Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite 5G - Unboxing and First Impressions

What's up guys not a newbie I, take a look at these yummy meat n light. This is Johnny's Laura and phone for the meat n series. That's just launched recently internationally, and today we're taking a look at it, big shout-out, to Jamie for sending one out for a review. Like always all opinions are my own. Now this isn't a review. This is by no means a review.

This is my 24-hour impressions with the phone, so I've been using for a little more than 24 hours, but we're still doing a 24-hour impressions with the device. So first, let's take a look at what comes in the box when you get the device okay. So now, let's take a look at the phone. This is the Xiaomi me.10. Light has been first seen when you turn on the phone.

You do have this nice big bright, six point: five, seven inches, AMOLED display, and you're gonna really like this display actually gets very bright, and it gets. You know the colors look good everything looks guns. Supply wish one of the big things about like lower end phones. This phone guys come in their round $400 or so when you convert it right and the big thing with slow run phones is that the displays aren't always good. This is a flat display.

I love curved displays. I really need two curved display on the TCL 10 Pro, which also came in at like 450 bucks, but a lot of people don't like curved displays and well. This display isn't curved for those people who don't like the curved displays. It does have a gorilla glass file on the front, which is also very good, and it is a 1080 by 2400 pixel display so very bright, very sharp there right. So we got the display, it looks very good.

I've been liking. This blowing one of my favorite parts of the phone again like I, said most displays on budget phones, aren't always great, so I could see a great display on a lower cost. So, and this is an AMOLED display, so you know everything you expect from a lot of display should get from this device. So taking a look at the design on the device which a lot of people like to talk about and ask about right, it does have a fairly good design with the one downside. That's not necessarily a downside, depending on how you look at it.

We're talking about plastic here right, it's the back is plastic. The frame is also I pulled. You plastic. Has that plastic feel, so I'm going to assume it's plastic well, but the design actually looks perfect. You get this nice black finish, which looks pretty awesome.

Do get fingerprints. It is a glossy back, so you do get fingerprints. The cameras are in a square camera pattern that we're seeing much more frequently. Now, of course, we first saw this kind of like a square camera array on the meet 20. Pro II do see a somewhat similar arrangement and that's kind of where we first start seeing that likes to wear pattern on phones and, of course, they've only become more pop in the past year, and we're seeing a lot more of them.

It doesn't look bad. Some people are gonna, take a while to get used to it because it is a very different design, but it's not bad guys. Shouldn't hate it, so the overall design is pretty sturdy on this device. I've been using it in its included silicon case that you get with all the phones that are at this price point: international phones, not in the US. You know see many of these, so this is the phone like I just said, everything is great with the software so far like no bloatware for the most part, you know, of course you get some pre-installed Xiaomi apps on the phone, but not much bullet where to begin with on the device, which is good, of course, to unlock.

So you don't expect much like carrier blow air on the device other than some bloatware from the manufacturers. Sometimes manufacturers put a lot of bloatware. Of course there is a lot of different apps from the manufacturer, including some apps that are not like actually from the manufacturer, but we all know yeah me sometimes will lower the price of phones with advertisements and apps. So, let's do really surprised us too much that it is there. It's like I, said I've been using this phone for approximately touring for a little more than 24 hours, and I've liked it so far, more stuff that you get on this phone is the USB type-c.

So that's pretty standard at this point with any phone, some budget phones will still include micro, but it is this is standard with a phone you get the mono speaker down there, I believe you can do stereo on this phone. I've touched that yet with the speaker up here, you get your headphone jack, always nice plus and a blaster. Alright, that's not our blaster yeah, our blaster I know I read about having an IR blaster, so just make sure it's up here, an IR blaster, so you can connect your TV or anything that really used in the IR remote, sometimes like air, conditioning and stuff use them as well, and you can kindly use that with anything that using the IR remote. So you can kind of forget about your remote or control it with your phone. Even if you don't have your audio does have an in displacement sensor under the display, so you're good on that front and is fast enough.

It's not superfast, like the fastest I've, seen, ok so fast as I've seen, but it is fast enough for daily use. I like it, it works great. Take a look at the cameras. I do have a few picture samples. They are fairly good.

They do saturate stuff a little like this green plant over here is a little more green in the photos that I take on this phone. But the cameras are all for the cheaper price package. They look good. So in total the camera is pretty good. You do get a 40 megapixel camera option for higher light photos right.

So, if you're, in better light, you can use the 48 megapixel option to get much sharper photo then with other phones that don't have the option right. A lot of phones do at this point, especially in the international market, all the phones to have a higher megapixel option, but you do have to have a lower, but you do have to have a higher light situation to take advantage of it. So all in all the camera is not bad all those from the photo samples up right here so guys and take a look at some of the photos I've taken video is, you know pretty average for video. It's not terrible. What's not super awesome, it works.

It works, it works. So let's talk about some other things about this phone that I have liked and some complaints that I do have. So it is running Android 10 with the UI skin, the only UI 11 on here right, not a big deal in my opinion, I, don't hate four different versions of Android I, don't hate different operating systems at all actually does take some time to kind of get used to them and how this company takes the idea of what they want to do. Instead of you know other companies, but once you get used to them, when you jump between different phones right once you're used to them, you don't really hate any different versions. There's little things that you might not agree with companies doing on their version of Android, but there's always something that you don't like on any manufacturers version of Android.

This has always been well I've, at least thought of phones that have different versions of Android right. Some people really don't like a mean UI 11 me UI in general, but I don't see a problem with it personally, but again, maybe you're, not the one who likes it. So this phone does have 64 gigabytes of RAM. Please forgive ice of ROM storage, just forgive us storage and 60 bytes of RAM cigarettes. Ram is pretty generally standard for a foam on android film, specifically, it's not like super high like eight or twelve acquits around, but it's not bad, and you're.

Going to have fun runs perfectly fine with that. But when I am this point about one, this is 64 gigabytes of storage for general storage and memory and no expandable SD card slot. It's not rare to not have an expandable SD card slot. In fact, a lot of phones now don't have an expandable SD card slot, but the 16 gigabytes of storage is kind of low. In my opinion, I would love to see a hundredweight with storage.

On this thing, the TCL 10 pro has I'm trying gigabyte, storage and I kind of think that, like 128 GB, a very minimal standard, not all flagships have 120 at this point, and mostly I'm looking at Apple with iPhones, they don't put 128 on their phones for some reason, but I wish this phone did have.128 64 could be fine and for many people might be fine. Personally, though, its 128 in life would have been the way to go. So if you do want 128, you can upgrade to the 128 or 256 gear by option. Oh man, the 256 degree option seems I guy eat get bytes of RAM, which is nice if you want that RAM increase. So this also has a 40 160 million power battery right it pretty large battery.

It's not you know, 4500 or what nice is at the lower end. If you're talking about flagship- but this is this easy budget phone- this is not a bad battery and this should get you at least one whole day of usage. That would be standard for me, I'm using as a secondary film, because it is a GSM model and I used rise, and I'm using secondary phone, and it's lasted me easily over one day, but for someone who's using it along their carrier and constantly using it connected to a network. They might not see that you know over a day you see to a day's worth of usage with this device, so all in all, within the 24 hour or so period that I've been using this device I've liked it for the price point a lot of people when they review phones that are in this price point or in that and price point a lot of people like to forget if they are in that lower end price point and highly criticized them and compare them to fly ships, so I, don't like comparing lower end phones to flagship phones are very often because of that guys. This way, I'll leave this video off this.

Like I just said is my first impressions and unboxing of the Xiaomi me 10, light click that subscribe button in the Bell notification icon to get notified when I do release the full review of this yummy meat and light after like a week or so maybe a little more than a week of usage of the phone. So I can tell you a little more in depth and everything else about the phone and can do a final verb or whether you should buy this device or you should wait out or buy a different device. Guy thanks for watching, see you guys next time.
