What is going on YouTube. It's Charles from now on tech, and today we've got another budget smartphone review, but this time it's a 5g budget, smartphone from me. It's the 10 lite 5g. Now this can be a direct competitor to the OnePlus word, which we reviewed previously, which we thought was an incredible phone and I most loved budget smartphone. So let's see what this can do, this does sit about a hundred dollars cheaper than an OnePlus word, so we're gonna, review and box it and do the usual thing, but before we get to review and unboxing make sure you subscribe and tap that notification bell and smash that like button, so let's get to unboxing foreign. So with the 10 light now set up, that's how we've set up to get into it.

So it's you can use fingerprint unlock, which is ultrasonic, or you can use face, pin passwords patterns whatever you prefer, there are multiple options, so you're greeted with a 6.5 inch, FHD, plus AMOLED display powered by a 765g snapdragon processor. In this particular version, we've got six gigabytes, ram and 64 gigabytes of storage and then a 4 160 William hour battery now in terms of structure, we've actually laid this out in a classic style. You can use an infinite scrolling, or you can use classic we've gone classic because effectively simplifies everything. So your main screen is here. So now you slide across you get your next screen very reminiscent of iOS and iPhones.

In keeping with that theme, when you swipe down you again get what effectively looks like a control center, so you get the highest brightness and then your various toggles for your very switches, etc. So, quick dive into settings. So this is a 60 hertz display, not 90 hertz as well, just to make it clear. So this isn't on comparison screen technology wise to the OnePlus note, but it does sit quite a lot cheaper and the UI is very clean, very simple, its white background, and then you get color icons on the side, and it actually does make a quite pleasant experience. Now we wanted to show you what things like video output and sound output look like.

So, let's pop on the video and see what that gets us what's up YouTube. It's chat from now on tech, and today's video is all about the pixel 5 and the funny thing here is: this is not a rumor. We have confirmation from Google themselves, but the detail comes snapdragon 765g, so this will be the first 5g pixel device, so sound output is very nice and clear, actually and incredibly detailed for something that costs 250 dollars roughly around that number again screen. Quality is good because you are getting an AMOLED display, and it's really bright and vibrant okay you're not going to get the best screen to body ratio, so you do get the thicker bezels along the side, and you get that chin at the bottom as well. But that's not a big deal, let's flip to the back of the phone.

So let's click this off and let's talk about those quad cameras, so these are AI powered with the main lens being 48 megapixels. So let's take this out on the road and see what these quad cameras can do for you with some samples. So, let's give you our final wrap-up thoughts on the 10 lite 5g, so this is a device that actually we've been trying to get hold of for quite a while, because it's its fascinating. This costs 249 British pounds roughly the same in us dollars, give or take a few pounds here and there. Now there are a few things that it does lack.

So you can't get a larger ram option. It doesn't have a high refresh rate as the OnePlus note, but if you were to do a spec by spec comparison, it's not much difference. So the OnePlus note in the highest specs around 450 pounds 450. This is 200 less roughly now would I sacrifice 90 hertz and the ability to have less ram for 200? Yes, I would so for 250. This is an incredible device.

It's actually ridiculous that this even exists, so current performance build feel everything about the device. Yes, you don't get a big screen to body ratio, but everything else feels really, really good, really high-end. This is the device that we would definitely consider if you're within the market, you're constrained budget wise, you don't want to spend five six, seven eight hundred pounds and really there's no need to for much anything. Really. I don't see why you'd spend five six hundred dollars on the new phone, so this is why we're focusing a lot of our attention on the budget smartphone area because of devices like this, the OnePlus note and others we've reviewed.
