Samsung Galaxy Fold 3 - This Can't Be Real!

Today we have a shocking discovery for the Samsung Galaxy z, fold, 3, and I'll be sharing the details right after this. , if you're new here and want to stay up to date with the latest tech. Please hit subscribe, followed by the bell. You can also keep up on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter by clicking the links in the description. So this week we've got news of many changes and improvements to the Samsung Galaxy z, fold 3, along with some radical design changes before we get started, though, please like the video, if you're a fan of Samsung. Let me know in the comments what country you're actually watching today's video from, but the first story of the day is about the larger inner display of the Samsung Galaxy z fold.3. a couple of weeks ago, we shared some details from cozy planes that advised of a smaller inner display of 7 inches and, as I said at the time, there wasn't really evidence to go with it.

It seems that this may have been partly true, however, is reliable, display analyst Ross young has now tweeted to say that the galaxy fold, 3 main display, is going to shrink from 7.59 inches to 7.55. So it's a much smaller reduction than cozy plane stated, but Ross young also states that the cover display is going to be reduced from 6.23 inches to 6.1, and the reason behind these reductions is that more space is required internally for the new s pen to be housed, the main display is also going to be getting thicker ultra-thin glass than its predecessor, and we get a LPO 120 Hz display. We also have news of camera upgrades on the Galaxy Z, volt 3 and while many were speculating a 600 megapixel sensor after ice universe advice, it was in the works. I don't think this is ever going to make it to the fold. We have no idea how far away from mass production this sensor is when it comes to the folding devices from Samsung.

We generally get much more reserved resolutions, while there will of course be some improvements to the cameras. I would expect something much closer to the predecessor's camera setup and that was a triple 12 megapixel camera. We also have new 3d renders of a Samsung Galaxy z43 from pigtail, which again shows us a double folding design, and it does tie in with the z fold name. The new 3d renders, from pigtail give us a good look at this new device in multiple different folded positions, and while it looks like a cool device, I think it's a bit too far from the z fold design. This isn't the first time we've seen a triple folding device and the reason they're appearing is that let's go digital uncovered a patent a while ago, and this was showcasing this type of device when it comes to Samsung.

They file a lot of patents to protect their ideas, but it doesn't necessarily mean it's something: they're going to create. Given the popularity of the predecessor and the amount of time that Samsung have spent perfecting their inward folding hinge, then I would expect the Galaxy Z fold 3 to have a similar design to its predecessor. But, of course, as Ross young stated, it will have a slightly smaller display for the new s pen support next up. We've also got news that next year we could see another w22 foldable phone again. This comes from Ross young and if it happens, it's essentially going to be the Galaxy Z fold, 3 ultra.

As always, though, with the w range it would be in very limited qualities and have a very high price tag to go with it. Next up, we've got news of the first gorilla glass for folding phones. Now, according to the elect corning, is launching its own glass protection for folding phones and does aim to supply Samsung they're at the final stages of development and mass production is set to begin in 2021. But currently it's looking like, regardless of progress, it's not going to be in the z fold.3. there's also news that Samsung are planning to build their own supply chain by procuring glass substrates made by corning, but improvement in the industry with more people supplying different parts.

Just increases competition in the foldable devices, and it will hopefully be another step to reducing the cost of the handsets. But my advice for now is to ignore the triple folding leaks as they're based on a patent and not prototypes of the fold. Three, it doesn't mean it's not happening, but I'm going to be very skeptical until we see some solid evidence, the Galaxy Z fold 3 launch is expected to be in August, though we do have a little of an idea when it comes to specs, so we're going going to run through all of that. Now. For my regular viewers, you guys would have already seen this so just jump onto the next video.

But if you are new here, then don't forget to hit subscribe, and we're going to get right into it. The inner display is likely to remain a similar size. Considering we've already got trimmed down bezels. We can expect a 7.6 inch, dynamic, AMOLED display with a resolution of 1768 by 2208, and this will have a 120hz refresh rate. The front screen is likely to remain the same as well, which is a 6.2 inch. Super AMOLED with a resolution of 2260x816.

The biggest change here is, of course, can be the screen protection with 60 micrometer ultra-thin glass that not only helps with the durability but should also provide a nicer touch experience for the user when it comes to the selfie camera. We've got no information, yet many reports and rumors are hinting at the first in display selfie camera, but we've got no idea what sensor or lens Samsung are using for this on the rear. It's likely to be a triple or a quad camera setup. Now Samsung tend to keep things similar across their range, so I would expect the new camera module that we're seeing in the s range to be present, and it's likely that they'll be using the similar 12 megapixel sensors. Instead of going with the 108 megapixel hm2 when it comes to ram and storage, Samsung tend to push things high with the fold models.

So I would estimate the galaxy z4 3 to have 16 gigs of ddr5 ram, and this will be coupled with 128, 256 or 512 storage. It's most likely going to be powered by the snapdragon 875 plus and the Enos equivalent, whatever they decide to name it, and there are rumors of a 5 000 William hour battery. But personally I don't see that happening they're likely to remain at a similar size. So, with improvements of space internally in new tech, I would estimate a minor increase, so maybe something like 4 600 William hours. It will, of course, ship with one UI three based on android, 11 and being so early on.

Color variants just cannot be confirmed. It will probably have as much water protection as they can, but we're unlikely to see any official IP ratings due to It's difficult to waterproof design, we're expecting an august launch and if things carry on as normal when it comes to the pricing, we of course know it's going to be a lot, so we can expect between two thousand and two thousand one hundred dollars if we see the usual price increment now, of course, a lot of this is just sensible estimates on top of the leaks we have because we're so far away from launch, but I'll be keeping you guys up to date as any new news comes in. As always, though, I would like to know your thoughts in the comments who out there is waiting for the Samsung Galaxy z, fold 3, and do you think it's going to be a single fold or a double fold, but thanks for watching the video, if you liked it smash the thumbs up, if you didn't hit the thumbs down twice, and I'll, see you guys in the next one, so you.
