Xiaomi Mi 11 Full REVIEW - Flagship Specs, Awesome Price! By EMKWAN REVIEWS

Whoa, this new smartphone in my hands is the brand new Xiaomi mi 11 5g I've been using this and in this video I want to give you a closer look at this brand new, exciting smartphone, from the guys at Xiaomi here on mk1 reviews. So the Xiaomi mi 11 has been positioned by the brand as a premium offering which brings plenty of upgrades over its predecessor, the mi 10. The first place, you'll notice. This is the design, so the mi 11 is long and thin, but despite its size, it's fairly comfortable to hold and use one-handed. It's a whole 12 grams lighter and 0.9 millimeters thinner than the previous generation, and the 11 has got a premium, look and feel thanks to the aluminum frame and glass, both on the back and also the front with corning gorilla glass Vitus on the display to help with durability. Now the phone features a quad curve design to enhance that premium, look and feel the curved display design can have issues with unintentional touches, but Xiaomi have also included a sensor to help prevent this, and for the most part, it's worked quite well.

For me, it's available in beautiful colors, including this midnight gray, which is what I've been using and at the bottom. The phone has an USB c port, there's no three and a half millimeter headphone jack, so that might upset some. But it does have an excellent pair of dual speakers that are tuned by Harman Kardon. There is a power button and a volume rocker on the right side and if you still use the IR blaster, then there's one at the top for your convenience. So on the front is a stunning wide quad high definition display featuring a pixel packed 515 PPI, it's one of the most detailed displays that also supports HDR 10 and has great peak brightness of nits, which is quite necessary for the bright sun that we get here in the Middle East.

Now the display is a 6.81 inch, AMOLED display. It's got an impressive check, there's 480 hertz of touch sampling for extremely accurate sensitivity and then 120 hertz adaptive sync to help with better battery savings. Now I, like the display a lot of everything from gaming to media. To you know, basic swiping through felt, smooth and fast on the display, though maxing out those display features, does have a downside which I'll discuss later on in this video. There is also an optical fingerprint scanner, which is reasonably fast under the display, though, for me personally, I chose the face unlock because I found that to be faster.

The mi 11 is packing the snapdragon 888 chipsets and that's paired up with either 8 or 12 gigabytes of ram and then storage to match be aware: there's no option to upgrade the storage. Now, as far as multitasking graphic intensive. You know, the phone performed very well, and I think that's part down to the snappy experience that you get with the chipset, but also the high-tech sampling rate. Now, a lot of you do ask me about heat, particularly during gaming, and I did notice that, for prolonged periods of time, so graphic intensive games like asphalt 9 with about 20 minutes worth of playing time. The phone does get warm slightly, nothing that would disrupt the gaming.

However, but it's certainly there. The snapdragon 888 chipsets also supports 5g, which is still patchy. On the island that I'm living on, but once 5g signal was there, the speeds were pretty much as I expected now. The mi 11 runs google's android, 11 oses and also its own mini 12, which is the software that's laid over the top now, thankfully, there's less bloatware that we've seen in the past, but there are plenty of customization options that are available. If that's your thing, there are a few live, wallpapers menu transition effects, various always on display designs and changes to the quick settings menus and more now, when it comes to the camera, the experience on m11 is really refined to be an overall better experience than the previous me 10.

So there's that main camera, which is 108, megapixel, f 1.9. It also features a custom, is module and the second camera is a 13 megapixel, f 2.4 for the ultra-wide and the third is a 5, megapixel, f 2.4 for something that's called a tell macro camera more on that in a moment now, the images taken with the main camera have good contrast and dynamic range. It's slightly lighter on the tone too, which is something that I noticed, but this might be related to the improved AI optimization on this device. The ultra-wide images are brighter too, but you know if you compare images taken with the main lens, with the ultra-wide. The photos have this lower resolution, and they don't have the sharpness and contrast that you're going to get with the main camera now the mi 11 does support zoom up to 30x, but, as you can see from these examples, anything after around 10x really lacks that clarity and detail.

I mean here's an image taken with the 108 megapixel camera itself, no pixel binning, and you know you'll notice that there's plenty of details in the shot so low light images are also good, particularly at one x, with plenty of light. There's contrast and details there as well, but you start to notice more noise at the more that you zoom in now the tell macro camera was interesting. It takes some nice shots and works by getting you close shots. You know, without the entire smartphone, essentially blocking all the natural light with the phone itself. I've said this before, but I'm not a big fan of the macro lenses and I don't think they are.

You know particularly useful day-to-day for those of you that do like this lens. I think you'll be happy with the results. Portrait shots both of humans and inanimate objects come out quite nicely with the AI optimization doing a good job, particularly around the edges and the front selfie 20 megapixel camera does take some decent shots, despite the slightly washed out look with colors. Now when it comes to video, the 11 does a good job overall. In the keynote event, Xiaomi highlighted multiple video modes, including one click, AI cinema, cinematic filters and also support for HDR, 10 plus filming.

Now, here's a look at ultrawide at 30 frames per second, and you can see that it does a pretty good job and 4k at 60 frames per second with the 1x camera or the main camera you'll notice again how the main sensor, I think overall, has better details and there's a level of refinement in terms of color and contrast, but also with the range. So this is the test of 8k at 30 frames per second, it's also available in 8k at 24 frames per second on the 11. Um. In my testing, I found that the 8k on the me11 actually is pretty decent, does a very good job, particularly when you compare it with some other smartphones that have a k. Let me know what you think about the audio and the video quality in the comments down below now in low light, video quality does suffer with the noise and the grainy.

Look that you typically get with low light video, but the mi 11 does a good job still with bumping up the brightness and the details, which is still quite impressive. So when it comes to battery life, the mi 11 features a 4 600 William hour battery, and I was expecting to have kind of a full day's worth of use. But with the display max stop, including you know, the high refresh rate, who, plus and always on display battery life is uh. You know it's going to take a hit. The 11 does have a 55 watt, wired and 50 watt wireless charging.

So you know it's getting about naught to about a hundred percent for me, taking around 35 to 40 minutes, which is still pretty good. There is reverse wireless charging too, but the phone does get noticeably hot, particularly if you're going to be using that for prolonged periods of time. I think for me this is probably the only area which I would have seen like to see an improvement on, perhaps a larger battery just to get the most out of the smartphone during the day. Look in summary, Xiaomi have done it again. The mi 11 has these really great specs that really rival some of the more expensive flagships around.
