Unboxing the Google Pixel 3 (Switching from an iPhone 6)

You guys my Google Pixel 3, it's. Finally, here it's guy set it down. Now, if you remember my last two tech videos, unboxing the Google Pixel to excel and then re boxing it because I returned it, but that was back in January and for the past year I've still been using my iPhone 6, and it's getting worse day by day, but all that changes today, people because we have in front of us the Google Pixel 3. So your first question might be: why did you get a pistol? Why did you switch from Apple to Google? Most of you should probably know this right now, but Apple rolled out a software update that slowed down and everyone's iPhones, and when people found out about this, they kind of backtracked and said like. Oh, you know, we do it to help, you preserve the battery boom, and then they had the audacity to charge people to get a new battery for 30 bucks, I, always over here thinking. How about you pay us 30 bucks for going through the hassle.

I just feel like I need something different. That's why I went with a Google Pixel and now your next question might be. Why did you get the Google Pixel 3 and not the 3, XL? Well, I! Think it's pretty obvious. It's the notch and just look at it all I can see is a face. If this isn't what you see when you look at that notch, then you were lying, sir lying and your last question might be Brian.

Why did you wait till now to buy it? It was announced back on October 6th. It's been like more than two months, but even after was announced in released, I still held off, I wanted to see what software or hardware problems would come up so I, just let other people buy it first, and it's a good thing. I waited because over Thanksgiving in Black Friday weekend, the prices on these phones dropped significantly. The pixel 3 dropped, 150 bucks and then the pixel 3 XL dropped 200 bucks and after a price drop like that, I thought it's a no-brainer. Let's take ?, take it off, take it off, it looks beautiful, but for now you know what let's just set it aside: let's go through what else in the box instructions.

No one cares about that. So, let's talk about how this phone looks. You can notice that the speakers are front-facing, so you can see on the left side of this phone that there's absolutely nothing, but on the right side, there's the volume buttons and also the mint-green power button, I'm not sold yet on the mint-green I. Don't know it just doesn't speak to me: I, don't like pas telly colors, there's no headphone jack, which is okay, I guess I mean we're. All going to have to eventually go wireless turn it over to the back.

I'm going to have to get used to this fingerprint sensor being right. There I'm so not used to that I'm used to it being always on the front bottom here and, as you can see, I got the white version I, just like white phones. You give me a choice of any phone. I'll, probably always go with the white just because it's neutral and clean I never thought about getting the black one and the pink one I just, and you can see it's an all glass back with this part being more of a frosty finish and there's a huge controversy going around, because people are saying that this scratches very easily. People are saying: I put my phone in the same pocket as my keys, and it got scratched well duh.

It got scratched. You even hear yourself, you put it in the same pocket as your keys. If you also be like I drop, my phone made a glass, and it shattered. Okay use lunch glass shatters when you drop it. So that's why I ordered the Google case.

It's not my first choice, but you know it looks better than all the other crap that they have on Amazon. It's made of fabric, which will be very comfortable to hold, but I feel like any time. I leave it on a surface with a bunch of dust or dirt. It's just going to pick it all up, and I do like how the interior is the same. Mint green as the power button- that's kind of nice, even though, when I put the case on, and I'm going to see it.

So you know what does it matter? I was almost going to get the pixel stand, but after thinking about it, a little I just saw like it looks kind of flimsy. If I were to put my hand on that white part and I just apply a little of pressure. That whole thing would just snap off and also I. Don't like the idea of propping up my phone to just look at me all the time it's 2018 there's so many news stories about privacy issues and stuff I. Just don't feel comfortable with that.

Some of you might think that I'm just being paranoid but I, don't think it's paranoid when I check, Instagram and there's an ad for something I was talking about literally five minutes ago. I know you're listening, you're going to want to subscribe, because in two weeks I am going to post a review of this phone when I try everything I'm gonna, try the camera, I'm gonna check out top shot. I'm gonna check out night sight. The wide-angle selfie mode subscribe like comment. What do you think the phone? Is it cool, you're going to get it if you already have it, but thank you so much for watching this.

Unboxing and I will see you in the next video bye, bye.
