Should you buy a Chromebook??? | Check This Out: Acer Chromebook 15 Review

Hi guys this is all and welcome back to another video check this out. It's the Acer Chromebook 15, for those of you who aren't familiar with it. Chromebooks are lockbox but of a different kind. They're designed to be used primarily while connected to the internet with most of the files and applications are stored in the cloud they don't run on Windows 10, our macOS, but robots run Google's, Chrome OS instead, so now, let's get on with to decide. The Chromebook 15 just looks like your regular laptop nothing fancy here. It has an aluminum housing with a search logo and a chrome icon on it.

Its 15.6 inch display is surrounded by a thick bezel. You get the classic chicle style keyboard and on its sides you can find the speakers and then below. It is the trackpad which I find clunky and imprecise when you click on it. But hey it's a $300 machine. So it's not that bad at 4.2 pounds, which is almost 2 kilograms. The Easter Chromebook 15 is significantly heavier than the MacBook Air, which only weighs 2 point 75 pounds.

The Chromebook doesn't have that many ports, but it has everything you need to get you through your daily work and assignments. Each side has the USB type-c port and a USB 3.0 port. You also get a Kensington lock slot and a micros slot on your right side. Well, you can find HDMI and headphone jack on the left side. Now, let me go back on the display.

Its 15.6 inch display at 1080p could potentially close the deal for most of you guys, but it's a no for me. I would say that it's not really meant for media consumption. The screen colors are so dull and can be easily overpowered by environmental light. I find myself tapping the brightness button only to find out it's already on its max setting, and the reason for that is a source. Chromebook can only cover 69% of the RGB color gamut, far less than the average of 79 percent.

The audio sounds okay, nothing spectacular, though it may sound a bit muddled when you are not directly in front of the Chromebook and forget the bass. There was nothing to begin with. The Acer Chromebook 15 is easy to navigate. It is very user-friendly if you're familiar with Google Chrome browser- that's already 90% of it. There's still a desktop, of course, but most of the time expect to be working on the browser.

It also supports apps from the Google Play Store, but don't get too excited. The inner chrome of 15 is not touchscreen and most of the apps well. There decide for torch. You can use the keyboard and trackpad or even a mouse to navigate through the apps, but not all Android apps would work perfectly, but maybe in the future, developers would make an optimized version of the apps just for Chromebooks. The Acer Chromebook is equipped with an Intel Pentium and 4200 CPU quad-core 1.1, gigahertz, processor and 4 gigabytes of lpddr4 memory. It definitely doesn't sound that much, but try to remember why you're getting it for Chromebooks are great for browsing, word, processing and streaming sure you can play games on it, but the options are very sparse, like what I've said before most apps are not yet optimized to work perfectly on Chromebooks.

In short, it's just enough for the simple task for lag, free experience. I suggest you keep the tabs lower than 10 anything more than that could make your experience less smooth. As for the battery life, Acer claims that it can last up to 12 hours, but in reality, I get about an average of 8 to 10 hours before I'd be needing to plug it. In also, let me add that I'll admit when I first got. This I was a bit skeptical about its cooling system, but turns out the Acer Chromebook can hold on its own.

It stayed cool after our subscribing HD YouTube videos. So should you buy it first? Ask yourself who are you buying it for elder relatives, might like it since it's very simple to operate compared to a Windows or Apple laptop students might also like if it's more than enough for web research and word. Processing. Companies might also want to take a look on it. Should they want to cut down on expenses, since it is way cheaper than a full-blown desktop PC, the Acer Chromebook 15 offers a decent performance at a very affordable price? If you're.

Looking for a simple way to get online, get some work done and prefer Google's ecosystem you'll be happy with it and I guess. That's it comment down below which gadget laptop. You want me to review next. Maybe some unboxing videos also don't forget to subscribe, and I'll, see you guys next time, -! No, not thank you I'm, just ruling by the hood. Let it go.

Anthony mojo, serious.
