BlackBerry KEY2 Smartphone Review

Hi everyone this is Dave and welcome to a new video on the geeky noise channel in today's video I'm. Looking at this, the BlackBerry key to smartphone and one of the first phones I, can remember ever wanting really, really wanting was a blackberry, smartphone, and I didn't manage to get one when they first come out because I just couldn't afford one, but things moved on everything moved on to touchscreen, smartphones, thinner, bezels and the keyboard became an on-screen keyboard. Well, BlackBerry have come back with the key to, and this is a combination of a really nice-sized touchscreen, with a physical QWERTY keyboard. So the BlackBerry key to mix is a 4.5 inch, IPS display with a 16 20 by 1080 resolution screen as 433 pixels per inch. It's also got a snapdragon 616 optical processor, jewel, 12, megapixel cameras, one offering a wide-angle one offering telephoto, and they make a pixel front facing camera as well. Inside we've got a 3600 William hour battery and this particular variant has got 6 gigabytes of RAM, 128 gigabytes of storage, and it also has some jeweled SIM capability as well.

Now, before I talk to you further about the BlackBerry Kit I do want to let you know that BlackBerry sent me out this so that I could complete the video they haven't asked me to say anything in particular. All the opinions expressed are indeed my own I've also left some links down in the video description area to where you can pick up one of these for yourself and also to the BlackBerry website. So the first thing I want to talk to you is about the split between the screen and the physical keyboard. Now the screens are very nice. Size is nice and evenly lit really nice colors, and it's awesome for watching back videos and indeed for viewing back the photos you've taken with the camera.

The keyboard is just the right size. I've picked up quite a bit of speed, I've been relearning how to use a physical keyboard, and it's not a disappointment. It works beautifully. It's also got a built-in fingerprint sensor into the space bar, which means you can unlock the smartphone very quickly. Indeed, when we look at the cameras, the front-facing camera is for selfies.

These rear-facing cameras, both telephoto and wide, are absolutely superb. They capture perfect photo quality, nice amount of detail, and when we look at video, we've got up to 4k or UHD resolution at 30 frames per second, and the video quality is very good as well. Even the microphones, when you're recording video pick up perfect sound and when you're recording somebody's speaking it comes through nice and clear. We've got some nice touches as well. We've got this swipe out tray at the side where we can gain quick access to features that we've use.

Quite often, we've also got convenience key just here as well, which we can push to launch things. We've got the regular Google, Android interface and, of course, access to the full app tray. Should we wish to scroll through what we've got installed on the phone, and this has got full Google Play Store support with extra security on top thanks to blackberry? It gives you that extra peace of mind performance while I've been using this, has been exemplary. I've seen no sort of slowdown, the very, very snappy performance when transitioning between screens I've been using this for a mix of business, use social media and checking my emails. It's been a really nice experience.

I love the feel of the phone in the hand as well. It's just the right size, and it feels like a nice quality device. Now only we've got a good quality screen, but the sides feel very nice, and this textured back is just very drippy, and it just adds an air of luxury that you don't get with some other smartphones. All in all, the BlackBerry Kit has been a really nice experience for me. I've been pleased with the performance exceptionally pleased with the battery life and also really surprised with how the camera performs as well.

It's performed way above what I was expecting. If you want a perfect Google Android smartphone that mixes the convenience of a touchscreen with the speed of a physical keyboard, then this is well worth checking out thanks very much for watching. This has been my review of the BlackBerry key to.
