iPhone SE (2020) Vs iPhone XS! (Comparison) (Review)

Welcome back everyone, we're gonna, be doing another iPhone SE 20/20 comparison, we're going to be comparing it to a phone that, you might not think is super related or super even relative to it, but it actually kind of is in some ways not all the ways. The very first thing, though, I have to, say I'm still giving away my iPhone SE 20/20 and another one I have a red one I'm, giving away in an order. Tensor. All you guys have to do is subscribe to the channel and follow me on Twitter and Instagram I'll be picking the winner on May, 8th, which it should be a Friday, so not next Friday, but the Friday after, so I'll announce the winners on Twitter and Instagram. I've always changes so much but yeah. That's the quick plug! Now.

Here's the thing: okay, the iPhone SC 2020, is costing about the 399. It really hasn't gone down in value, yet obviously, but here's the thing the iPhone 10s on Amazon is selling for about four hundred and sixty dollars. So there's about a sixty dollar difference between these, you could probably find it even cheaper iPhone 10s. Maybe another you know eBay or something like that, but if you want to pick up either these phones I'll link them down in the description below for the cheapest prices, I find on Amazon I, don't know if there's an iPhone SE 2 available yet, but the iPhone 10s I'll leave a link down for that price. So, looking on the front of both phones start off with the iPhone 10s, we have a five-point, eight inches super retina OLED display it's 11, 25 or 24 36, and I'm.

Like I've stated before it's an amazing panel. You know there's really nothing to hate on it. Apple really knocks it out of the park with these sets of panels, and you know they're more so the same with the 11pro. You know, there's really not that big of a difference. About being honest, you still have true tone.

You have force touch on the iPhone 10 s, which is really, really impressive, and that's something that you can't fault the 10s. You know and other phones for not happy. Furthermore, you know you have for such on this, but also, if you don't have for such I, think it's ok to you still have haptic feedback, which is perfectly fine for a lot of people on the iPhone SE 20/20, though we have a 4.7 inch, retina IPS panel, it's an LCD panel which is okay for the most part, but definitely the OLED panel is much, much better in my opinion and that resolution on that panel is 750 by 13:34 and definitely at the end of the day, you're going to be getting a better panel on the iPhone 10s, but still I. Think it's a pretty good panel for the iPhone SE too. Furthermore, you have to remember that when the iPhone 10s came out, it was that thousand-dollar phone.

Furthermore, you know that phone that everybody was buying or wanting to buy because was the most expensive iPhone or one of the most expensive with the iPhone SE ? it's one of the cheapest iPhones, so you can't really fall to one or the other for not having certain features, because at the time of the release, they were, you know, kind of going for two different demographics, but definitely the iPhone 10s is holding up better in terms of the display they both have lightning ports on the bottom, no headphone jacks on the either of these phones on the back they're kind of similar in some way, so they have glass packs. Obviously the iPhone SE 2 has a single camera setup with the iPhone 10 S has a dual camera setup, so you know you have a little of difference right there, and even though you're still having a better camera setup, in my opinion, on the iPhone 10s and on the iPhone SE, 2 both have wireless charging, which is really cool. The Apple logo on the iPhone SE 20/20 is in the center, which is really cool. The iPhone 10 s is up top, but most the time you're going to have a case on it. So it's really not that big of a deal I'm coming back to the front real quick.

You can see that, obviously we have the notch on the iPhone 10 s, and we have you know quite a bit of bezel on the iPhone SE -. Is it a big deal? Maybe not it's really up to you? Obviously, the iPhone SE ? is that older design, the iPhone 10s, has a newer type of design. So it's really up to you, whatever you want to make for it, but at the end of the day for sure the iPhone 10s, is it a better looking phone now you do have a little of difference in the IP certification as well dad phone SE ? has IP 67 dust and water resistance, the iPhone 10 s has IP 68 dust and water resistance. So a little of difference right there again, not the end of the world, but something to consider so that kind of covers it up in front of the outside I. Think you guys kind of have a good gist of basically the outside of the phones now hitting on this software.

The iPhone 10s was really smooth, I was 12 and the iPhone SE 2 was released with iOS 13. So realistically here's the thing, the iPhone SE 2020 is probably going to outlast the iPhone 10s in terms of software, and that mostly has to do with the chipset. The iPhone SE 2 has a newer chipset. Then the iPhone 10s, but realistically you know anything can happen. The iPhone 10s can also get an extra version of software here and there maybe the iPhone SE 2 gets an extra software.

Who knows we really don't know yet, but if I had to say it, maybe the iPhone 10s. You know it's going to last a year less than the iPhone SE 2, but we're talking about years from now. You know it's not going to happen tomorrow. It's not going to happen next year. It's going to be multiple years from now, so, whether you get the iPhone, 10s or iPhone, SE 2 and both of these phones are going to be lasting, at least like three or four more years.

Maybe three, if we're realistically, but they're, going to be lasting for a very long period of time, we're going to be getting tons of phones in between then so for sure. At the end of the day, the iPhone SE 2 is probably going to outlast the iPhone 10s in terms of software, but that doesn't mean the iPhone 10s is going to be unsupported tomorrow either. So in terms of software that pretty much covers it now hitting on the performance side of things. Now, a slightly the specs I did do a speed test, but I'll be doing a separate speed test like a full-on comparison between both of these I was doing one for the speed and also as the camera to, so I did a quick one here, so you guys can kind of get a know decent idea, but again within like a next week or two I'll do of all speed tests between these. Now the iPhone 10s had the appellate, while Bionic chip, X or CPU, and three different models with four gigs of RAM or the iPhone.

Se 20/20 has the Apple a 13 PI Nanak chip, X core CPU and three different models, but with three gigs of ram. So you have a gig or less in a newer phone which is a little weird. That's the end of the world doe. So let's go ahead and show you that comparison right now, alright, everyone, let's go and do the speed test. Now the iPhone 10 s is on the right iPhone.

Se 20/20 is on the left. So all the apps are cleared out and the background, as you guys can see. So, let's start loading these apps up, so the App Store three-two-one and you guys can probably sell that the iPhone SE 2020 was the last one to load that one up and scrolling speed wise, not a huge difference, I think at first the iPhone 10. That seems to be a little smoother, but I think they kind of smooth it out. Since then said about the same phone three-two-one, but the same Safari.

Let's go and load up Apple comm and see what happens three. Two one and iPhone SE 2020 was able to load into Safari faster, as you can see scrolling through about the same as well, not a gigantic difference between both, but they're. About the same so now, let's start looking at these third-party apps, let's do Twitter three two one and, as you can see, iPhone SE 2020 is the faster one. There Facebook three two one you can see. It was almost instantaneous on the iPhone SE 2020 ? 10 s was so lightly.

You know a little behind dual jump: 3 2 1 and you can see again iPhone SE 2020 slightly faster to load up that specific portion with the app through ninja 3, 2 1, and you can see again iPhone SE 2020 is slightly faster than the iPhone 10s for sure that one was pretty surprising, I'm expecting the iPhone tennis to do a little better. But honestly, a little behind every time stack three to one and again, ? I see 20/20 slightly ahead, just pretty surprising, in my opinion, snake versus blocks through to one and iPhone SE 2020 as faster. Yet again, let's go in Lotus in the game and I. Don't think you'll notice that big we definitely both of them they're, both almost exactly the same when it comes down to it. Lets you take you three to one.

You can see. I finessed fast yet again, soon: Netflix 3, 2, 1 and yeah iPhone, SE 2020s faster, yet again, Quizlet 3, 2, 1, ?, Essie, ?, faster, yet again, Temple Run, 2, 3, 2 1, you and you guys can see again, iPhone SE faster one. That was a pretty big difference. My opinion, let's do SoundCloud three two ones. Oh, it's about the same.

To be honest, Instagram three, two one yeah they're, both about the same there ? hey, Brad, ?, three, two one and again iPhone SE.2020 is the faster one. There Snapchat 30 to 1 again ? I, see ? lets, go and end it off with Temple Run 3, 2 1, actually wandered off with the releasing three won't end it off. With that and again even to get into this specific panel, iPhone I say: 2020 was faster and a little smoother. Now, let's enter it off with Real Racing 3, 3, 2 1, and you can see iPhone SE 2 is looking to be a little faster, but we might get into a different segment of the game on the iPhone 10s, but even into loaded -. That was faster on the iPhone SE ?, so loading on the iPhones and as for some reason- and this is a pretty big difference for some reason- the iPhone SE 2 for these heavier intensive games are able to load into these things faster than the iPhones on us and a lot of others, the phones that I tested too.

So for sure. At the end of the day, what I'll tell you, the iPhone SE ? I think is faster than the iPhone 10s for sure. Even though the iPhone 10s has a better build quality, things like that, the iPhone 10 is deadly in terms of speed. I think can handle its own now in terms of RAM management. When what I said in the phone test, because this has an extra kick of RAM- what we will test that when the time comes, so that's really pretty much it, let's go back to the rest of the comparison guys that was the best comparison I've ever seen now, hitting on the cameras, just like I said, with a speed test, I'll be doing a separate camera test.

So this is gonna, be quick one, but a full camera test will be coming soon. You'll be single 12, megapixel camera on the iPhone SE 2, but a dual camera setup on the iPhone 10 s. All these sensors are 12 megapixels on both phones, you have oh, is on both phones is so on both sensors on the iPhone 10 s. You can do 4k it 60, which is really cool. You have portrait mode on both phones as well, but, like I, said before the more camera setups you have the better.

Furthermore, you are kind of in the long run, so I would probably sign it with the iPhone SS camera here. I think it truly is the better camera setup. The other thing to note, though, with that front camera you have seven megapixel cameras on both, but apparently you can do 1080p at 60 frames on the 10s, but you can only do 1080p at 30 frames on the iPhone SE 2 is at the end of the world, probably not, but again it's just one of those things you have to consider. So in terms of the camera standpoint, I'll probably end up setting with the iPhone 10s over the iPhone SE 2, but the iPhone SE 2's camera is still very good. At my opinion, I'm winding it off with the battery life, the iPhone SE 2 has a 1821 million power battery the iPhone 10 s has a 2658 million, but her battery, and even though the iPhone 10 has battery life, isn't even that great, the iPhone SE twos battery life is going to be a little worse than the iPhone 10 Asus.

Now, in my case, all my phones are probably at like a hundred percent battery health, even though I don't really take crazy good care of my phones, I, don't really use them that much I just make them to make these videos with. So what I can tell you is that my tennis is still at I think around that hundred percent battery health, so you're going to the beginning, I think better battery life on the iPhone 10 s, but it's not going to be by like a crazy amount. I think it's maybe going to be slightly better, but I, don't think it's something where you're going. You know just upgrade to the tenants because of the battery life, even though I might have better battery life. How long run so in terms of battery I'll, probably side with the iPhone 10s under some up the video answer, the question: should you pick up the 10s? Should you keep the 10s? Should you get that c2, whatever I'll tell you if it's a tween both of these obviously I think you should pick up an iPhone 10s that one is probably the better phone it'll help? You in the long run it'll offer more value.

You have anywhere design. The OLED screen is beautiful, but the iPhone SE to just have that newer chipset, and it might help you out in the long run by getting this software support, and it's still a little cheaper than the iPhone 10s. So it is what it is not the end of the world, but you know both phones still have a lot of value, but I would probably side with the iPhone 10s for a majority of people. So that really pretty much covers that. If you guys have any questions or anything.
