So the iPhone 10 R has apples a 12 chip with three gigabytes of RAM. The STE has the snapdragon 855 processors, with 6 gigabytes of RAM, or you can also get the 256 gigabyte model which comes with 8 gigabytes of RAM. Then we have the Pixel 3a with the Snapdragon 670, processor and 4 gigabytes of RAM. So while the iPhone 10 are, and the s10 d have the same chipset as their flagship brothers, the Pixel 3a has a much more lackluster processor and after running various speed tests, it's obvious that the Pixel 3a is it near as fast as either one of these 2 devices. Now it's not slow, it's no holds its own still keeps up somewhat, but it's just not near as fast, especially when it comes to gaming compared to the s10 D and the iPhone 10 R.

Now, when it comes to the S 10 II and the iPhone 10 R, the iPhone 10 R does outperform the s 10 II, but not by much, and if you've been watching my content. Lately, you would have already seen my full speed test comparison between these two phones. If you haven't, I will link it up in the cards, it's also down in the description below, but the iPhone 10 are definitely outperformed over the s10 II again when it came to gaming, especially the iPhone.10 are excels. So now, let's move on to the camera and the camera are probably going to be a big reason. You may want to pick up or even consider the Pixel 3a, so only Pixel 3a.

We have a single lens, which is 12 point 2 megapixels, with an F 1.8. We also have dual LED flash and HDR on the s10 a have a dual camera setup with a 12, megapixel, F 1.5, and also a 16 megapixel F 2.2, also with LED flash and HDR, and then the iPhone 10 R has a single lens camera, which is 12 megapixels at F 1.8 with a quad LED, dual tone, flash and HDR, and as for video recording, all three can shoot 4k at 30fps, but only the iPhone and the Galaxy can shoot 4k 60 and after using the iPhone 10 R and the S 10 for months. I did conclude that I preferred the iPhone camera over the galaxy both are great, but that smart HDR feature on the iPhone 10 are in the iPhones and general. The Edlund, 10s and 10s max is just game-changing. It basically just adds more detailed, highlights and shadows to your photos, but without making them look fake or overexposed or over contrast, and for video recording the iPhone 10 R is also superior.

The colors the optic image stabilization, the audio it picks up. Just everything is better than the SND I think the iPhone 10 R and the 10s and the 10s Macs have the best video cameras on the market right now, and it's not really that close to me now. The Pixel 3a has some tough competition. Obviously after everything you just heard, but men I have to say that I was surprised with how well the pictures and the videos looked coming from a $400 phone. I mean the dynamic range in portrait mode.

Is it near as good as others on the market like the iPhone 10s Macs and the S 10, plus even the S 10 II? But when it comes to low-light photography, the Pixel 3a definitely shines. So it's perfect in low-light conditions, both on the rear facing and the front facing camera. So now, let's talk about those front facing cameras, real quick. So all three phones have a single front-facing camera. The iPhone 10 arm has a seven megapixel F 2.2, the s10 II has a 10 megapixel F 1.9, and the Pixel 3a has an 8, megapixel, f 2.0 and after shooting, selfies and videos from the front-facing camera. I must say that the Pixel 3a here has the best front-facing camera overall, and that was actually astounding to me again.

The low-light selfies just blew me away with how much better they were than the iPhone 10 are, and the s10 II now in daylight. I would say that the est any probably has the best front-facing camera, but it's not by much I mean they're. All pretty close I would just say that any pixel 3 is the best overall, mostly because of how impressive it was in low-light conditions. Now moving on to the battery life, so the iPhone 10 R has a 29:42 William hour battery. The s.

Techno has a 30 100 million power battery and the pixel 3 a has a 3000 William hour battery and when it comes to real-world usage, I would have to give the win here to the s10 II. That battery is just excellent. Even when powering such a high resolution screen the iPhone 10-hour battery is solid, but it's not near as good as Apple made. It seems during its announcement last year and the pixel 3 an also has a great battery, but even given the much lower resolution screen, it still died before my s10 II did buy a few minutes and I would not choose one of these devices over the other strictly for battery life, because they're all very, very similar you're, pretty much going to get all day usage, but it's not going to be a huge difference in battery between these three at all. Now, let's talk about affordability, which is another big reason you may be looking into getting the Pixel 3a, so the iPhone 10 R comes in at $750 for the 64 gigabyte model, 800 for 128 and $900 for 256 gigabytes.

The STE comes in at 750 for 128 and 850 for 256, and the Pixel 3a only has one option: $400 for 64 gigabytes of storage, and there is no expandable storage on the Pixel 3a or the iPhone 10 are so sitting at 350 dollars less than the iPhone 10 are, and the S 10 II. The Pixel 3a is easily the most affordable of these three phones, but does that make it the Best, Buy and I would say? No? Definitely not. The Pixel 3a is lacking in performance, design, display and even somewhat in the camera. So with that being said, I can't recommend getting the Pixel 3a over either of these two phones strictly based off the price. Now, when it comes to the s10 II and the iPhone 10 R, this is ultimately going to come down to software preference.

Both phones are neck-and-neck and nearly every category, so you're just going to have to know what it is you care about most and a phone and then choose whichever one does, what you need best and for me, the best of these three phones has to be the iPhone 10 R. It is a performance beast. The camera is absolutely amazing. The build quality is excellent, has a nice weight to it, and you have iOS for the software, which is a major Pro for me. Now, on the other hand, the iPhone 10 R, doesn't have the best display or the battery life.

So if you care most about those two things you may want to pick up, or at least consider a Galaxy S, 10 II, and if you're on a major budget, or you just take tons of low-light selfies, then the Pixel 3a is a solid choice for $400. But then again you can pick up a used note, 9 or an S 9 for that same price and have much better performance. So again, it's just going to come down to what you want and need most and a phone and how much you're willing to spend for everything that you want in need. So yeah guys. That is my comparison between the Pixel 3a, the Samsung Galaxy s, 10 II and the iPhone 10 are the three best budget I'll put that in quotes, because they're not really budget phones, because they're, expensive, especially STE and the iPhone 10 are, but they are considered budget compared to the flagship.

So that's why I say budget, but anyway, that is my comparison between the three I hope you guys did enjoy wait. Let me know which one you prefer and what you thought about this video down in comments below. Also, make sure to give this video a thumbs up if you did enjoy it and, of course, subscribe for a lot more comparisons like this in the future. Anyways guys thanks him for watching the video, and I'll see you soon.
