Google Pixel 3 XL Unboxing! By Tim Schofield

Everyone Tim Schofield here it's time to do my full unboxing of the Google Pixel 3xl. This is the white color with that mint green colored button so excited to check it out. We're going to take a quick look at what comes in the box and then also take a full look at the phone itself: a lot more videos coming soon on this device. The pixel 3 full reviews, camera videos, all that good stuff, so be sure to click that subscribe button. So you notified out those future videos. But with that being said, let's go ahead and get started.

Let's get started. Here's the brand-new pixel, 3 XL and a bonus look at the new case for the phone I'll set that to the side. For now, let's go ahead and open up the pixel three XL box and right away, of course, greeted with the phone itself I'd like to set that to the side for just a second. While we take a look at what else comes in the box. So up top here looks like we have a group of booklets and a sim ejection tool which is on the bottom of the phone.

Actually I'll. Take a look at that in a second, let's get started: guide team, pixel, a sticker from Google and, of course, just a user guide standard. Of course in here take a look and ear. What do you know? They do include some headphones, really nice of them to do that. I can actually go ahead and pull these out, and we can take a closer look.

Here is the closer look. They are USB type-c headphones because there's no headphone jack in the pixel 3 XL or the pixel 3 you'll see a G on the outside of these earbuds. You can actually pull on this strap a little to actually give you a little more of a loop if you need to or actually pull it down to make a little smaller. If you need to tighten it depending on your ear size and then of course, here's a look at what the earbuds look like, also noteworthy, just a different colored button on the microphone and the controller right here. Moving along looks like we do have a converter from USB type-c 2 USB type-a input right there.

Setting that aside. Also look at this Apple make note who wasn't cheap, like you guys they included a dongle. Of course, not the greatest to use you'd rather have a headphone jack, but at least they have an option to actually use your headphones that do have a headphone jack, also continuing on USB type-c, 2, USB, type-c, cable, nicer. Just sticking with that I think it's about time. We move away from USB type egg and finally, again hey make a note Apple looking at this.

This is a power brick, of course, USB type-c input right here, but it is fast charging and GUE. Android has had fast charging for a long long long time and I think it's about time. That's annoying enough! That Apple doesn't include it to start really mentioning it in videos. Alright, now that I have a big mess in front of me, let's take a look at the device itself. So here is the pixel three XL I didn't want to talk while peeling that off sorry about that, let's go ahead and press the power button and while it boots up, we can kind of take a closer look at the phone itself down at the bottom.

As I mentioned, it actually has the SIM card slot. So you'll see here, you will have to eject it from the bottom, which I actually don't think I've seen before USB type-c input for charging here is a look on the right side with that mint button, which I do really like I like how they mixed it up this year and then, of course, white volume buttons up towards the top. Just a microphone they're flipping it over on the left side of the phones, absolutely nothing on the back of the phone very white right now, you'll see here. I will actually will turn this down. Just a little see a bit of a curl right here, which makes it a little different.

Last year's model. Just had a straight line with the difference between the reflective part and the unreflective part G down in the back and then, of course, on the front of the phone. We do have front firing speakers and then all the way up at the top is where that notch and dual camera system is, so you'll see they're, fairly larger notch. However, it does house two cameras, of course, with that wide-angle lens next up, I'm going to run through the setup process and only talk about anything that really is noteworthy. The first thing touch the sensor, so touch that fingerprint scanner, which for me is in a perfect spot for my hand.

I, can just comfortably set my porn or finger on it. That was really quick to set it up. I can add another if I'd like to I'm not going to it, does give you the option to review additional apps if you'd like to have those I'm going to hit OK. Adding finishing touches, may take a few minutes, and we are on the home screen very easy setup process to give you the option to transfer data sign in to your accounts. I didn't do any of that for the sake of time, but right away, let's go ahead and jump into settings.

Of course, I want to take a look at storage right out of the box, so you'll see here out of the 64 gigs ten point. Six three gigs is used right out of the box and there we have it. This is the brand-new pixel. Three XL I do have a full, hands-on video I will link to that down below, if you'd like a little more in-depth, hands-on. But there's a look at the apps right out of the box.

All your standard, Google, suite apps swiping back down jumping into settings. You do have your standard Google settings. Of course, Android 9pi. The latest version right out of the box, here's another quick, close up of that display and the pixel 3 XL and, of course, those front firing. Stereo speakers coming at you and yes, I- did promise an extra unboxing.

So here is that pixel three XL case we can go ahead and open that on up- and here it is right here we could take it out of the box- looks like it is stuck in there. There we go a hashtag team, picks, oh of course, and there it is a nice feeling case a little of a give to it. We can take a closer look at it, so you can see that texture that feel softer touch. Of course, a little different, look at the button, as opposed to the casing on the volume rockers and that's the close up of it. What's going to pop it on the phone itself, and this will give us a good opportunity to test that fingerprint scanner while we're at it.

So here's a look does not cover up the charging port at all, doesn't cover the screen whatsoever and, of course, perfect cutouts, fingerprint scanner and that camera as well. So, let's test out that fingerprint scanner, three two one set down and unlocks right away: three: two one unlocks and I do like the vibration feedback. It seems like they updated the motor on the pixel 3xl, let's go ahead, and do it one more time. One two three unlocks right away seems to be very accurate, very quick, as expected, all fingerprint scanners out right now are that way. So, overall, that is my full video on the Google Pixel 3xl.
