It is going to cause much confusion because the company has already launched different model with the same name earlier in China. The design of the new VIVO s1 pro is quite similar to VIVO s5 smartphone, but both has different hardware and specifications talking about the specifications. The new VIVO s1 pro features a 6.38 inch super AMOLED display, with full HD plus resolution and 90 screens to body ratio. The smartphone also features an in-display fingerprint sensor for authentication under the hood. The phone comes powered by Qualcomm snapdragon 665 chipsets, which is weaker than the original VIVO s1 pro smartphone, that comes with snapdragon 675 chipsets in terms of storage, the phone packs, with 8 gigabytes of ram and 128 gigabytes of in-built storage that can also be expandable up to 256 GB via micros card slot.

As per the camera, the new VIVO s1 pro comes equipped by quad camera setup, including led flash on the rear in diamond shape, module similar to VIVO s5 smartphone. The quad cameras of the phone includes 48 megapixel main camera, with f 1.8, aperture, plus 8 megapixels, ultra-wide angle lens, with f 2.2, aperture plus 2 megapixel micro camera, with f 2.4 aperture and a 2 megapixel depth sensor with f 2.4 aperture for selfies. The company has included 32 megapixel camera at the front, with f 2.0 aperture. On the software front, the handset runs on android 9 pi, based on one touch: OS 9.2 skin. On top the device comes backed by 4500 MH of battery with 18 watts, fast charging support through USB type-c port.

The connectivity option on the phone includes dual-band: Wi-Fi 4g, Bluetooth, 5.0 GPS and a 3.5 mph audio jack, the physical dimensions of the smartphone measures at 159.25 by 75.19 by 8.68, millimeters and weights around 186.7 grams. Now, talking about the pricing and availability, the new VIVO s1 pro has been priced in Philippians at 16 000, Philippine peso, which roughly translates to 22 500, Indian rupees or 315 us dollars.
