ZTE Blade A7 Prime | $69 Price with GREAT CAMERAS! By J. Williams

All right guys welcome back to another video with your man jay. So this is the ZTE blade a7 prime and this phone came out almost two years ago. You know what it's still selling right now on visible wireless uh. This phone is only 69, and it's for someone who needs a smartphone simple as that it's running an older version of android, but still it's its pretty interested in the specs uh you've got uh glass front and back you got a glass front, plastic back plastic frame. I'm sorry, you've got the hybrid sim slot. Uh you've got a six inch, IPS lcd 720 by 1560 uh, but you do have a power VR g8320 for the GPU and that's kind of crazy when you think about it.

This is from almost two years ago, but I think that's pretty good though, and you have the hello 822, and I've used that processor before, and it's a pretty decent processor, three gigs of ram 32 gigs on board storage, a five megapixel front shooter, so 1080p footage is probably the highest you'll get out of this and does have a rear mounted fingerprint reader. And it's got like an uh, it's a silver color. It's got like an um uh like it's like a soft touch back, it looks like it has, and we'll check it out in this video I'll, give you a full rundown of this phone. So if you just need a phone, and you're on visible, this is an option for you. So let's get it out of the box here, yeah, it's like a soft touch.

Um! It's not like it's like a really soft sandstone. That's what it is. They kill me with the stickers but yeah, it's like a really soft sandstone, which is pretty, pretty nice hard to explain, but it actually feels pretty good. So you got your cable in here, and this is type c remember. This is almost two years ago charging brick in uh type, c, cable and instruction manual, but I want to fire this up uh, because I want to get into checking out if it's a sluggish phone- or you know things like that, so uh here is the information on the front here again.

Uh again, this is uh. It's got facial recognition! Okay, so I like this little red accented button right here now the blade 10 uh prime I use has that same red button, but this one's kind of textured, that's actually pretty dope, and then you got that single shooter back there and the fingerprint reader is like all like a glass black glass see-through headphone jack on the top, which is pretty crazy, sim tray over there, and then you got an uh type c and microphone on the bottom. This phone feels good man. It's its crazy! There's, there are phones out there uh that people probably overlook for all the wrong reasons. I'm telling you this is.

This is a good feeling phone in the hand uh and the fact that it's 69 bucks. This is a phone that you would now and some of you guys say. Well, I wouldn't use that regularly. If I had to use this regularly, I would but this is a phone that I would give uh to a first phone to some first smartphone to someone or a person. I just want to save some money and get them into a very good-looking device, but at the same time has functionality and features that you could possibly need.

Now, I'm sure this has been sitting on the shelf for a very long time, but the battery comes in at 91. So that's pretty good. This may take up to four minutes. Wow, I'm definitely not going to make you wait for. Oh, okay, there we go, let's say man, so it's going to skip through this, so I can get into it again.

This is uh being sold on visible, and I think this on this is on track phone as well uh. If I'm not mistaken. I believe this is on trace as well, all right so connecting to my network. My Wi-Fi is up. I really want to get in and check out these cameras and just giving you a full run through of the software should be pretty interesting, all right.

So here's the device man uh. This is one beautiful display. I must add uh, let's get in here and let's crank up this brightness here to show you. This is the display here. This is a fairly nice looking display offhand, the 20 by nine.

I'm sure this is 20 by nine. This is absolutely a good feeling phone in the hand. Now I set up the fingerprint reader and everything, but this back here is really smooth and soft to the touch uh. The fingerprint is fairly fast. Do I do both fingers fairly fast? This is a good phone man for 70 bucks.

I mean you really can't beat that. I guess I mean if you just need a phone, and you want to get into the smartphone game. This is an option for you, so we're going to go into the settings, I'm going to go into home, screen settings here and switch it to 6x5. Yes, it's available. I like that.

I like that. So now, the app tray is oh yeah, so this is. This is probably going to be pretty nice, I'm going to go ahead and arrange this just for a second bear with my folks. I want to get some stuff out here that I'm going to watch or going to keep on the device or whatever. So let's get rid of this and let's get my Gmail out here, and then I'll get the device set up on how I'm going to use it, but for now um, let's get into the settings here, let's get into the menu here um.

Let's look for some bloatware um. Since this is one of ZTE's older devices, it has a mail, app email, app which is pretty dope. I think that's pretty good uh, so you got a music gap. You got. Google keeps you got a file manager.

You got FM radio, so that's definitely not blow nothing on here. Folks, no, no bloat with no Facebook any of this! So that's pretty good, and you got the messaging app as the default app remember. This phone came out in 2019 uh. So let's get into settings here uh here we go, so I believe this phone has NFC too. It's got tap to pay on here.

You got DTS sound uh. You got the screen recorder built in really, really nice man, okay, okay, you got power, saving mode, so uh. First up here is obviously the um internet settings or whatever no no NFC. On this one, okay, now no NFC on this one, but that's okay, no NFC on this one! So that's all right, but it still should be pretty interesting man. This should be pretty interesting, so you've got uh.

You got your Bluetooth connected devices right here, apps and notifications in the settings. It's pretty nice. I haven't installed anything on here either, and I believe this has like only 32 gigs of storage or whatever, but I think it might have a SD card slot. So let me double-check that real, quick and just want to check this real fast here. I'm pretty sure this has a SD card, because back in the day, yup has a SD card back in the day, phones had SD cards, which was a huge plus so yeah, that's that's a beast mode right there.

So you got your uh features right here: navigation, navigation, keys. Alright, here we go, so I can turn on swipe gestures. This is pretty dope right here. Oh, I can go all the way in yeah. This is the way I like it right here.

There we go yeah record, screen, gestures and motions three finger pinches. I never use that flip to move mute, though, as soon as you stop uh change the earpiece, that's a dope feature from them, um shake for flashlight. I couldn't get this on the ultra either. Furthermore, I don't know I can't get it on. Furthermore, I can't get it on here: either man, it's one of those things that it works.

Sometimes it works. But at least I got my gestures on here, so now I get that full screen, which is what I really, really like um. So you know you got your battery. It's got the power saving mode. This one has all the functionality and features of the older.

I mean the newer devices right here man, so this is pretty sweet. I like that. Furthermore, I like that, got your display. Um. You got your wallpaper.

These are some of the wallpapers they have in here. I like the one that's on their yeah. This is awesome right there, and these are these even, even though this is from two years ago. These are current wallpapers right here on some of their latest devices. Man.

It's crazy yeah. These are. These are wallpapers from that's one of my favorites right there. These are wallpapers from their current devices. Man there's nothing wrong with that.

Really nice. All right, I need got your display size. I change the display size down. Sometimes um, you got your font size led indicator which I like that screen saver all good, and the dark theme applies to like the theme itself. For some reason it doesn't show in the menu settings right now.

Unless I need to do something different, but sound environment, you know you can. That's all you sound here's your story here, so 32, gigs of storage. I believe that's all this has and um. I don't have anything on it yet, so I would use the SD card with this more than likely uh but yeah. Furthermore, I don't think I'll have 30 gigs worth of apps for sure, but just to have that extra comfort, I will go ahead and want to have um that that on there, so we're going to look at something else too.

Here in just a second um screen readers accessibility. This is all nice man. I definitely turn this off power button is cause. I've accidentally hung up on so many people. It's incredible! You have no idea all right, get your Google service and that's pretty much it mans.

Let me just check. I have to check all right, no wide angle, lenses on phones like this on the front or the rear. Whatever you get in view, it's what you get in view uh and even though it's kind of gloomy out, it's still uh kind of bright outside. So this is the front camera. Okay, I'll admit those photos were way more impressive than I thought they were going to be so um yeah man.

That's that's that's crazy! I don't know. I don't know what to say man. Furthermore, I mean um, a lot of phones uh. This phone isn't um like sluggish at all. In my experience, I'm gonna fire up a video here.

It is. It has a backfiring speaker and that's pretty strange. I haven't seen that, but again this is 2000 and um. This is 2019. So bear that in mind.

So I can get a video going here. Let's change the resolution all the way up, because I knew the resolution was going to be down all right. Let's get that, let's get that right so, before you get caught up in the hype of asking me, should you buy these or buy the previous generation Pixel Buds? Let's talk about the pixel blood a's. Now the stutter that you see there is simply because the processor inside, because I'm playing it at 1080p, let's see if I can switch it to 720p and see if I can eliminate that for just a little. These things are absolutely comfortable to use just like the pixel buzz previous generation, so the pixel bud a's.

Obviously this is a beautiful display. Man I mean I, I don't see any reason to hate this phone right now: um yeah man, that's that was at full brightness, but I don't see a reason to hate this phone right like for real. If I had to use this and like I wasn't like this spec head uh, I definitely would be okay with this uh, because I got a lot of I get a lot of phones in man and um. It is hard to please somebody, sometimes, if they're used to using one thing like um. Let me get my.

I got in my pocket right here. The OnePlus 9 pro right here, um powerhouse, but in the end, if I had to use something else, I'd like this, and I was on a tight budget or I just didn't- I ain't got to be you- don't even have to be on a tight budget to use a phone. Some people don't want to spend 900 or a thousand dollars on a phone. So this is the phones that they're buying 69 for this phone, no joke folks, if you're on visible wireless. This is an option, and this phone's been out for almost two years, and here we are in 2021.

The build quality is good. I like the way it looks. It's got type c. It has a backfiring speaker, but that speaker is actually pretty loud. I mean this is a good, clean design? Man, it's really nice texture volume.

Rocker, I mean this is pretty it's pretty nice folks, beautiful screen. I don't know it's up to you. I think it's pretty sweet man, so fingerprint reader is what we need about today's standards, using the fingerprint reader is a must social man, j, blade, seven uh, blade, a7, prime, on visible and again. Furthermore, I think this is on track phone. Two, it's totally worth, 69 bucks.
