ZTE Blade 11 Prime | Let's talk a little bit about this phone!

So picking a new smartphone under 200 just got a lot easier because visible and yahoo mobile teamed up with ZTE, and they brought us the blade 11 prime now. Unfortunately, this is a carrier exclusive device. You can only get it on visible and yahoo mobile. I don't know how I don't know anybody that uses yahoo mobile, but I know tons of people that use visible. So if you have a visible link, you can go ahead and post it down below. This is one of those videos where I'm going to go ahead and allow links in the video.

So you guys can share the love because visible definitely has unlimited party. Basically what I've heard. I did a live unboxing of this device uh and now with visible. Anyone can jump on the plan and I think that's fantastic, because that way you guys can save money on visible, and you also can pick up whatever phone you want. But this video is about the blade 11 prime, because this is one of ZTE's latest devices, but it is in fact their latest devices heading towards the ultimate prepaid or the under 200 price range.

When I say under 200, it's 192 bucks and to me, it's well worth 192, so the first thing I want to talk about is the build quality on this thing: the build quality on here fantastic. It is a plastic body, but if, if you didn't know it, it could come across as looking as it has metal sides on it, but it is definitely plastic and uh. What makes it unique is it has a nice texture on it and you really it's hard to pick up over video, but really, really nice texture and what it gives it like. A yeah, definitely a texture on there, and I think it's really nice, because in that situation, if you don't want to buy a case, you genuinely don't have to this phone feels good in the hand. That's not a very strong, it's not like sandstone texture, but it's a nice mild feedback when you touch it, and it gives you some form of grip, it just lets.

You know the phone is in your hand. Now the fingerprint reader is mounted on the side of the device, and I think that's just great. I think for way we hold our phones, you might as well use your thumb or your index finger on your other hand, so fingerprint reader on the side, uh headphone jack, on the top- and I think that's pretty sweet. It is type c, and it has a loudspeaker now how about the screen and how beautiful it is even coming in at 720p coming in at 720p. This is kind of strange, because the blade 10, which is right here, the one I was using previous to this.

It actually has a 1080p display, and I find it strange that they decided to switch and go down in resolution while making the display bigger. So this is 6.5 and this is 6.3, and this is 1080p and this is 720p bars. So while that does affect some things on the device not really so much across watching video, because everything can upscale on YouTube, so that's a huge plus, or you can go ahead and just enjoy how big the display is coming in at 20 by nine opposed to the 19 by nine, so beautiful display coming in at 720p. I don't think people really care too much about resolution when they're shopping for phones at this price range, or they're a dedicated customer to visible, or they just like the way. The phone looks.

Some people buy phones solely on the way they look I. e. Some people bought a purple iPhone just because it was purple, or they bought a red one or a blue one or a white one. You get what I'm saying so this one right here, speaking of color, only comes in one color, and it is this blue. Just like the previous year, it only came in black on the blade 10.

So the display on here is absolutely great. Now the software it is stock, android uh, and it's running android 11 right out of the box. Now it's not on the May security patch, like some of our other phones out there, but in fact it is running android 11. So we'll see how long this phone gets support. Uh.

If that's a thing to you, I don't think consumers. I've had this discussion and I won't say argument. I've had this discussion multiple times with people, and I told them that most consumers don't even know what security pests are on. They don't even know what security, what uh, what level of security their Google Play Store is on because those are different. So it's weird to see that that's an argument in the tech community most times but in reality is reality in the real world.

Consumers don't really care about security patches, and they don't even really care what version of android they're on they see something they like it. They use it and at 192 bucks this phone packs a feature that some phones don't pack in this price range, and it is wireless charging and reverse wireless charging, now reverse wires. Trolling charging. When I was doing the live, unboxing was kind of tricky. I didn't fully pay attention to what I read, and so it's not reverse wireless charging.

It's reverse charging, because this has a 4 000 William hour battery inside, and you plug in type c to type c, and you can charge something else from this device, so it acts as a power bank. Basically. So that is a huge plus, but the fact that this phone has wireless charging that is fantastic for 192 dollars. Someone tells me in the comments, if you're watching this, what phone do you know has wireless charging at a hundred and ninety-two dollars? I don't know very many at all. If any so, I think they hit the nail on the head when they decided to put wireless charging in here, because that gives uh the community of people that buy phones at this lower cost.

They might have wanted wireless charging, but they didn't want to spend 500 and above just to get it or whatever. The higher prices are for phones that come in wireless charging. Maybe they just didn't want to do it now, ZTE, when you think about it, they're doing something: that's unique in their own, but they're giving reverse charging, and they give them wireless charging, and I think that's a huge plus right there, just that feature alone, coupled with the stock, android uh and just the way this. This phone performs its pretty decent and speaking of performance gaming. So I always use asphalt 9 as kind of benchmark, because some phones cannot handle asphalt.9. , some versions of android just can't handle it, and I think that uh with that being said this phone to me handled it just fine, which means, if we can play asphalt, 9 bars um.

It can probably play a lot of other games. I just always use asphalt 9 for one, it's an it's a graphic, intense game, and also I like to play that game. If ever I want to test something out on a device, so I think asphalt.9 runs great on here. I mean. If there are a few frame drops there they're very few and far between so performance on here is going to be just fine for those people that bought this device.

I don't think you'll have a problem, so uh day-to-day tasks, though I. e. like Twitter, Instagram and things like that. You're fine you're going to fly through the menus. It's got four gigs of ram, and then it also has um uh 64 gigs on board storage with a SD card.

So that's a huge plus. So the fact that you have four gigs of ram at this price point, and then you have pretty good performance from the hello p22 is what's in here, and the hello p60 is what's in the blade 10, but I don't think you're going to see much difference. If you have that phone for two years. Like me, I don't think you'll see much difference. I think this phone is absolutely great and for the price point you can actually buy this for eight dollars a month on yahoo, mobile or visible.

You know, and- and I say that, because a lot of people just don't have two hundred dollars to kick out two hundred dollars by today's standards and an economy we have today. It is a lot of money. It is a lot of money. In example, I spent 57 to fill up one of my vehicles. A lot of people can't do that.57 bucks to fill up. That's a lot of money, so paying eight dollars a month is well within a lot of people's range of spending per month.

Uh you can budget for eight dollars a month. I would say: if you're going to finance a phone, try to finance a phone, that's less than ten dollars that way, you're not hurting too much, because sometimes you go out to eat at places you shouldn't like fast food chains. I won't call anyone, but we go out to eat these fast food chains, or sometimes we're at work, and we hit that vending machine. Well, not me, but if you're at work, and you hit that vending machine, you might spend four dollars so budgeting for a new device. I think it's okay, man, I think you'll be fine with this.

If you decide to finance it at eight dollars a month on visible or yahoo mobile, I think you'll be fine. I think this device, um is definitely now, let's be clear here. Let me clear my throat. There are plenty of phones out there that are 200 or close to this price range. They're technically, on paper offer a bunch more.

You can even get previous year's flagships if you want to, but just remember we're talking about the regular average Joe or family, that's walking into a place or going online or going into Walmart those people I'm talking about, which is the majority of the world they're not out shopping for previous years, flagships flagships, and they're not out doing that much research. They walk into a location, a boost mobile at Walmart or target anywhere. That's going to sell phones at this price range, and they get sold on it and then that's that they don't think twice about it, probably and then they move on that's kind of how it works and that's what the majority of the world does. I can't count the number of times I've been in Walmart and I see people buying things, and I'm just like okay, you know they're buying that phone, and you know they're not checking for a 790 80 phone 830, my bad they're, not looking for a 830 dollar phone with 64 gigs of storage, they're. Looking for that 200 phone, what 64 gigs of stores with a SD card go figure.

So it's your man, j hope you guys enjoyed follow-up real briefly on this thing. It's great man, if you're wondering about battery life, I haven't fully tackled it yet, but I can tell you in the 48 hours it's doing fantastic. You should be well above 80 percent in battery uh, depending on what you're doing in that 48 hours. It's your man, j hope you guys enjoyed the blade.11 prime, is pretty good.
